Island Paradise A waterfront oasis with pool

The house was perfect peaceful and my family loved it the only problem they had was not enough towels to bathe for everyone. Other than that house was perfect.

We absolutely loved our stay! The house was great, wish there were updated appliances (microwaves/oven/stove top are all very outdated, fridge/freezer is very small for 12 ppl worth of food), and needed more hand soap and towels for all bathrooms. Our host was very responsive and helped before, during, and after our stay. Issues we had (very minor- garbage can outside mostly) we simply just reached out to them to create awareness. The backyard and docks are beyond amazing and totally sealed the deal for us. The bedrooms aren't as awkward as I thought they would be. The first and 3rd connected bedroom have easy access to get out of the house. First bedroom uses the bathroom by the kitchen, second bedroom has a bathroom, and third bedroom has a bathroom in the next room (game room).

Good place to stay. Beautiful setting. Host very responsive. Only complaint was supply of enough towels. Easily remedy though. All in all great stay and would stay there again.

My family of 12 had a wonderful time during our stay. Minor hiccups in beginning but was resolved quickly. There was a bad storm one night and did some damage to the property but it did not affect our stay, we rented a boat for 2 days and hung out by the pier to fish, the pool was a hit for the small ones. Kitchen fully stocked, plenty of seating inside and under covered porch. All in all couldn’t of asked for anything more, we are already talking about going back next year for Easter. 😊

We used this stay during our Thanksgiving family visit. It was very spacious and gave us a great opportunity to see one another without feeling like we were all on top on each other. There was a ton of space to spread out. The family loved the outdoor space and we really enjoyed walking the neighborhood and seeing the emus across the street.

We truly enjoyed our stay! The property and locations were beautiful! We enjoyed the pool, views, and easy access to the lake. We had a group of 10 and everyone had enough space and had a wonderful time. The host was super responsive and very helpful every step of the way. We would recommend this stay to our friends and family.

Very nice place for a large family get-together! Thanks for having us. Finally found remotes - they are located in each room in what looks like a book. Could never get the ceiling fan in the living room to work even though we went and bought new batteries.

Out check in was without issue. We found the property to be clean and neat. We did have some issues. First when we arrived there was a note from the person who cleaned the house indicating that the freezer would not open. She said she put in a report. I contacted the host to let her know. She told us something to try but it did not work. I realize we were checking in on a weekend but I expected someone to come and take care of this by Monday and no one ever came to fix this. We had to use an ice check the whole time and get ice every day. We also were not able to get some of the food items we had planned because of no freezer. Not only did we have to deal with this our entire stay but your next guest will also have to deal with this. The other issue I had was that there were not enough towels. For our bathroom that served two bedrooms there were five towels one wash cloth and one hand towel. Most women use two towels. One for the hair and one for the body. Please invest in more towels.

The property was great for our family of 7. Plenty of room, inside and out. It’s a great location, close to town. The lake was still messy from the flooding effects, but we did get to use the boat and jet ski toward the end of our stay. It’s beautiful there, great place to relax and lots to do and see in the area.

The add on to the house is very confusing when it comes to turning on lights and fans, like it is in other rooms to make it happen. It would be great to have instructions. Not all remotes worked in bedrooms for televisions, frustratingA few of the lounge chairs and umbrella holders were rusted and falling apart, could use a little face lift in the outdoor decor Outdoor space is awesome and the pool is ideal to hang out Guest house is a great space for the fam with the infant but the ac unit is a bit loud and fan clicks constantly when you turn it in and the door auto lock is tricky, we could not get in one night and had to call management.The location to grocery store, bait shop, convenience stores and boat rentals is close and convenient

Perfekt eingerichtete Wohnung, sehr stilvoll, (fast) schon luxurios, privat und geschmackvoll. Es fehlt an nichts. Die Lage ist hervorragend, im Zentrum, alles Interessante (Altstadt, Hafen, Markt, Strand und Picasso) ist einfach zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Und geben eine 5* Empfehlung.

Booked a stay with several friends and their families. Had a great time with the pool and the boat dock but some things need to be improved.1. Couldn’t get into the house at check in. The code provided didn’t work. There is also a separate room and the code box only worked half the time so we had to find the lock box with the key. This is a Texas property but we were calling Tennessee to try and speak with someone about access issues2. There were no garbage bags at the house and the trash can was already overflowing when we got there3. The kitchen didn’t function. There are 2 microwaves but one didn’t work. The stove only allowed 2 burners to work at one time or it would shut down. The oven would randomly shut off during cooking. 4. Beds were not comfortable and most of the frames were squeaky.5. One of the bedrooms didn’t have lights that worked. We used closet lights to see at night, then found out the switch for the lamps was in a different room.6. The blinds didn’t work. There were so many switches but we couldn’t find the switch for the blinds to operate properly. Some also have a lot of dead bugs in them and need to be cleaned.7. It doesn’t mention that 3 of the rooms are connected and you have to go through the rooms to get to another. This wasn’t a big issue for us because we are so close, but it should be specified upon booking.We would probably stay here again if the kitchen issues were corrected, but this property may not work for everyone.

The home is large with a unique layout, and we're reworking the listing to make that clearer for future guests. The smart lock in the separate room does require Wi-Fi and can be impacted by the signal in that area, but we’ve added backup entry solutions to prevent future delays. We loved the house and the property. There were two problems however. First, the property right next door they were building a brand new house and all day long all we heard was hammering sawing workers yelling at each other and Hispanic music blaring from 8:00am until 6:00pm every day. We could not sleep in past 8:00. Secondly the little Island area/boat dock was lovely but the local geese loved it also and used it as their outhouse, so it smelled terrible down there. Im sure this is not a problem in the summer and once the construction is complete it will be a perfect retreat.
