Fireside at The Village | Near Hike/Bike!

Very Clean accommodating. I loved that we had all the essentials we needed to cook and eat with. Love that our kids were able to enjoy Netflix and us adults as well. Thankfully we packed an IRON for our formal wear, and used a little table with a towel over it as an ironing board. Everything was great, just those two minor details were needed. The kids were surprised to find an indoor pool and game room they enjoyed both. Location was wonderful. We also Loved that our vehicles were secured in an underground parking lot very safe and gave us peace of mind at night knowing our vehicle was safe. Very short walk from the Village and Mammoth Brewery was Amazing.

Reasonable price and perfect location for access to the resort as well as walking distance to restaurants, cafés, etc. Spacious condo with balcony, secure parking. The mattress probably needs replacing and there were no instructions on using the tv (living room seemed to be not working). An attempt to contact someone about the issue led nowhere.

This property was fantastic in so many ways. Location was ideal. Even the location of the unit! 1st floor very easy to get to and right next to the pool and jacuzzi lodge. The unit was clean and comfortable. Stocked with everything we needed. In all, a terrific sanctuary to return to after a day's adventures. The tricky part is all the different key codes—one for the garage, one for the entry to the building, one for the front door, and one for the pool lodge. It gets a little confusing. However, it was really nice not to have to deal with keys. Never could figure out how to use the TV—with the 4 or 5 different remotes sitting on a table. :)

Steven and Alex are great hosts. Friendly and responsive. This home is in a great location, It was so nice to walk to restaurants and bars without the hassle of finding parking. My boyfriend and I felt right at home. I would definitely book again :)

The unit was nice and located close to Mammoth Village. On the same day as our arrival we were notified that the Sling TV was not working, that it would be replaced and that the cable TV was still working. It was not working and the issue with the Sling was never resolved as indicated. There was not an iron in the unit, which caused an inconvenience as we had planned to have a nice dinner at an upscale restaurant but changed our plans. The screen door leading to the balcony was very difficult to open, it had to be pushed from the bottom of the screen each time so we were unable to use the balcony. The unit description said there were shared barbecues available however but there were none. Overall we didn't let these inconveniences spoil our trip and had a good time.

The place was nice but had inadequate parking. We had two cars for a place that sleeps 4 people, which meant we had to park the 2nd car off-site 10 minutes away. This made for a lot of transportation juggling back and forth. Only stay here if your group has one car. It was frustrating that I asked about the parking before arrival and the response was the second car could park at the office but there are only a few spots there. They didn't mention the office was off-site 10 min away. And didn't tell us the address of the parking office. Other than that the place was nice.

Everything about was excellent. I was staying for 5 days for work. The location was so perfect. Parking can be difficult for the village and the location is right there. Having a covered parking garage was a big perk since an unexpected snowstorm hit in mid April. ( which was lovely) The unit was clean. Kitchen stocked Logs and fire starters were ready to go I will stay again in my next trip!! Btw host was super responsive

We enjoyed our stay and found this property very comfortable and would certainly stay again. It was clean and well appointed. Our only issues were around finding the condo from the parking garage was a little difficult. Some directions like find the human sized door next to the garbage can to exit, then turn left and locate the building with your number. We also struggled with the older tvs since the required Sling remote was tucked away in the cabinet with not helpful remotes on the coffee table. Overall, though it was an excellent stay and I would book again. It was so close to the village gondola and walkable to many places for dinner.

The location is ideal, only about 2 min walk to village gondola. The photos do not do the place justice … it is spacious and modern with a large kitchen and large cozy private bedroom. The pool and jacuzzi are a short walk from front door and are indoors (needs updating but did the trick!). Communication with host was perfect. Check in was a little confusing as there weren’t clear instructions on how to find unit. Only complaint was the tv in living room is extremely outdated and did not work. Bedding needs to be completely replaced. Overall had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back!

