The condo was comfortable and clean. The location was perfect -- walkable to all amenities you might need -- grocery store, restaurants (both Italian and Mexican food to name a few), and buses to ski area. Morning walks were beautiful, and I felt very safe touring the neighborhood. The host was easily accessible. All and all, the stay was very enjoyable with no complaints.

Stayed here 3 nights for a quick ski trip. The condo was very nice and well-kept. It is perfect for a family of 4 but is a little small for 4 adults in my opinion. Location was great with grocery stores and restaurants within easy walking distance. Directly across the street is a stop for the Red line that will take you to the Main lodge for skiing or to the village for a nice night out. On the corner less than 2 minutes away is a stop for the green line that will take you to Eagle lodge which will get you to the slopes a little quicker. Basically once you are there you do not need your car for anything. The only negative thing I would say about it is that the bedroom window needs a black out curtain because the blinds don't keep the light out once the sun rises. Other than that, was very nice and I will definitely stay there again next time I visit.

Great location. Clean, cozy, centralized, and modern. There is a smell in the unit that was solved by using room spray and an issue with a door that was addressed. I enjoyed our short stay and would consider staying here in the future.

Great location. Comfortable for two people. Place is small but cozy. Walls are thin you can hear neighbors next door and above but wasn’t a huge issue. Complex was pretty quiet. Great wood burning fireplace! Renters only provide a small amount of firewood so keep that in mind. We had to buy a few extra bundles to get us through a few nights. Also noticed they didn’t have any fire place tools to handle the fire and wood. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

It was beautiful! There were only a few minor issues. The floor of the closet had debris. It appeared to have been missed in the cleanup. The couch was not comfortable for my boyfriend. A few pieces of furniture were lightweight. The walls and ceiling are thin so you hear could hear what was going on above & beside us but luckily it was nothing late into the night or early in the day. Overall it was a great stay!!!

Everything was clean, comfortable, and the space was very cozy. We saw a few reviews mention the footsteps from the above unit. This was slight and never an interupption. It's to be expected in a downstairs unit but nothing that would ruin your stay. We enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed. The only thing I would say would make the place better would be black out curtains in the bedroom. That's a personal preference and I would still highly recommend this space for your mammoth stay.

Nice spot to stay for a weekend or a couple of weeks if you have the time. Several walkable restaurants and shops. The crepes truck across the street was good! Nice space for 4 people. Kitchen had every you need and a nice dishwasher to boot. No need for paper plates or cups. The kitchen was well stocked. The main bedroom was spacious and clean with side tables for charging your devices and a big tv to watch if you don’t want to watch what’s on in the living room. A big closet and drawers for you to really unpack if you wanted. The bathroom was clean everything worked. Nice living room with a great couch for hanging with the family unit and watching some comedies which we used both nights! Will come back next year if available and I would recommend this space home for sure!

The place looks like it’s been remodeled and appears clean. We did find a lot of hair on the bedsheet which makes me think either it wasn’t replaced or the cleaning person was shedding hair. Heater wasn’t working that well in the living room so we had to use the portable one. When we turn both on, the power shut off and I had to flip the breaker. Upstairs neighbor was kind of loud walking and jumping around for most of the stay. Felt like I was in an apartment where you can hear pipes and talking. The place is super close to Vons and other restaurants, overall it’s not a bad stay.

Samatha’s place was just what we needed in Mammoth. Quiet, peaceful, and walkable. There was a food truck right across where we got great coffee daily, and everything else is nearby too. We drove to the mountain but the shuttle stopped close as well.

The place was very clean and had pretty much everything we needed! The hosts did an amazing job with providing check in / out details and were very responsive. The only thing we had an issue with was the people staying above us having a heavy foot late at night (11PM) and early in the morning (5:30AM). Although it’s not the hosts fault, it’s something to consider if you’re a light sleeper. Overall the location was great and we would recommend!

Our stay at Jackson's Alpine Retreat was great. The accommodations were exactly what we expected for the two of us. The bed was very comfortable. The rental was clean. TVs worked great. Parking although not assigned was very easy, we never had an issue finding a spot during the busy holiday weekend. We enjoyed the hot tub and saunas that were on the property (3 in total if you're curious). The redline shuttle picks up only a block away and drops you off pretty much in front of the property which was super convent for skiing. The condo is walking distance from several restaurants and only 2 blocks away from 2 grocery stores. All in all very walkable. We had a great stay and we'll look to stay here again next time we're in Mammoth!

Good place to stay. It was close to multiple shuttle stops which was great. The beds were comfy. The only thing I didn’t know until the day of check in was that the parking was first come first serve and was concerned I wouldn’t have a parking spot. Got lucky the couple of times that we left but just something to think about if you find a good parking spot then just don’t leave.

The location of the unit is great for accessing everything you need in Mammoth. Sadly we had a few issues which we raised with the host but didn’t get a response. The lock for the door is not as described so we had issues getting into the property and the emergency contact didn’t answer. The TV didn’t work and we were constantly asked to provide the same information and photos over 3 days without any resolution. The floors of the unit were very dirty which we noticed after the bottom of our feet and socks went black with dirt. If you are a sensitive sleeper we would recommend taking an eye mask as there is a bright light that flashes intermittently on an alarm in the bedroom which is reflected in the mirror so you cannot avoid it. Overall the unit has potential but the hosts need to listen to the feedback and rectify the issues, including improving their response times.
