Retreat in Bouldin Creek, Walkable to restaurants

The place was so cute and in a perfect location in Austin! Right next to downtown, without the noise or traffic. The directions on getting in were a bit confusing, the front door to the house is actually on the street around the corner, so we couldn't find the entrance, but the team was very responsive and we got in quick! Would absolutely stay here again! :D

This home was as described, the hosts were incredibly responsive. Neighborhood was quiet and safe; incredibly walkable. We stayed for ACL music fest, and found it walkable.

2 of us stayed for 11 days for SXSW to be near S. Lamar & a mile walk to the Alamo. The home is hidden behind a fence/gate, not mentioned in entry directions, which left me perplexed when my uber dropped me off at the “A” unit where the driveway/mailbox is. When I contacted support, they were nice but gave unclear guidance. 20min later, I figured out the entrance was on the connecting st. The house was chosen because we planned to make meals during the week in the kitchen, but it’s not yet stocked for a long term stay (ex: only 2 coffee mugs). I communicated that there were no cutting board or kitchen knives and they dropped off 1 knife and cutting boards, which was kind. I hope they consider adding more supplies/pantry items. Living room furniture is a bit run down. No decor upstairs. No desk or stools at kitchen island to eat or work. And I noted a missing smoke detector downstairs. The bed/pillows were comfy! 2 baths and washer/dryer a plus. Train rolls by often but I didn’t mind.

The place was mostly good and comfortable, but there were some aspects of the booking that weren't ideal. There are no house numbers visible from the road so it's hard to find. They should mention in the listing that they're next to a train track that has several loud trains that go by during the day and night. Not enough dishes and silverware. The upstairs bathroom didn't have any hooks to hang towels off of. In a way, they were overly communicative with automated messages, but when I asked a question, they never responded. They also offered a late checkout and when I confirmed I wanted one, they said they couldn't actually offer one. That was annoying. I think overall the listing is fine, especially if you're just looking for a place to crash, not hang out at.

It was a nice place near south Lamar and Congress. Very walkable. Nice neighborhood. There is a train that runs along the creek all day/night. Loud enough to hear but at least it wasn’t blowing the whistle in the middle of the night! It was a little cramped for 4 adults and 2 kids. There wasn’t sheets for the pull out couch.

Quiet neighborhood. You have to walk a ways to get to restaurants. House is fine-sterile decor but good enough. Communication with the company was good/quick. Right by railroad tracks, tucked away.

This place is excellent to visit Austin for the weekend. It was close to Zilker Park and downtown. The neighborhood is quiet and the house is kinda hidden off the street. We had plenty of room to park. The inside of the house was clean and well kept. We had all the amenities we needed. We only had 4 people in our group but we could have slept 6 with the living room couch bed. I would totally rent this place again!

This is a great little house in the perfect quiet location. The few issues we had were immediately addressed by the management company. I thought the street parking may be an issue but this street is so quiet that this was not an issue. We would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at this charming 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom home. We were in town Thursday through Tuesday for the F1 race, and the property was the perfect base for our family (two adults and our 7-year-old).The location is unbeatable—truly walkable to the fantastic shops and restaurants on South Congress (SoCo). With a few restaurants a little closer too!Inside, the house offered plenty of room for all of us, and the amenities were excellent. The A/C was strong and kept us cool all week, which was a huge relief in the Austin heat. Plus, having the in-unit laundry was incredibly helpful for our extended trip. Highly recommend this place for comfort, space, and a premium Austin location!

This was a great rental, it was clean and well maintained, really cute house overall! It was perfect for the three of us and had everything we needed. We did have a difficult time locating the house and getting the code, but the owners responded quickly and we got right in. We would definitely rent here again!