Great spot right in the middle of the village. Perfect for a quick ski/snowboard holiday. FYI- you typically can’t park or check-in early (lots of back to back bookings) and it’s an additional fee to check out late. Not a big deal but important to note if you plan on skiing day of check in or check out. Only one car spot!

Near-perfect stay. Host was incredibly fast to respond even at 2am when we were trying to find the entrance in heavy snow. Place was more spacious than the pictures made it seem, had a huge sofa bed, and the garage was very easy to access. The location was right in the middle of the village with restaurants, bars, ski rentals, gondola to the slopes all less than a 3 min walk away. Everyone in the whole resort was super welcoming and friendly. Will almost certainly be returning :)

Great value for the location. In the village with easy access to canyon lodge via the gondola. The kitchen was fully furnished with more than expected appliances and kitchenware. Would love to stay here again

The location is centrally located in Mammoth with access to major restaurants and sops within walking distance. The facility was very clean and well kept. The only negative was the noisy stomping of people above us on the second floor in the evenings. Not sure if a curfew could be imposed.

This unit is at a great location in the heart of Mammoth Village, with bus stops directly to Mammoth Base Lodge when the village gondola is no longer running in the spring. Parking is simple and the unit was clean. Overall, I was very happy with the unit. My only complaint is that I had an issue with the TV and asked the owner if somebody could take a look. Despite a two week stay and a follow up request, nobody stopped by to take a look at the TV. At the end of the trip, we realized it was user error (the TV has two different power buttons that both have to be toggled), but it was a bit disappointing that nobody was sent to handle our request

Our stay began with the management company failing to give us the code to enter the garage. It took several phone calls to remedy this, as it took many phone calls to remedy all of the many problems with the unit. The management company customer service appears to be out of the USA, and thus its resolution reflected this. Everything electrical in the unit malfunctioned. The T.V. Cable, Wifi, and everything else is connected with a very fragile, overly complicated nigh mare of wires, with no instructions at all. There is no way to figure out how to use the T.V. , cable, phone system, or anything else. the Wifi was on and off. When I call the management company, they could not figure out how to fix anything. Besides the great location, the one high mark is the great kitchen. Other than that, you are led to believe that tis property is part of the Village at mammoth, it is not. It has covered, but not secured parking, that is not connected to the unit, we still had to walk a considerable distance to get to the unit, this is not disclosed. The bed is horribly soft, and uncomfortable. the couch in the living room is also very uncomfortable. There is virtually no water pressure in this unit. I have never seen such poor water pressure. Due to the location, I would stay here again, if the owners decided to put some money into the unit, and hired a different management company l

It's not glamorous or beautiful, but it's very nice and perfect for a father son ski trip. I wouldn't expect the most affordable place in the neighborhood to be perfect. I appreciate a little bit of corner cutting to keep the price down. Not that the place is dated. The kitchen is clearly new, and everything is in perfect working order. The walk to the gondola couldn't be any shorter, so the location was perfect for us. I appreciate that the checkout procedure is essentially just lockup and turn the heat down. Lots of places expect you to do the housekeeping you paid for.In short, it was exactly what we wanted.

Overall great stay - super close to the Village for rentals, food, child care and gondola. Very secure and warm parking. Only wish is that they allowed earlier check in - I was at the structure well before 4pm and saw the cleaning people leave the unit, but no one pinged me to inform me that I could get in early (even though they said they'd lmk if unit was accessible before 4pm).

Love location to village, underground parking, and well stocked condo. Condo was clean with recent upgrades. Close enough to walk to the gondola in our ski boots. And steps to the jacuzzi. Property management was very responsive. Thank you for having a humidifier!! Bring your ground coffee, not pods :) We really enjoyed our stay!

This place is in a great location, very close (about 100 steps) to the Village gondola, without paying for the premium price. Our unit was remodeled, very clean and with ample supplies, etc. As 10/11/24, they are remodeling other units, so keep in mind of that.
