Mini blinds in Living Room and Master Bedroom didn't close and need replacing. Carpet runner in kitchen slips a lot being hazardous. Living room carpet had big stains that need to be cleaned. Towel rack in downstairs bathroom were coming off the wall.Bath tub downstairs drains very slowly.

Great value for the space. Box fans provide were perfect for this time of year they helped with keeping the unit cool. The unit feels very homey. Host was very helpful, and responsive within minutes. Provided local recommendations which were great! Downside is all the stains on the carpet, maybe some gently used area rugs may help, also a few gently used pots and pans would make the space 10/10.

Great location. Unit was great considering the price. Right across from Eagle. Basic amenities. Unit gets great light and parking is covered. Our family of 5 easily fit. Would stay here again. Thanks for having us!

4.5* review.pros: easy and convenient keyless entry clean cozy affordable compare to other options near ski lifts (older building with little renovation justifies it, priced right)cons:- terrible mattresses, worse pillows- not enough silverware and plates (we had to do the dishes by hand after every meal for a party of 5) and pots/pans are insufficient (old or just lacking correct size no big pot for ex)Overall, besides the kitchen supply and the terrible mattresses and pillows, the property is pleasant and the communication with the property management company was pleasant and very responsive. Not sure I would rent again because of the mattresses and pillows,but otherwise, good option.

Large townhouse style apartment with lots of windows near Eagle Lodge but definitely felt budget and a bit neglected. Carpet in long need of changing. It must have been shampooed before we checked in but became visibly dirty on the 2nd day with obvious "trails" in heavy use areas, although we took off shoes and only wore socks during our 5 day stay. Poorly stocked kitchen with some small appliances from the 80's, if not 70's (like the blender and the slow cooker). No large or medium size pots. $20 coffee maker. The fridge was nice and new, and the electric stove was good. Some issues with cleaning and communication with the host (later corrected). Overall a no-frills but convenient place to stay, but not the one you desire to return to. A new carpet and a $500 investment in the kitchen would go a long way though. PS. Owner wouldn't give us any credit for staying one night less than original booking (asked in advance) , yet wouldn't allow a late check out, even by 1 hour.

Regarding the carpet, we did have it professionally shampooed prior to your arrival, so we were a little surprised to hear it felt unclean so quickly into your stay. We will continue to monitor its condition and make updates as needed. As for the kitchen appliances, we appreciate the feedback. Part of the charm of a mountain ski town home is that cozy, lived-in feel, but we will absolutely review the specific items mentioned to ensure everything is functional and up to standard. We're glad the cleaning and communication concerns were able to be resolved during your stay. On the topic of the credit and late checkout request, our cancellation and checkout policies are clearly outlined in the listing and acknowledged at the time of booking. We always recommend travel insurance to protect against any changes in plans. Additionally, during the busy ski season, back to back bookings make it very difficult to accommodate late checkouts, as we need adequate time to clean and inspect the home between guests. We had a great stay overall at the Grand Welcome Mammoth Lakes property. The location was very convenient and made it easy to get around and enjoy everything Mammoth has to offer. The home was clean, well-maintained, and had all the basic amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. Check-in and check-out were straightforward, and communication from the host was clear and timely. The space itself was comfortable and worked well for our group.

We had a wonderful stay in the unit. We've been staying at the Summit for 30+ years so the unit itself was as we expected. The upstairs bed did have a very stiff mattress but that's always part of the risk you take staying at a condo. Would stay again and found the host to be responsive and the check-in/check-out process was simple and straight forward.

This is a great condo for a family and super close to the slopes. My 3 and 5 year old easily walked to and from eagle lodge each day. I read from other reviews that the beds were uncomfortable, but we were very happy with firm beds! Communication was excellent and they updated the lock from other reviews so that it’s keyless. The high ceilings make it roomy, and we enjoyed the board games they had. The carpets are a little dated but honestly who cares. Put yourself in the owner’s shoes! It sure helps with keeping everything quiet! We never heard any people partying, and we were there for New Years. We spent 6 nights and couldn’t have asked for anything better! Would definitely book it again!

