Family Friendly Home in South Austin

My kids loved the play set in the backyard. The house was spacious for the three of us. It was a nice location where my boys could ride their scooter up and down the sidewalk.

We had a great visit with friends while we were in town for a week. We had two dogs with us who loved the yard and had plenty of space to relax with us while we visited friends.\n\nIt was a comfortable stay for the two of us while we visited with friends and family. Close to several HEBs, favorite restaurants, easy to get around town.\n\nBe careful parking, though. On the last day, our friends got a ticket for slightly blocking the sidewalk. There's plenty of street parking, so if you have two long cars, I would suggest parking on in the street.

Very cozy 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom house. The house is very well equipped, clean and with a large patio. The location was perfect for us. The only area of improvement (there is always one) is the lack of flexibility for the check in and check out. And also the check in time : 4:00 pm which is late and check out time 10:00 am which is very early. We left at 10:10 am and the house keeping lady was waiting for us to leave. For the price, we could expect more flexibility.

Our stay was just what we needed for a few nights spent with family in Austin! The swing set was a hit with our four year old, and the patio seating was great. There was plenty of space inside for us and visiting friends, and the house was inviting and comfortable. The hosts were communicative for several questions we had while staying, and responded quickly! We would be happy to stay here again!

This is a great little neighborhood. It was perfect for our needs. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was adequate for our needs. It was well located to stores we needed. The keyless entry had issues with relocking within 30 seconds but we managed. The fenced yard was great. The washer and dryer were great.

We really enjoyed our stay at the house. So many pros including the wonderful backyard (it’s given me renovation ideas) and the location. Overall the place was clean and comfortable. The kitchen is old and definitely could use some deep scrubbing but all in all, I would definitely recommend this place to stay. The host was also super helpful and when we realized we needed extra pillow cases they sent them through Amazon quickly. Great host and great little place!

The house was small but very nice and clean . Sufficient for our needs. The play equipment and play house in the back yard was a huge hit for our 3&5 yr old granddaughters. It was a great place and a block away from an HEB. Very convenient. Loved it! The owners were always quick to answer any of my questions. Highly recommend this place.

Great house. Nice quiet neighborhood. The host was nice enough to let us check in early. They had toiletries and towels. The house was very clean. Living room furniture is a little uncomfortable but that’s pretty common in rentals. Kitchen and grill worked great for an eating in. My only small gripe was the outdoor space which I’ll give you the good and the bad: The good: A big draw for us was the tree house play house you see in the photos. The playhouse itself is really cool. Well built. It’s air conditioned with electricity and has toys (mostly for girls but my son didn’t care!) My son also loved the slide. The bad: The grounds of the back yard is not really safe to let young kids run around. There is rotting wood (an old garden area maybe) and rusted out metal (maybe an old fire pit). Honestly a few hours or clean up and the area would be amazing and I would have felt more comfortable letting him run around. Overall a great place with a great host and would

I was in town for a martial arts tournament. Every night when I got in to this house it was nice to have everything I needed, and get a great nights sleep.

Pros: -Near the freeway -Nice backyard -BBQ -Washer / Dryer -Pull out couch -Relatively comfortable Cons: -No curtains in the bedrooms; with little kids we had to get creative and hang up blankets over the windows. In Master we stuck aluminum foil to the window :P -Low water pressure / Low Shower head. We are a tall family and this would be an easy fix to make people feel more comfortable. -No dishwasher soap / pods. -No laundry soap / pods -Extremely limited kitchen supplies -Lost tablet; my son left his amazon fire tablet on the couch and despite their cleaning staff looking around, it wasn't recovered. I appreciate their efforts, but it makes me scratch my head why they couldn't find it. I know it's our own fault for leaving it behind. We had to buy a lot at the local grocery store to fully enjoy our stay. We've stayed at other Air BnB's that had simple things like laundry soap / dish soap for us.

The house is nice, the yard being the primary feature if you have kids - INCREDIBLE playhouse! The patio is also nice and the house itself is in good shape. the garage game room was also nice during the hot part of the day. Only negative (aside from the hidden pet fees charged after the fact to get the entry code...) was that the shower water control nozzle was broken. these things happen, but shoulda been fixed before renting again. Solid 4/5.

Great house, especially for families with children. The backyard is a real gem, perfectly set up for kids. We were pleasantly surprised to find an air conditioner in the playhouse, which made it even more comfortable for the little ones. This home is cozy and clean! With my son in Austin and us in San Antonio this is a perfect place for us to stay for the weekend! More reasonably priced than many hotels. We came to Austin to be centrally located for our son’s wedding. The home is comfortable, clean with a great backyard which gets great shade to sit outside.. we had no kids to play on the playground but plenty of run around for our pup.. The wireless is fast and there are enough televisions for all.. we never had time for the air hockey thank you for hosting us, you will be our first choice whenever we return from Michigan..

I had to travel to Austin for work and brought my family along. This home was perfect for my kids and offered lots of activity and places to play. They spent a ton of time playing in the play house, the swing set and the air hockey table. It offered everything we needed.
