This house was amazing. Our 3&5 year old boys had an absolute blast in the back yard and the house set up made us feel right at home with a breakfast counter and dining table great for meal time. When we visit again next summer we are absolutely looking to stay here again!

This cute little house had such promise and we really wanted to love it. Unfortunately upon check in we found that the only bathroom had a broken hot water faucet handle that was not operational for a normal person. We immediately contacted the host to let them know about the problem. A plumber arrived the next morning and indicated that it could not be fixed. He told us upon leaving that the owner and host would communicate and schedule a replacement. That was all he said to us. We stayed 5 nights at this property without functioning hot water in the bathroom sink. That to me is totally unacceptable. We paid high dollar for this property for car week and the owner and host could not offer a solution to fix the faucet. I also had to keep following up with the host as no one ever reached out to me without my initiating the conversation. This was my first experience with this host and VRBO and it was not what I expected. I was also told by the host that I should be able to turn the water on without the handle. How? As I stated, I am not Godzilla. Disappointed in Seaside.

Absolutely loved staying here with my family for a few days. We loved spending the evenings in the backyard and it had everything we needed! Great proximity to restaurants/things to do, extremely clean and just enough space for us. Was a little nervous during the day without AC but the evenings cooled off the house and it was nice being able to leave windows open. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Loved this home and the location. It was very convenient to the Monterey Aquarium, Carmel by the Sea, and whale watching. Even took a day trip to San Francisco/Muir Woods which was not a bad drive at all. Definitely recommend The Power Plant in Moss Landing for any coffee enthusiasts.Hosts were very responsive. We had an issue with the TV not connecting to wifi the first day. We got there late the first day. By the second day, the hosts had already had someone come to the house to fix the problem. Would stay here again!

We loved the house cute and perfect size even though the bedrooms were on the small ish size but it was a cottage. Awesome outside space. We loved the fire pit. Peaceful in the morning with my coffee. It was close to everything we wanted to do on our trip. However one of the lights in the bedrooms didn’t work also the hot water faucet in bathroom sink was broken… no big deal cold water work. The only thing I had an issue with was with was the TV it would not connect with the internet. So no TV and I tried every number and message for assistance minimal response. Would I stay again… yes.

This is an adorable and functional place to stay in Monterey. the outdoor space is perfect for kids and the outdoor fireplace was lovely. the home is clean and has a great open floor plan. the only criticism I'd offer is the location is a bit random but close enough to everything so it worked out.

The house is comfortable and clean. It has a few issues we informed the host company about, so hope they get fixed. Note you are working with a host company, not an individual, so issues are taken by an answering service and forwarded to the team. Don't expect instant results. We appreciated the comfortable bed, instant hot water, and the location, close to everything. The hot water gets really hot really fast, so monitor your kids as they use it as the fast heat may surprise them. Enjoy the firepit, it's wonderful!

It was a lovely place. It was clean. We did see a few ants in the kitchen area and reported it. Management said they would send someone over to set some ant traps. The internet connection through the TV was at bit spotty at time and would go in and out. The backyard and grill were perfect for grilling some food. Overall it was very nice and cozy for us.

We really enjoyed our stay - location was perfect. Centrally located to everything Monterey had to offer, plus restaurants, grocery and pharmacy in very close proximity. The street is fairly busy, but we were not bothered by noise. There is one bedroom that faces the street, but noise was not a problem. The host was incredibly responsive to comments and questions during the stay. We weren't able to fully enjoy the firepit and outdoor space because of stormy weather, but we had plenty of space inside for family time. I especially appreciated the clear labels on light switches throughout the home, and clear instructions accessing and leaving the property. There is plenty of driveway tandem parking and street parking available.

Super cute property, perfect for a weekend away. Great space mins to Monterey Bay Aquarium and great restaurants. Great backyard with picnic table and firepit. Gas to firepit was shut off at the meter the first night we arrived, with no instructions about how to turn it on that I could find, we tried to turn the local gas knob at the fire and light to no avail. Tried to assess with host (a management co) whether they could provide or point me to instructions on Friday night as I assumed something like this may be the case and they messaged they would send a technician the next day which identified the issue. Appreciated the help, but do wish they could have provided instructions the first night so we could use as we had really looked forward to it and only stayed two nights. Kitchen seemed well stocked from my quick peruse (blender, mixing bowls, measuring cups, etc) but we only ate out, had snacks, or takeout at the house so didn't test it out. Nice shower and small bath, worked great for us. Small living room, laundry in kitchen, and kids books available. Queen beds were fine, although wish there was an extra blanket in each bedroom and some for out back. We had brought a blanket in our car that I used to keep warm inorder to sit out back the first night and then ended up using that to sleep with at the start of the night before the room got hot. As an FYI on booking the mgmt company requested a lot of personal info to verify my identity and to sign add'l T&Cs.

