Perfect location for our trip to Nashville!

Needs maintenance. The outside of the house needs a lot of work. The siding is falling off in areas. I'm not sure if painting the siding would work as it appears to be dry rotted. The backyard is in bad shape with a tree that is so overgrown it has branches reaching the ground and the shed is covered in kudzu. There is debris/junk scattered about. The inside is functional and for the most part clean. The Futon is covered in stains and the leather couch should have been replaced before now. The entry and exit doors do not seem secure, you can see light all around them and they don't lock tightly. Ants come in the back door. On the plus side lots of restaurants in walking distance and it is convenient to downtown. The appliances are all newer and work well.The choice of interior design is different. Like I said earlier it is functional.

Best pet friendly property while in Nashville. I’ve stayed multiple times here, it’s comfortable and in a safe neighborhood. My dogs love having the front yard and backyard. Grand Welcome hosts communication was great and quick response to anything I needed.

Perfect location in East Nashville, a short uber from Broadway and many local spots walking distance (including a gas station around the corner which came in handy). House was unique. I will admit, everyone in our group was very startled by the decor. There are many terrifying pictures on the wall and the place was quite creepy the first night. It did grow on us, but we were very confused with the artistic choices. Despite this, beds were comfy, bathrooms was clean, free coffee, great setup. Would choose this place again in a heartbeat.

Very cool property and location. Pet-friendly. Had some issues with ants in the bathroom, tub, and kitchen. Also struggled with water getting hot in the main shower and I am too tall to fit in the upstairs shower.

This house was a great place to stay with two 18 year old boys and my small dog. Lots of places walkable for shopping and dining. Great neighborhood. The back yard could use some upkeep - but the front yard was great for fenced in outdoors for my dog. There is no TV in the upstairs bedroom as an FYI. We were fine all camping out in the living room to watch our movies at night though. We would definitely stay here again!

Charming house and neighborhood. Sushi restaurant and local shops just blocks away. House was a virtual museum of books and music. Loved it.

the beds were comfortable but some of the decor of the home was very strange and some of the window coverings were missing or didn't fit. The back yard looked unkept but we enjoyed the front porch swing and rocking chairs. Some extra care, historic restoration, and maintenance of this home could make it beautiful!

Extremely easy check-in. There was a slight confusion on how to get the door unlocked but that was fixed within minutes of reaching out to the owner. The house was bigger than expected and quite immaculate. Excellent stay.

Property is in a great location. We enjoyed the record player and albums during our stay. We had a problem with one of the showers but the property manager responding quickly when notified and fixed issue. I would stay again in the future.

Centrally located Great little house. Perfect for our dogs as it was fenced in the front and in the backyardI love the historic house. Everything was clean and in perfect working order. All the necessary conveniences were provided.

The Purple House exceeded expectations. I felt like the inside was personally curated for me. The house is beautiful on the inside, and even though it has wooden floors and two stories, it is very quiet. Plus, the amenities inside are excellent. I loved the huge tub on the first floor! I also really appreciated the distance to spots in East Nashville. I know a lot of people want to go downtown and take in Broadway, but I appreciate the quieter, community-based feel of East Nashville. You’re only about three tenths of a mile from Five Points, which is tough to beat. All in all, I loved this spot, and I will stay here again if I can.

This home is in a great location. Not a far walk to Nissan Stadium and Broadway. Also, there are some great bars, restaurants, and little shops on a few blocks away. We felt very safe in this neighborhood. The property manager was kind enough to let us stay an extra hour on our last day. I would definitely recommend this home if you are interested in exploring Nashville. If you have the time and means to take an East Nashville food/walking tour, I would. It’s a great way to find a favorite restaurant or two to visit during your stay.

This is a beautiful house in the perfect neighborhood to stay in Nashville. Walkable to a very cool area and just a short drive to downtown. The house is lovely with high ceilings and pocket doors, comfortable beds and huge bathrooms. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at the purple house. We loved how quirky the property was decorated. The neighborhood was great with lots of cute shops and fun restaurants. The backyard could use a little work. Our dogs did enjoy it, but it could use a little cleaning up.

My girls and I plan a yearly trip with each other and this year we chose Nashville. We are so glad we also chose the Purple House to stay at. It had everything we needed and more. The house is beautiful and cozy. Communication was Excellent with the host. We loved it.

Great location, walkable to many restaurants & shops. Pictures online need to be updated. Fence was broken in back & had broken pieces up front, thus unable to let dog out. Yard not maintained & overgrown with trash littered throughout the front & back. Door knob to front of house needs to be replaced. Kitchen does not have all amenities as illustrated in pics-lacking pots & pans + filthy temporary blinds up in the kitchen. Broken bench in family room, don’t sit on it! Overall, location is the only thing going for this home in its current state.
