This home was just about perfect for the multigenerational needs of our group. The view was absolutely beautiful, better than we expected. The beds were all very comfortable. The layout of the home is very unique, and it is well documented in the reviews here. The kitchen is very well stocked, and the management team was very responsive. The home is nestled within a beautiful and safe residential neighborhood. The pool is not heated, and that would have made our stay perfect! It does appear that there is a heater, but it was not in use during our visit. We were in Kona during late December/early January. Pool water temperatures were in the lower 70\'s, while daytime temps were in the low 80\'s. We really enjoyed lounging by the pool, as well as enjoying the views!

This is a very well appointed house. The bedrooms are a bit choppy! Only the master and a twin bedroom are connected to the main room. All others have to be accessed from outside. However, if you are just friends coming together it does give you great privacy. Having a W/D both upstairs and downstairs was the bomb! Great stay. Love Kona. Aloha

Listing should be a 5 bed/3 bath plus 2 half bath and outdoor shower. The layout is funky but it was fine for our close knit group. Better privacy in the bathrooms is my only complaint. Actual solid doors and better window coverings. Patio and pool area are fantastic and everything you could possibly need is provided. A noisy neighbor with dogs but the pool waterfall drowns them out during the day. And that view!

Million dollar view, especially the sunset. The place us huge, and the pool is awesome. Management team was very responsive, and we were able to get a late checkout which helped us out a lot! I highly recommend this place for a family adventure!

Property was great. Took a while to figure out the lighting! The stove top is quirky and is either too hot or shuts off. Oven heats quickly. The washers and dryers were a huge help. Kids loved the pool. We have a wonderful time.

This was the perfect house for our group (8 women/girls trip). We loved the incredible and expansive view and large lanai/pill deck area. We spent most of our time on lanai enjoy the view and sharing laughs. The kitchen is large and well equipped. We cooked almost every meal at the house and loved the expansive kitchen and fabulous organization (label maker is this owners friend). This place is definitely funky and may not work for some parties/families. Please note that the three bedrooms on the main living area do not have walls that go to the ceiling. So if your inside, sound is basically in their bedrooms. for families with small children those bedrooms may be challenging. For us it didn’t really matter and like I said we spent most of our time on the lanai. The house is in a wonderful neighborhood and we took a vantage of daily walks and nearby trail.

Two families with 6 kids ranging in ages from 6 - 16, stayed here for 10 magical days. The house is in a nice, quiet neighborhood close to Kona, beaches and excursions. The house is very well appointed. In the kitchen and bathrooms. The showstopper is the view. Sipping cocktails by the pool, watching the kids splash in the pool while the sun painted the sky in spectacular colors as it set, was the highlight of every day. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. A few things to note. The walls of the main floor do not reach the ceiling, making for a lack of privacy for those using the master bedroom/bathroom. Being close friends, this did not impact our stay at all. Also, three of the bedrooms are not accessible from the main living space, but rather from the large upstairs veranda or taking the outdoor stairs down to the pool level. Again, this worked well for our group especially since the two downstairs rooms had their own bathrooms. There is a convenient half bath and outdoor shower by the pool as well. Overall, this was a terrific stay and we were super sad to leave. Thank you!

Perfect home for couples. What a great setting and we appreciated the architecture. Kitchen was so well stocked. The Two kitchens were amazing and great outdoor spaces to eat and enjoy one another's company.

Wonderful home for our group of eight in Hawaii. So well equipped. Gorgeous sunsets. Great location. The bathroom arrangement on the main floor is very odd. Three bedrooms on this floor but only one very "public" tub and shower in the master bedroom. The lack of privacy is commented in the guest book many times.

This house is beautifully designed and stayed comfortable all day, even without air conditioning. In the evening, we all loved watching the sun set and swimming in the pool. The cooking facilities are really good -- the kitchen is certainly the heart of this home! And dining is easy both inside and out. We had six adults and two kids under 4, and there was plenty of space for everyone. My sister-in-law commented that it was nice that the pool was downstairs so she didn't have to worry about the kids getting into the pool without an adult (they still need floats). There was plenty of parking -- we had three cars and we could park two upstairs side by side or two downstairs in tandem. There were extra beach towels and coolers -- that was really nice. Minor stuff that made it not quite 5 stars: 1. Unlocking is a little complicated. Not all the rooms are accessible from inside the front door, so you end up having to unlock the downstairs and two bedrooms separately. There wasn't anything in the instructions about that and it caused some confusion and anxiety the first few minutes there. 2. There was only one roll of toilet paper per bathroom and not all bathrooms had hand soap. We were staying for a week, so this was kind of annoying. 3. We'd called to ask if there was a crib and were told there wasn't, but we found one in the garage. Knowing that would have saved on some luggage. Maybe it is only temporary? 4. It would have been nice to play some music on the deck speakers, but we couldn't find a way to do it. Maybe too many problems with loud parties in the past? It is easy to recommend this place for extended families or other close friends travelling together. The neighborhood is quiet, the view is unbeatable, groceries and beaches are all pretty close by car. You're going to love it! Hmm, there is an empty lot for sale next door. Future renters might want to ask if construction is going on. Or buy it. Just sayin'.