It was a nice house, clean, well taken care of. It’s very small. The driveway is super narrow and difficult to park and unload your car of kids and luggage without scratching it up on the hedges or house. The backyard is great and very inviting, the kitchen is very nice and easy to use. It’s a good place to stay to get easy access to surrounding activities. It is right next to a commercial area though (stores and restaurants) and you aren’t exactly going to be enjoying the front so much.

Really lovely place to stay to explore Monterey Bay area. Felt really at home and the rental was spotless and very comfortable and stylish to stay in. It worked fine for us and two young children (2.5 yrs toddler and 9 month baby). The local playground a walk away helped! Pack n play was provided but a high chair wasn’t, this would have made it extra perfect but we managed nevertheless! Easy parking and lovely gardens. Responsive hosts. Overall highly recommended place to stay.

We had a great stay here with our 1 year old. You’re only a 10-15 minute drive to the aquarium and Carmel by the sea. The cottage is small, but cute and has everything you need. The turfed back yard was great for our little to run around a bit and we enjoyed the fire pit at night. Appreciated the responsive hosts.

Cute cottage! Clean and bright, and a good central location to enjoy the weekend in Monterey with easy access to activities and restaurants. Simple check-in and check-out with easy to follow instructions for the keypad door lock. Nice kitchen with plenty of dishes, glassware etc. Plenty of driveway parking, and the backyard with the fire pit is a great space to enjoy. Not a lot of extra room in the bedrooms if you have large suitcases but very comfortable. Great spot for a girls weekend or couples getaway!

Beautiful home! We had a lovely stay. I would have provided 5 stars but some of the amenities listed such as the beach items weren’t available. When asked they responded quickly that they would bring them by, and didn’t. We ended up having to purchase items at Target in order for us to go (we didn’t bring out items from home since they said they were provided). Same with the toaster in the kitchen, a replacement was said to be brought but didn’t end up happening which impacted our breakfast plans for the week. Otherwise a nice stay, quiet neighborhood and very beautiful. Very close to the beach and other activities.

This is a very charming and beautiful cottage. The kitchen was spacious and had updated and nice appliances. The yard is definitely one of the best attributes this cottage has. It was very cute and magical lit up at night with the hanging bistro lights and fire pit. My daughter enjoyed her first s’more here. Great memories!

This was the perfect cozy place to enjoy our time on the Monterey peninsula. Location was convenient to get to all the sights but nice to be a little bit away from the tourist areas. The house was very clean and had all we needed. We would stay here again without hesitation.

This is an adorable and functional place to stay in Monterey. the outdoor space is perfect for kids and the outdoor fireplace was lovely. the home is clean and has a great open floor plan. the only criticism I'd offer is the location is a bit random but close enough to everything so it worked out.

The house is comfortable and clean. It has a few issues we informed the host company about, so hope they get fixed. Note you are working with a host company, not an individual, so issues are taken by an answering service and forwarded to the team. Don't expect instant results. We appreciated the comfortable bed, instant hot water, and the location, close to everything. The hot water gets really hot really fast, so monitor your kids as they use it as the fast heat may surprise them. Enjoy the firepit, it's wonderful!

It was a lovely place. It was clean. We did see a few ants in the kitchen area and reported it. Management said they would send someone over to set some ant traps. The internet connection through the TV was at bit spotty at time and would go in and out. The backyard and grill were perfect for grilling some food. Overall it was very nice and cozy for us.

We really enjoyed our stay - location was perfect. Centrally located to everything Monterey had to offer, plus restaurants, grocery and pharmacy in very close proximity. The street is fairly busy, but we were not bothered by noise. There is one bedroom that faces the street, but noise was not a problem. The host was incredibly responsive to comments and questions during the stay. We weren't able to fully enjoy the firepit and outdoor space because of stormy weather, but we had plenty of space inside for family time. I especially appreciated the clear labels on light switches throughout the home, and clear instructions accessing and leaving the property. There is plenty of driveway tandem parking and street parking available.

