The location was fantastic, with magnificent views, easy access to hiking trails, and just a short walk or drive to the lodge.Unfortunately, the property was not clean. The kitchen countertops and cabinets were sticky and dirty, and the downstairs bathrooms had not been cleaned thoroughly.The primary bedroom was spacious and well-equipped with a closet and dresser drawers. However, the other two bedrooms; one had no closet the other a nonfunctional closet, nor drawers, making it difficult to unpack or store clothing during our stay.One other thing worth mentioning was the excessive signage throughout the house. There seemed to be a laminated sign every few feet, most repeating the same two or three messages. It felt overwhelming, distracting, and ultimately counterproductive rather than helpful.

Beautiful home! Stayed here with a group of friends for the weekend and absolutely loved it. The rec center was a nice plus since there isn’t much to do in the immediate area. We had a minor issue with the dishwasher not working well.

We have been staying at Sea Ranch for over 25 years and stayed in many places along this beautiful coast. This house ranks among the best. It is very large ideal for bigger families. The views of the ocean are wonderful. Kitchen is well equipped. Overall, I would say this is a five star rental property.

The location is beautiful! Private outdoor spaces and plenty of room inside. Fairly clean, but noticed some cobwebs and marks on the walls. Very walkable to the bluff trail. The hot tub is a plus!

Beautiful home, well equipped kitchen, great location in Sea Ranch. They will nickel and dime you– we had fewer full size bath towels than people (only 7 people). We had three dishwasher pucks and five ill-fitting coffee filters for four days. Kind of silly given the relative cost of a costco dishwasher puck and our nightly rate!

I highly recommend this house for a family or friend gathering. There is a lot of space for hanging out as a group or you can find a private space for yourself. The house is right on the main bluff walk easily accessible to a beautiful black sand beach. The kitchen is well stocked and the grill was easily acccessible and worked.

Great property with tons of space. The living area was huge and open and afforded ocean views at every turn, while also offering different spaces for tv viewing, playing card games, dining, lounging, etc. We loved the spacious kitchen and appreciated that it was fully stocked with all the cooking paraphernalia we needed. The location was ideal, steps from the coastal trail and less than a 15 minute walk to The Sea Ranch Lodge.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The photos truly don’t do it justice, almost every window offers a stunning view. The house is very well appointed and thoughtfully equipped with everything you might need.The host was communicative and quick to respond, which was especially helpful during a brief power outage that lasted only a few hours.One feature we loved was the layout. There are two upstairs living rooms in addition to the downstairs living room, which made it easy for the kids to have their own space while the adults could relax separately.We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful location and home. Loved the wood hot tub and gazing at stars while hearing the sea. House was spotless and well equipped kitchen. Nice trails everywhere. Bit pricey, but probably going rate. Was a little irked with 10am check out and no option for later. Seems early, especially at that price. But was a nice splurge for us!

This was our 20th stay in a Sea Ranch house. This time for my 70th birthday. This is a very nice house with a wonderful common area and several alternative areas for separate activities. I would definitely return if the hot tub were functional.

We thoroughly enjoyed this spot. Beautiful, large home right on a bluff overlooking the ocean. Steps from the main hiking trail through Sea Ranch. Well stocked kitchen with fancy appliances, comfy beds in the three BR’s, barrel hot tub and sauna were a treat. Great dog-friendly space. A wonderful spot to curl up with a book. Space was very clean and tidy. My short wish list for this place would include a nice down/alternative comforter for the crisp nights and some nicer pillows! And I mostly only mention these because, well, Sea Ranch is expensive!