Spacious and well equipped condo suited our family well. The master bedroom is roomy. The loft and upstairs bedroom were perfect for our kids. High ceilings made the living room feel very open.

Nice place. Clean. but all the beds are rock hard and had 3 grown men trying to be the one to sleep on the couch. Also dont believe it listen that its up stairs and you only get 1 parking spot.

We've stayed in dozens of local units. So our expectations for a stay are realistic while based on a lot of experience. As a whole the unit is nice. But it has a lot of maintenance issues that need addressing. We provided a short list at checkin, and a detailed list at checkout. They attempted to address 2 issues and left the others for later.From the past reviews, many of these have been noted before and never addressed by the managing company.While we enjoyed our stay here, the likelihood of renting this unit again is very low.Issues included:1) Horrible beds. Master is hardest mattress slept on in 25 years of hotel and condo rentals. 2nd bedroom occupants ended up on the couch due to hard mattress.2) Lamps need work. Electrical short in the living room. Lamp falling apart in the master. 3) Inadequate cookware. Only 1 small pot and 2-3 frying pans to cook for 6 people. 4) Throw rugs need replacing. Edges are rolled and don't stay down so the rugs travel and bunch. Several family members tripped. 5) Dishwasher leaks water on floor6) Slow shower / tub drains7) Dining chairs are wobbly and a couple are about to fall apart.8) Loose door pulls and jacket hooks throughout When deferred maintenance starts affecting sleep (bed quality) and safety (shorting lights and floor rugs) then it’s a deal breaker for us. While management was polite, responses felt generic and insincere. I don't expect these issues to be a priority or actually be addressed.

This apartment was all around very good and I'd stay here again. Almost as close as you can get to Eagle lodge (unfortaunely Eagle was closed for the season when we were there ). The downstairs master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom that can be closed off from the rest of the living space - very nice if you are a couple staying with other friends. One complaint is the hot tub was not very clean, nor as hot as ideal, and we didn't see any place to adjust the temperature. The garbage disposal also did not work

This property is so conveniently located right next to the Eagle Lodge you just suite up walk right to the lift! This particular suite has plenty of room and is listed as having only 2 bedrooms however there is a loft with bunk beds so its like having 3. We had the best of times here, so peaceful and just amazing. If anything bring your own nonstick pan but besides that everything else is really well stocked. There are stairs from the parking garage however your right next to EAGLE! Its was a win for us!

Kitchen stove didn't work, kept shutting off or heat too high. Not induction so it wasn't wrong type of pans. Took over 1.5 hrs to cook 20-min dinner. No matching lids for any pans/pots, so used baking sheet? Knives so dull that oranges, veggies were torn and somewhat smashed. Wow, working in the kitchen became comical. I asked where we could find soap for sinks and shower. They were supposed to be in a"welcome kit," which was not on counter with other basics. When u arrive, it'll be bone chilling cold. There's a single wall heater in the back of the sofa area. We didn't know until last night that it has a thermostat on the wall at other side of room, near kitchen. Use it so u don't have to get up during night to adjust temp.

We stayed here as a family of 6 (2 adults, 4 school age kids) to ski. Property had plenty of space for us, both for sleeping and for eating/relaxing. Lots of hooks for hanging ski clothes, warm heaters and wood stove, fans in some of the rooms, decently stocked kitchen. Biggest suggestion is to upgrade the living room TV to a smart tv. Kids had to crowd onto the master bed to watch movies on Netflix on the master TV. Carpet is a bit dirty in some areas but that’s pretty standard for ski cabins. LOVED being able to walk to Eagle to ski each day. Would return if possible for future dates.

The room overall is very nice, but the quilt in the second-floor bedroom has a slight odor. I hope more thorough cleaning can be done in the future.