Super cute property, perfect for a weekend away. Great space mins to Monterey Bay Aquarium and great restaurants. Great backyard with picnic table and firepit. Gas to firepit was shut off at the meter the first night we arrived, with no instructions about how to turn it on that I could find, we tried to turn the local gas knob at the fire and light to no avail. Tried to assess with host (a management co) whether they could provide or point me to instructions on Friday night as I assumed something like this may be the case and they messaged they would send a technician the next day which identified the issue. Appreciated the help, but do wish they could have provided instructions the first night so we could use as we had really looked forward to it and only stayed two nights. Kitchen seemed well stocked from my quick peruse (blender, mixing bowls, measuring cups, etc) but we only ate out, had snacks, or takeout at the house so didn't test it out. Nice shower and small bath, worked great for us. Small living room, laundry in kitchen, and kids books available. Queen beds were fine, although wish there was an extra blanket in each bedroom and some for out back. We had brought a blanket in our car that I used to keep warm inorder to sit out back the first night and then ended up using that to sleep with at the start of the night before the room got hot. As an FYI on booking the mgmt company requested a lot of personal info to verify my identity and to sign add'l T&Cs.

It was a nice house, clean, well taken care of. It’s very small. The driveway is super narrow and difficult to park and unload your car of kids and luggage without scratching it up on the hedges or house. The backyard is great and very inviting, the kitchen is very nice and easy to use. It’s a good place to stay to get easy access to surrounding activities. It is right next to a commercial area though (stores and restaurants) and you aren’t exactly going to be enjoying the front so much.

Property exactly as show, very clean, new bright great backyard area. Not sure about the 5 min to beach,but not walking to. The property itself is lovely and yes conveniently located to all highways, just is on a busy street and area to be aware of.

Really lovely place to stay to explore Monterey Bay area. Felt really at home and the rental was spotless and very comfortable and stylish to stay in. It worked fine for us and two young children (2.5 yrs toddler and 9 month baby). The local playground a walk away helped! Pack n play was provided but a high chair wasn’t, this would have made it extra perfect but we managed nevertheless! Easy parking and lovely gardens. Responsive hosts. Overall highly recommended place to stay.

Great spot to stay for Carmel/Monterey/Big Sur activities. Turfed back yard with fire pit and rose bushes was a really great spot to unwind at the end of the day. Really convenient location close to grocery stores and restaurants.

We had a great stay here with our 1 year old. You’re only a 10-15 minute drive to the aquarium and Carmel by the sea. The cottage is small, but cute and has everything you need. The turfed back yard was great for our little to run around a bit and we enjoyed the fire pit at night. Appreciated the responsive hosts.

Cute cottage! Clean and bright, and a good central location to enjoy the weekend in Monterey with easy access to activities and restaurants. Simple check-in and check-out with easy to follow instructions for the keypad door lock. Nice kitchen with plenty of dishes, glassware etc. Plenty of driveway parking, and the backyard with the fire pit is a great space to enjoy. Not a lot of extra room in the bedrooms if you have large suitcases but very comfortable. Great spot for a girls weekend or couples getaway!

Beautiful home! We had a lovely stay. I would have provided 5 stars but some of the amenities listed such as the beach items weren’t available. When asked they responded quickly that they would bring them by, and didn’t. We ended up having to purchase items at Target in order for us to go (we didn’t bring out items from home since they said they were provided). Same with the toaster in the kitchen, a replacement was said to be brought but didn’t end up happening which impacted our breakfast plans for the week. Otherwise a nice stay, quiet neighborhood and very beautiful. Very close to the beach and other activities.

This is a very charming and beautiful cottage. The kitchen was spacious and had updated and nice appliances. The yard is definitely one of the best attributes this cottage has. It was very cute and magical lit up at night with the hanging bistro lights and fire pit. My daughter enjoyed her first s’more here. Great memories!

We had a beautiful stay at the Seaside cottage! It was delightful to be so close to Monterey for our trips to the aquarium, the park, and the waterfront. We loved this charming bungalow. The inside of the home had ample space with two good size bedrooms. The interior of the home was beautiful. We spent a lot of time in Carmel which was a short drive. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. We would definitely stay here again!

The house is very charming and was very convenient to Monterey's Aquarium, restaurants and beach. The house has a landscaped backyard with a fire pit that provided us with a great space for drinks and conversation. Great host!!

My wife, 2-year old daughter, and I stayed here for an extended weekend and loved it. The location is perfect being a 10 minute drive away from Monterey. We would definitely try to stay here again if we visited the area.
