3BR w/EV Charger & Ocean View, Near Shell Beach!

We had a great stay! Sea Ranch is always beautiful and this house provided a great home base. The beds and bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed the ocean views, record player/collection and small collection of books, toys, and puzzles for kids. We especially liked being walking distance to the beach, the playground, and surrounding trails and footpaths. We would certainly stay again, for any future trips to sea ranch.

Great house for a small family. Short walk to One Eyed Jack’s (Sea Ranch’s only playground). Flat street so kids can bike ride while parents hang out. Short walk to Shell Beach. Really enjoyed our stay here having been so dozens of Sea Ranch homes over the years.

We had a great two week stay here. Excellent location within The Sea Ranch community: quiet, one house away from the playground, not too far from Gualala, and walking distance to a family friendly beach and seal rookery. We spotted whales from the back porch. I will note that the third bedroom is in a detached casita and only has a half bath. I believe this is in the listing description but I wanted to call it out here because that could make a difference to some.

This was our first trip to Sea Ranch and we absolutely loved our stay. The house is tasteful and comfortable and the view is truly breathtaking. It's also right next to a playground and walking distance to Shell Beach, both enjoyed thoroughly by our kids. We would happily stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. It was immaculately clean, and was the perfect setting for a family getaway. We enjoyed the location immensely. Proximity to the seal rookery was amazing and we enjoyed our conversations with the docents. Strolls on Shell Beach with our morning coffee and afternoon hikes on the many trails throughout Sea Ranch were just what we needed. The sleeping accommodations were perfect. The setting very quiet very comfortable bed and very nice linens. We will definitely be back.

We had an absolutely wonderful time. The home was perfectly located, just a short walk to Shell Beach, Bluffs trail, and the playground. The kids had a great time riding there bikes around and exploring the beaches. Access to the pools and the tennis and pickleball courts was a great bonus. The home was well appointed, clean, and a super relaxing place to spend a few days. The bedrooms were a good size and very comfortable. The grill was also working well and very clean -- not always the case at AirBnB's! We will definitely be back!

This house was perfect for our family vacation. The location of the house was amazing as it is next to the playground and three different types of ocean access! We enjoyed the walking trails to the ocean as well as the tide pools, shell beach and the Sandy beach! The house had everything one would need for a perfect stay.

We loved our stay at Shell Beach Retreat. Sea Ranch is one of our favorite places in the world and it was lovely staying walking distance to shell beach. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen and the beautiful furniture/linens. They did a wonderful job of updating this home while maintaining some of the rustic charm. We really appreciated having a home that doesn’t allow pets as we have allergies and struggle to find pet-free rentals at times. We also appreciated the no shoe policy as it helps keep the home clean and welcoming. We had a few questions during our stay and they were answered promptly. Thank you for a beautiful end of summer trip. We loved seeing the deer and foxes. We will be back! PS we flew a kite over the female humpback who washed ashore this month to pay our respects. What a beautiful creature.

My family and I had a great time at this house in Sea Ranch. Check in was easy, the kitchen well stocked for cooking our meals, and we could easily walk to the beach, a cute playground for our child to play, and saw deer right in the backyard. We had some issues getting the hot tub turned on & locating the rec passes, but the owners were very responsive & helped us. Would stay here again!

Sea Ranch was gorgeous! The home was very clean and had everything we needed regarding amenities. The facilities for swimming and sauna were so nice! The trails were abundant and so beautiful! We had a wonderful family vacation there!

We’ve been taking a Memorial Day trip to Sea Ranch for 14 years. This is one of our favorite houses. Nice layout of the house. Well appointed kitchen. Great decks for looking out over the meadow and ocean. Beautiful garden and hot tub. Short walk to the beach and trail system. I’m looking forward to getting back ASAP.

Wonderful home with ocean view and sound of the waves! We really enjoyed a relaxing, sunny Easter weekend walking the bluffs trails, swimming and sauna at the community pool, and using the hot tub at the house. This was our first visit to Sea Ranch in over 20 years, and we can't wait to return!

Many amenities are offered in this unit, from a very well stocked kitchen to a what appears to be an awesome audio/video system with vinyl records and CDs. Furniture is comfortable and of a pleasing mid-century vibe. However, we did not actually use many of the amenities as we were consumed with soaking up the silence! The peace was golden! Good food is offered at the Sea Ranch lodge, and Gualala's Vue restaurant so we didn't need to cook either, except for toasting bagels and heating leftovers. It was a very pleasant getaway.

Beautiful home in great location. However, on the last night, at 1 am the low battery alarm on the smoke detector in the outside bedroom began going off. There was no way to stop it, as it was on the ceiling. It loudly chirped every 35 seconds for the rest of night. The two members of our party who were in that bedroom did not sleep the rest of the night. The next morning when they told me, I requested a partial refund from the host reflecting the fact that one of three bedrooms was unusable for one of our three nights, and that the guests in that room did not sleep. The host never responded to my request, but in mediation with Airbnb apparently said that because we did not tell them and give them an opportunity to fix (at 1 am on our last night, mind you!!), we were not entitled to any refund. An infuriating response reflecting poor customer service. This would likely never happen to you, but good for you to know how they can treat guests.
