Hilton Head Hangout - 2 BDR Resort Condo by Beach!

The condo was great for our quick getaway. We loved that there were beach chairs and umbrellas as well as pickleball and tennis racquets. Complex was quiet and the walk to the beach was easy. Coffee maker was a little too small for our group but everything else was just what we needed.

We enjoyed the condo. The layout of the unit was great. The inside of the condo seemed much newer and more up to date than the building itself. Communication with the property manager, Grand Welcome Hilton Head Vacation Rentals would good. We did have an issue where the thermostat was restricted from going above 70 degrees. We were there during the last week in December and it was cold and rainy. We contacted Grand Welcome to find out why the thermostat wouldn't go any higher. After a few back-and-forth texts, they contacted the actual property owner, who, in turn, remotely raised the restriction on the smart thermostat to 72. Fortunately, 72 was enough to warm it up. It was off-putting to not be able to set the temperature to whatever I wanted, but at least Grand Welcome was able to intervene and get us 2 more degrees.

Clean condo, good location and mostly good communication with customer service. Love the amenities of Fiddler's Cove such as the pools, grills, clubhouse, security, and beach access. Improvements that could be made: 1. weekend responsiveness: our wifi was out all day Saturday and Sunday but no one was available to service it until Monday. 2. Beds were not very supportive, sunk in at the middle, creaky, and uncomfortable. Definitely time for new and better mattresses. 3. Beach umbrellas were provided but had no mechanism for digging them into the sand.Apprectiated the beach chairs, plenty of towels, cookware and dishes. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Great apartment- great location! A quick 10 minute walk to the beach. The kids loved both pools and they weren't ever too crowded. Everything was perfect. If I had to critique anything, the bed could have been more comfortable and the cooking pans could be updated. We would definitely stay there again!

Our family of five had a wonderful stay at this condo in Fiddler’s Cove. It was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing trip. The location was perfect—just 0.30 miles from the beach with a private access point that made it feel much less crowded, even during peak times. The Fiddler’s Cove community was also very pleasant, and everyone we met was kind and welcoming. We would absolutely stay here again!

We enjoyed our family beach trip at the Hangout. We have stayed here prior, the size and location work well for our family. We had an issue with the WiFi not working for some of our electronics this visit, the property owner was quick to respond with some suggestions but unfortunately we could never get it resolved not sure if it was an issue with the WiFi provider or the property. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return for another visit.

This property met our expectations. The beach was about a 5-minute walk away. We often chose the public path because of a fear of snakes. The private paths are more natural and warning signs are posted. The beach is spacious and the sand is soft. We used the large pool at the condo and had a fantastic time! It was only "crowded" once and it still felt like we had plenty of space. There were usually 10 or fewer people there and plenty of shade. As for the condo, it was very clean and comfortable. The couches were very comfortable. The mattresses were average. The kids really enjoyed the pickleball court. It was fantastic to have the sports equipment, beach chairs, coolers, and beach wagon available for use. The place is thoughtfully managed and stocked except for the kitchen. The cookware was cheap and scratched and the knives were dull. It's not up to our standards, but we understand the choice for a rental. We loved the Street Meet restaurant (ex-Clevelanders run it) and Paris Baguette nearby! We recommend this condo and would consider renting it again!

Great stay. Location was gated and just a short walk from a great beach area. Onsite pools were great- Including lap lanes. Property was well maintained and very clean. Backdoor was hard to lock, but other than that great place to stay would definitely recommend.

The condo was lovely and perfect for our weekend getaway at the beach with little ones. The place was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We were grateful for the beach buggy and beach chairs they had available. The location was nice as the walk to the beach was short and easy making it very doable with our young kids. Management was easy to contact and very attentive to our needs while we were there. All in all a great place to stay!

This property was just as described, clean and had everything we needed. It was just a short walk to the beach, and we love Folly Field beach. The management company was not the best, they did not have our parking pass ready when we arrived and we had to contact them a to request the pass and we had a cleaning team show up to clean the unit the first day after we arrived, they were headed into the property while one of us was in the shower. The management company did apologize for this mistake. So, good property, but less than stellar management.

We loved our stay. It was exactly as described. The beach was a very short and shaded walk from the property. The pools were spacious and nearby. The condo was stocked with everything we needed to make meals, do laundry, and also activities (we liked having the beach toys, chairs, and pickleball equipment in the unit). There was even a pack-n-play in the closet that was tremendously helpful for our baby. Having the second bedroom and bathroom was perfect for our two children. All beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again and again.

We spent February and the first week of March at Fiddler's Cove to escape the snow. The unit is completely as advertised - comfortable and well equipped for a long stay. Any issues were small (eg broken toaster) and quickly solved by the property managers who maintained excellent communication throughout our stay.
