The home was beautiful and clean for the most part. There was no hot water available and the hot tub was not working at the time of our visit. On the slip side, the home was great to host large groups and offers a lot of privacy. The area was beautiful and the exterior porch offers a great view of the landscape. If it weren’t for those few issues, the stay would’ve been perfect.

Our party consisted of 10 Adults (3 Teens) we arrived Friday afternoon, and really appreciated that earlier check in was available. The home was very clean, and plenty of items throughout the home that were available. From boardgames, towels, full kitchen, icemaker (which was a huge plus ) - plus floaties and neat things for the awesome pool. Only downside is that you can't see the lake due to it being so dry, so its understandable. But definitely a home with a wonderful and peaceful vibe.

We are thrilled to hear that you and your group enjoyed your stay at Level-Up Poolside! We are glad you appreciated the early check-in, cleanliness, and well-stocked amenities. It's unfortunate about the lake view, but we're happy you still had a peaceful vibe. Thank you for the 5-star review!

My stay was amazing but the house needs a lot of work The Kitchen plugs kept going out when we were trying to use our frying devices, The second day The WiFi completely shut down And The next morning The oven would not work house needs a lot of upgrades

Thank you so much for staying with us and for sharing your thoughts—it really helps us fine-tune the guest experience. We’re so glad you had an amazing stay overall! Since your visit, we’ve looked into the kitchen outlets and appliances to ensure everything is working properly and ready for future guests. WiFi service can be temporarily inconsistent in the area, but it’s typically resolved quickly when reported. We’re always keeping an eye out for where upgrades are most helpful and appreciate the heads-up. Your comfort is always our priority!

We had a great stay overall and really enjoyed this house for our large family. The location was perfect, and the views were absolutely stunning. The private pool was a big hit—very clean, and we appreciated the fun swim toys that were provided. The large dining table was also a huge plus for shared meals and games.A few things to note: the outdoor patio/pool lights didn’t work, which made evenings outside pretty dark. The house could definitely use some updates and a fresh coat of paint, but the beds and linens were clean and comfortable. The WiFi didn’t work during our stay, and the code we were originally given to access the house was incorrect, though the host responded quickly with the correct one. The half-bath had a non-working toilet, which made things a bit tricky with 10 people. Also, the ice machine took a while to get going.Overall, we really liked the space, especially the pool and views, and with a few fixes, it could be even better!

We had a great time swimming and enjoying the views. Our original door code did not unlock the door when we arrived, but we called and they texted us back with a new code. We watched a movie but one of the surroud speakers would not play the voice parts. After some fidgeting my husband discovered a button labeled "2channel" or something like that got it to work. There might have been a toilet paper shortage unless we just didn't find it. Seems like a lot of complaining but these were minor things and only slightly affected our overall experience :)

We had a great weekend, the house was nice, the view was amazing, and the customer service by far was over the top excellent, like every time I asked a question or called they responded instantly, my only suggestions would be to clean the house better and fix the lighting for the pool, we really wanted to night swim and we couldn’t because none of the pool lights worked, but over all we had a blast!

I would like to preface this by saying that I stay in STRs a lot with friends and family. My expectations are not extremely high but I do know what a STR should look like on the inside and outside. The place needs maintenance and updates badly. Oven knobs are cheap, buy them. I sat on a chair AT the dining room table that tried to collapse under me. I was saw that it had been previously broken and repaired with scotch tape. The deck overlooking the pool area is riddled with nails sticking out of the boards. Do not walk barefoot out there. The pool was surprisingly clean and floaties were available but the area hasn’t been cleaned or kept up. The dining table along with 2 loungers at the pool are broken. One of the living room couches is completely broken. It hasn’t been replaced from when someone complained about it months ago. The surround sound was a pain for us to use but by the 2nd night we knew what to do so we could watch tv. The towel bar in the entry bath fell off the wall while we were hanging up a towel. There are holes in the wall and major upkeep that needs to be done. Now the cleanliness,….walls and baseboards need to be washed. They are just dirty everywhere. A duster on a long pole for the ceilings to get the cobwebs and dead bugs. That was the worst part. The beds were comfortable and the pool felt great. The location and neighborhood were nice and quiet. We enjoyed the view and watching the planes from Spicewood airport all day.

Thank you for sharing such thoughtful feedback. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the location and that the beds were comfortable. We've reviewed the concerns mentioned and are already working through updates to address the wear and tear you pointed out, including furniture, outdoor decking, and overall deep cleaning. This property sees high guest traffic and while we do our best to stay ahead, we know there’s room for improvement. Your detailed notes help us move in the right direction and we hope to welcome you back to see the improvements firsthand.
