We all enjoyed the house, plus the proximity of the beach and the seals. Although we were worried that the house was located close to Hiway 1 we never heard road noise and we had fantastic ocean views.

Lovely little house in a quiet location. Exactly as advertise. Excellent kitchen that was well stocked for a family. Easy walk to the beach or a playground. Short drive to town or Sea Ranch resort. Very comfortable and highly recommended for small groups or families.

Peaceful, quiet location, close to other Sea Ranch amenities, and just a five minute, gently sloped walk to a pristine sandy beach and miles of coastline trails. The house is beautiful, very clean, and has one of the best stocked kitchens of any Airbnb we’ve stayed in. It feels like the host, who was friendly and highly responsive, thought of everything, including things like a closet filled to the top with board games and puzzles, and a big basket of beach/pool towels in the primary bathroom. Highly recommend!

Shining Sea is a beautiful, well appointed home. The home has everything you need. The views and distance to the beach are amazing. This was our second stay in this home and we will likely return. The only drawback is the cost.. over $2500 for four nights is steep.

This house was a luxurious amount of space for our family of 5. The children enjoyed the nice view out of their bedrooms and the hot tub as well. The kitchen and the game closet were very well stocked. One unexpected thing was that the upstairs living space/kitchen got really warm. Had I known I would have packed more lighter clothes, but overall it was an awesome stay. The location/vicinity to the beach and the park worked out really well for us.

We have found our new favorite vacation spot / weekend getaway. I can’t express enough how much we absolutely enjoyed our long three night weekend together. Gorgeous home 👏👏👏 All the things! I mean ALL the things are there! I’m also in school so I set up my monitors and laptop and had the perfect study session and my fiancé had his perfect spot for building his legos while I study. We played games, watched movies! Built a fire! Cooked in the fabulous kitchen. Enjoyed the hot tub and we loved the five minute stroll down to the gorgeous beach. We saw the seals, deer right outside the house three times, bunny rabbits and even a coyote on the first night Beautiful sunsets. Views for days. My only recommendation would be a noon check out 10am is way too early Also we needed a pass to park down by the shore in the parking lot. We received a warning citation.

Our stay couldn't have been better. We were mostly impressed with the amply stocked kitchen. Mornings in the window seats with coffee and a book were the best. This was our second trip to Sea Ranch and we loved this house and it's location.

Annual trip with group of friends from high school. House was perfect for our group, and close to other rentals where friends stayed. Beautiful view of ocean from the top floor, and a short walk down to the beach. Can’t wait to come back.

This property is a gem! I hate to give it such a good review because then everyone will want to stay here. Shining Sea house is the cleanest, tidiest, most well stocked house we've ever been in (and we've been staying in SR for over 40 years)! The owners clearly care about this property and their guests because everything was in good working order and there are games, puzzles, books and movies to entertain if needed. But the views are spectacular and the location is prime (right in the middle of Sea Ranch and walking distance to our favorite beach AND the park)! We cannot say enough positive things about this place. We will definitely be back if its available!

We’ve been coming to Sea Ranch for close to 40 years now. We try to make it an annual trip for our growing family. We love the Shining Sea house. The house, itself is very accommodating and you can’t beat the location!! Walking distance to Shell Beach, One eyed Jacks, Walk On Beach & the tree tunnel❤️Just a short drive to other beaches & the stunning Sea Ranch Chapel. We’ve stayed at many other houses over the years, but this one is a favorite, with this being our third stay! Love it & the new hot tub was amazing👍

We've been visiting Sea Ranch for over 30 years and we love staying in different homes. This home is now one of our favorites. We loved the upstairs configuration with the kitchen so close to the living/dining area, so that the cook never felt separated from the rest of our group. It was convenient to have the bedrooms downstairs so that children with early bedtimes weren't disturbed by adults staying up later. Even though the home is located in the meadow, we had great ocean views from our upstairs windows. It rained quite a bit during our visit, but Sea Ranch has always been a great place to enjoy being cozy on rainy days!! We brought puzzles and games with us, but we appreciated the fully stocked game closet downstairs. I loved the gorgeous quilts throughout the house!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was stocked with anything you could need, from spices and kitchen gadgets to games and puzzles. The view of the ocean was beautiful and it was an easy walk to the beach. I would definitely come back.

This stay is a gem. We felt right at home in Sea Ranch with our two young kids. The set up was great for a family with all bedrooms on the lower level. The views were gorgeous and the neighborhood is amazing. The home was spotless but also cozy and homey with an incredibly well stocked kitchen, books, games, etc. 5 minute walk to the playground and the beach. What a magical place- we will be back!