We stayed at this beautiful Sea Ranch home for 3 nights. We are a family of 6, myself and my husband, and our two adult daughters and their boyfriends, and our two Golden Retrievers. This place had space for everyone, it was very roomy. The kitchen was amazing, we cooked all our meals. They had everything we needed, nice pans, plenty of cooking supplies. I brought my favorites just in case, but they had it all. The beds were very comfortable, lots of extra blankets and pillows if needed. We sat around the fire pit every night and roasted marsh mellows, and told childhood stories. The walking path is to the left as you walk out of the front yard, and the access beach is only a 10 minute walk. We took our pups to the beach where they played ball for hours. In Gualala, we rented kayaks from River Bend Kayaks and canoes and floated down the river with our pups, it was beautiful, so fun and memorable funny moments. Overall, this home was perfect for our family!! It was a great trip!

Beautiful house in great location. A few things need attention to live up to the listing in full. The biggest one is that the house water began tasting of rust on our second morning. Smaller items that took some time to deal with included the grill not being clean and the ignition not working requiring removal of grill surface to light manually. Also the sound system in the downstairs living room was not working when the TV was on (three different people spent 20 minutes each trying to get it working). Grand welcome communicated a lot with us but was unable to address any of these issues.

This is an amazing spot in Sea Ranch. The house was beautiful and I really appreciated coming through the main gate into a well kept garden. I also enjoyed the hot tub and that both the house and the hot tub had a view of the ocean. I wish I could have stayed longer!

We loved our stay here. The host responded to every question quickly. The kitchen was well equipped. Views are great. Area was quiet. For reference we had 4 kids with us and cooked most meals for a week at home. The kitchen had great fridge and freezer space which helped out as we brought a lot of groceries with us for our stay. We will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful, sunlight home with majestic views to the ocean. Sauna and hot tub, radiant heating floors(!) and large, multiple living rooms and well appointed kitchen including multiple ovens and sinks, made for such a delightful experience. It could have benefited from a little more attention to detail in terms of maintenance of non-essentials, but a overall a wonderful time.

The location and view were fantastic, the home was large, well laid out and comfortable. I would say that the hot tub was more of a 2 person tub and it had a slime over all the wood. Recommend they upgrade the tub to match the beauty and capacity of the home. Note, they have checkin/out times of 4pm/10am ... so a bit tight vs other Sea Ranch properties. Other than that, a wonderful stay.

Beautiful, big house with lots of separate living spaces, good for multiple couples. Outdoor area was nice with a fence and fire pit. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were in good shape. Host communicated quickly. However we had a bad experience with the garbage pickup. The host requested we take the garbage and recycling to the curb Tuesday evening for Wednesday pickup, which I inquired about because most places in Sea Ranch have garbage services that take the garbage from a locked location so the animals don’t get in it. The animals got into the garbage Tuesday night so I spent the morning collecting the refuse that was littered across the entire street by the animals. The garbage was also not entirely my own, but was also from the previous renters. The garbage service then never came for pickup on Wednesday. The host responded quickly to my updates and reimbursed me $50 for my troubles. Given the per-night cost of the rental, I would recommend they get a proper garbage service.

The home and it’s location were perfect. If you’re looking for a spacious place to stay with your family and friends, I highly recommend this stay. With only a few feet from the trail, you quickly are able to take in the wonderful views of the Pacific Ocean. The amenities in the home were ample and everything was clean and worked perfectly. We stayed here as a 3 night family retreat--all adults + 1 infant. We are familiar with the area since we owned a house nearby years ago. Sea Ranch is beautiful and has not changed in 20 years, except for upgrades to the Lodge and related facilities, where we had a fantastic dinner one night and morning coffee and pastries a couple of the mornings. The house was clean and spacious, with tons of light and privacy from neighbors and the street. It's 100 yards to the ocean bluff, overlooking Black Point Beach, a great location for walks of any length. Cooking meals was easy, although we did not end up using the grill, but there's a gas grill close to the kitchen. Plenty of plates, pans, etc. Of note, this house is designed "upside down" compared to most two story houses: bedrooms downstairs on the first level, most shared living space and kitchen upstairs. The house is very light and airy feeling, and bedrooms are generously sized. We had a great stay!