We had all of our meals on the covered, spacious deck in front of the huge, well-equipped kitchen. We named the deck area in front of the master bedroom "the Sunset Bar" as the views were like none we had never seen before. Perhaps it was because the house is up from the beach that the sunsets were spectacular every night. Another bonus of the location is to be away from the chaos of the strip along the beach. 10 days went by quickly with morning trips, afternoon pool breaks, "Sunset Bar" drinks and meals prepared either in the kitchen or on the bbq. Also, the house was very clean when we arrived. It was very hard to leave our piece of paradise.

We had a wonderful time staying at Outrigger's Paradise this summer. We had 2 families, 10 people in total, with 6 kids ranging in age from 8-19. The house offered plenty of common space to hang out together, and private space for quiet time. Location was fantastic - a stone's throw from "downtown" Kailua, nice beaches nearby, convenient to restaurants/shopping, and tons of activities within a short drive. The house was well appointed, and if they give the downstairs bathrooms a deep cleaning, it's a 5-star property! Denise at the management company was a joy to deal with.

We stayed here during late March for 7 days and absolutely loved the home. There were 5 adults and 2 kids and plenty of space for everyone to spread out. Comfortable beds and well equipped for all your needs. The location is very convenient to grocery stores and for exploring the island. Pool is not heated but it warms up nicely once sun hits it, no AC but ocean breeze cools down house by end evening. Very nice neighborhood it is located in up on the hill. Easy travel to Kona, the market, or coffee farms. With the upstairs having 3 bedrooms and 2 baths and lower level having 2 bedrooms and 3 baths you never feel crowded. This house is set up like two houses since lower level also has a kitchen and laundry. The upper level has open ceilings between all the bedrooms. Amazing sunset views every night from porch and pool deck. I would recommend this house and hope to come again soon.

We spent 13 nights at this lovely home during our spring break. We had 9 family members total in our group ranging in ages from 5 to 71. The house was beautiful and very clean and the layout was perfect for us. Everyone had plenty of space. The rooms were nice, beds were very comfortable, and it was well equipped including a 2nd kitchen and 2nd washer & dryer downstairs. The view was spectacular and we enjoyed each and every sunset on the spacious deck. The large infinity pool was big enough for everyone in our party and it was the perfect temperature! There was plenty of seating and lounge chairs for all. The pool bathroom and outside heated shower was a nice feature too! We truely enjoyed our time spent here. It was the perfect break from our long, cold winter and it was tough to leave! Kudos to the property management team too - They were easy and friendly to work with!

My family stayed at this house on Jan 4th thru Jan 13 th and absolutely loved it. The view is phenomenal. The set up was just what we needed. Very close to town, markets and volcano is only 90 minute drive. Coffee farms are above you and easy to get to. I hope to come back to Kona and would definitely stay here again. They stock the house with essentials for your arrival. Best time ever !

We recently stayed a week here. We really enjoyed it. There were 6 adults and 4 children (8, 6, 3 and 6 months). We had plenty of room and everyone had their privacy. There was a pack and play available for the baby. The house is located very close to Kona and Ali'i drive. There decks all over the house to sit and relax and enjoy the beautiful views. The house is also very well equipped and everything is marked. We would recommend this house to anyone.

We were a group of 9 friends travelling from Canada, some for the first time and some have been before. We arrived late at night and had no trouble at all finding this gem from the airport. The views from this house is awesome regardless of what time of day! Sitting out on the balcony in the early morning enjoying a cup of coffee and just watching the ocean was breath-taking! The infinity pool is another breath-taking area to relax by! Having another kitchen area by the pool makes it so nice to have access to an area to keep food and drinks close by. There is also a separate washroom down by the pool so there is no need to go into the house, very handy! The Master bedroom is spectacular and the beds in all the rooms were very comfortable! An added bonus was a massage chair that everyone took advantage of! The kitchen area is very well marked and stacked with everything you could possibly think of. Overall, we had a GREAT stay at this house and would definitely book again!

