Description

This studio apartment features an open loft-style floor plan with vaulted ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows framing Pacific Ocean views. The bedroom area has one queen bed with a dresser and flat-screen TV. The bathroom includes a vanity with counter space and a standing shower with stone tile. The full kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances, drip coffee maker, toaster, cookware, and flatware, plus seating for 4 at the counter. The living area has a loveseat, coffee table, and desk with workspace. Step outside to the oversized private balcony with patio furniture and a retractable awning for sun protection. Enjoy ocean breezes in summer or cozy up indoors during cooler winter months. WiFi included. Street parking available. This is a studio layout with open sightlines between kitchen, living, and sleeping areas.

This property was a dream come true. Beautifully appointed large ocean view studio with large deck and windows allowing light and breezes. I cannot criticize a thing except maybe the few cobwebs on the stair railing coming down to the wonderful parking space!

This place was a wonderful spot for our anniversary vacation. The studio apartment was extremely clean upon check in. We were happy to find a few kitchen essentials that we didn’t need to run out and pick up. Plenty of food storage containers, bowls, etc. too. The view is phenomenal!! Unobstructed view of the ocean from the balcony. The property description notes that you’ll be close to the 101 and the Amtrak line… that is absolutely true, and you’ll have unavoidable road and train noise, but to put it in perspective, there are $10M homes even closer to 101… that’s vacationing on the California coast. We were there at a pretty hot period, and were able to regulate the temp in the apartment with windows, shade control, and the provided fan. Exactly a half mile walk (or drive) to the Lookout Point beach. Apartment even came with a couple of loaner beach chairs! Overall a great experience in one of the nicest SBA suburbs.

Awesome location with great views. Very clean. The only issues we had was that the oven didn’t work or get fixed & a couple of other things that needed to be fixed. Other than that it was great!

I absolutely fell in love with the place. It was so peaceful and beautiful. Safety was a main concern of mine, since I was traveling alone, and I could not have felt safer and more at home. The view was amazing, the neighborhood was so quiet. Within walking distance you could easily spend the day in the beautiful shops, eateries, beach and the beautiful bird sanctuary. It was also easy to get on the freeway and head to surrounding areas. I’m so happy I chose this place. I hope to book again in the future.

This was a great place with an amazing view. It had most of the amenities we needed. The only drawbacks were no air conditioning and being so close to the freeway. We needed to keep the windows open at night to let the breeze in, but we heard the freeway noise because of that. Great little area just south of SB with quaint restaurants and shops.

This was a marvelous vacation experience. The panoramic ocean view from this spacious studio was breathtaking. I can best describe its sparkling clean interior as elegant and classy. It was obviously upgraded in recent years, to include a modern kitchen area, beautiful flooring, and dark stained window and door frame trim. The queen size bed was very comfortable, and my wife and I commented more than once that we were sleeping better in it than in our bed at home. One other thing: I can’t say enough about the VRBO support we received throughout our stay. Questions we had were answered immediately and there was a strong sense that staff wanted to make sure that we were thoroughly enjoying ourselves, which indeed we were.

This Summerland home was a great vacation getaway. Like the description mentions, the highway and train are very audible, but it is quiet most of the time. The host is very courteous and quick to reply to messages.

Great place I stayed over a month. My portable air filter drowned out the 101 so it never bothered me. It is well equipped for a long stay. Very private, incredible view, great town, nearby beaches are beautiful. I would definitely stay there again. They quickly respond to any issues. Just book it!