First of all, I have to start by saying we booked this 6 months in advance and Denise was nothing but spectacular in answering all of our questions about the area. From luaus to places to eat, she gave us some of the best advice ever...they were even nice enough to supply us with a pack and play for an infant we brought with. This house was nothing short of spectacular. every place you look there is a bathroom, bedroom, TV, or a view. The VIEWS..are nothing short of spectacular everywhere you look. The kitchen came fully stocked with every possible utensil and appliance you can think of so no worrying there... simply add food and off you go. They even had a massage chair...! Located within 30 minutes of the Kona airport (and even less to the main shopping/dining area), it was a breeze to get wherever you wanted to if you felt like going out. The nights left us speechless sitting out on the upper lanai (there's two for god sakes!), watching the sunset then listening to the ocean in the distance with the breeze blowing...words just weren't enough. The mornings were the same way, being able to sit out there with the wind watching the boats on the ocean while eating. I would definitely use this rental again (if we had 10 people) but for sure will be dealing with their other rentals in the future.

There was a total of ten in our party ( 2 sets of Grandparents, 5 young adults, and 1 Grandchild) and this house proved to be ideal. The pool and the view were our favourite features. The upstairs kitchen was also very well equipped and layed out for a large group. The king size beds were very comfortable which provided us with great sleeps. The house was very clean and fresh which made one feel at home. The area is quiet and secure which added to the comfort level. Shopping and food sources are very close by car, which is such a convience. We spent very little time away as we so enjoyed the pool and the view. This was truly a very relaxing holiday and I would definitely come back.

We had a wonderful Christmas at this beautiful house. The kids and adults were very comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped. Everything was clearly labelled. The lanai is the best place to hang out all day, and the pool is perfect. The location is central and the neighborhood very quiet. A great place to come with a large group.

What a location! In the mornings (after taking the quick drive down to the ocean for a swim) I'd pick up breakfast for my family and we'd eat on the deck and watch the sun rise. Both the upper deck and the lower patio were prefect for dining and entertaining our local friends. The pool was spotless and always the perfect temperature, with shallow ends for my smaller children and nephew to swim in while the bigger kids coud swim up to teh edge of the pool and look over all of Kailua Kona. Around the pool and patio there were countless tropical plants that attracted native birds and gave the property an exotic feel. There was also a solar-powered outdoor shower that was heavenly! On the inside of the upper level the layout was very open and welcoming. It was decorated tastefully and felt quite comfortable. The master bedroom was spacious and had an update bathroom attached with a glass shower and large bathtub. The kitchen was open with a nice, stainless steel fridge and sleek oven-top. The island with the bar stools was nice for the one time it rained during the trip. The living area was nice, but we didn't spend much time in it because of the beauty and weather found outside. The other two bedrooms on the upper floor were cozy and the beds were comfortable. On the lower level the two bedrooms were more spcacious than the two guest rooms upstairs and had their own full bathrooms. On top of their size and privacy they had sliding doors (with screens) that allowed for the cool evening air to come and go as it pleased. Also outside near the outdoor shower was a semi-outdoor bathroom concealed by a saloon-style swinging door. It allowed the children easy access to facilities so they didn't have to take long breaks in their fun. At the entrance on Kilohana St. there is ample parking, along with the garage at the enterance of Ailina St. All in all the house was strikingly well maintained and clean. The only complaint came from the kids, whos said the local turkeys were too loud in the mornings! With the house being located at probably 600 ft. and close to town, the temperature never got too cool (obviously) or too hot. It was close to great surf/swim spots like Kahaluu Bay and Magic Sands. Downtown Kona was close and easy to get to whenever we felt like good food or shopping. Along with downtown there was a shopping center in Keahou (only a short drive) that had everything else we could need. It was the perfect home base for a great vacation!

Most fantastic vacation getaway I have ever been to! This is a beautiful home with gorgeous views. It felt so much like home that my family and I didn't want to leave!

Outrigger Paradise is a gorgeous spot! We swam at 6 AM as the sun was rising and at 4 PM as the day was cooling, then sat on the lanai with drinks to watch the breathtaking sunset each night. A couple of times we got in the pool again after dark (it has lights and a waterfall). There is even an outdoor shower for washing sand off after an outing to the beach. In fact, both showers we used (there are two more we didn't try) were divine, as the water is solar heated. It was so nice to have our own space to spread out in, complete with Sub Zero refrigerator and full service kitchen four t.v.s, numerous tropical fans and lots of poolside furniture. The whole house is comfortable and well-appointed, less than a mile to good restaurants and shops, and there are zillions of things to do in Kona in an outdoorsy way, from Farmers' Market to parasailing.
