Rustic 4br Cabin Near Lake w/ Hot Tub!

We had a really good time at cabin, really great views! Had one small issue with the grill, reached out and they promptly got back to me and came and got it working. Would deffinitly use this company again and the house was wonderful

Location: This Lake Douglas Resort cabin is ideally situated for avoiding crowds. It is as secluded; however, if you are more interested in lake views, those were hard to come by. The lake is viewable from the deck but mature trees largely block the view. That said, it is a pretty view. Cleanliness: the cabin was fairly clean This is a rental cabin. I assume a cleaning company is contracted to clean between guests. They do the bare minimum. The bedsheets were clean and the floors were swept but the coffee mugs in the kitchen cabinets were dirty. Obviously the deck, deck furniture and cushions are not cleaned between guests. We enjoyed the deck but I would have enjoyed it more had a power washer been at my disposal. The floor in the guest bathroom is cut and stained in multiple places. There are ants (black ants not red) in that shower and no stopper in the bathtub. You will clean out the tub and tub walls every time you use the shower. There is a red stain of unknown origin on the carpet beside the guest bed. Most of the lightbulbs need replacing. The fan in the master bedroom runs VERY slowly and has only one lightbulb - the other three were not burned out, they were missing entirely. The rental price was very reasonable. The cookware is not usable and the gas grill is filthy. I found dirty cooking utensils under the cover of the grill. It is a good cabin but needs new cookware and a deep clean to be great.

This is a nice cabin up the hill from Douglas Lake. It would appear best for being close to a boat ramp to get on the lake. Just note that the cabin's driveway is steep and narrow. At the top there is parking for two cars, but it is pretty tight. The whole area is steep and not walking friendly. It is also 10 minutes to the main road and almost 15 to the nearest restaurant (other than Subway) or supermarket.The cabin itself sleeps 10 with bar seating for 4, an outdoor table for 4, and a card table in the loft. The cabin, while workable, is in need to refurbishment. One bathroom's floor has peeling linoleum and old fixtures. The other bathroom is in better shape. The A/C works great and there's a small view of the lake through the trees from the deck.The host (management company) was very responsive, answering our questions promptly.

There were a few hiccups but the host handled quickly. If you left any food out on counter even in packages, we had ants and the hot tub is very outdated; you cannot control the pressure. Main bedroom bed is like sleeping on a rock but other beds were perfect. Other than that the place was beautiful, location was peaceful and owners were very helpful. One side note, parking is good but it’s a steep climb, we had to bring our truck up and then turn around then bring other car up. Not an issue but beware it was tight to turn around but backing down was not something we were comfortable with.

The only issue we had was the sink has a spray hose that is not working correctly and it gets stuck so be careful or u will turn the kitchen faucet on and water will spray everywhere.. other then that it was a beautiful place we had the BEST time !

We wanted a peaceful digital detox retreat. We also wanted space for individual reflection and change of scenery. What we got was a private oasis with a lake view with serene sunrises, and glorious sunsets. We are very simple and basic people so we enjoyed the simplicity of a mountain cabin. The rooms were refreshed with just enough free amenities for our stay. The fridge and freezer were clean and ready for use. The stove shows its age and use but still does its job just fine. The bedrooms were good size with adequatley comfortable beds and decent bedding. Bathrooms were clean including toilet and shower. All flooring was comfortable to walk on without shoes. One bedroom had a small deck off it but the deck also seemed to attract bumblebees so it wasnt quite as peaceful and could have used a little freshing up especially the chairs. The grill worked as it was supposed to minus one burner that refused to light. I would definitely bring something to cook on top of the grates however as they have seen better days. Same for the kitchen wares, dated and scratched up, functional but you may wish to bring or purchase additional cooking items. Having said that it was well stocked with items from utensils to muffin tin, to saucepan. No kcup option for coffee pot which had also seen better days. The hot tub was a perfect temperature and quite clean and in a great spot for a relaxing sunset view! Overall wonderful time had! Can't wait to go back! Would def recommend!

Wonderful place to stay! Our friend group loved the view from the porch, the options on the TV, and room situation. There were six of us. Two males who took the two bedrooms on the first floor and four females who took the top floor (Bunk beds, sleeper couch, and queen). We loved the game table on the second floor as it was perfect for card and board games. Hot tub was great but a little dirty. Water was funny tasting but made perfect coffee. A couple things to note: - Bring what cookware/ bakeware you will definitely need. It had kitchen stuff but nothing documented to say exactly what beyond baseline expectations. (We brought and used cookie sheets and a 9x13) - They have books, movies, and games, some of which are in drawers in the coffee table and end table some are for kids, most are for adults. (Found most of this in search for a lost item on the last day so didn’t use at all) - The grill works but it might take some guesswork and a drip pan (we grilled twice and loved it)

I stayed for 7 days in The Treehouse Paradise and it was amazing. From check in to check out. The kitchen is fully stocked with all dishes and appliances you could ask for. It was clean homey and so very beautiful. The location is perfect for a quiet scenic vacation. I can’t wait to return.

Honestly the cabin wasn’t very clean, appeared to have been sitting idle for awhile. It rained during our stay to which we noticed previous water damage that has clearly been long term and has never been fixed such as the floors and the walls in the living area. Tears in the bathroom flooring making it a trip hazard, and broken hot tub cover. During the rain storm the power went out and there was a lack of any backup lights/candles/flashlights that could’ve been beneficial. The door to get in is also broke and hard to push open as it gets stuck every time. We also had a service dog to which they denied and demanded a $150 hidden fee, I paid because I’ve never had problems in the past. Overall not the best but not the worst I suppose. Staff was efficient in responding.

We stayed here for a week it was an awesome time. Very secluded , came with amenities and plenty of room and parking for everyone. The only complaints I have is the grill was out of propane and on its last leg so we couldn’t cook on it, and the only other thing was the hot tub was pretty dirty and a little confusing on how to configure the heat settings u wanted. Other than those two things I def recommend this place especially for the price. Host are very quick to respond and very understanding.

The house was clean and well maintained. Everyone enjoyed the amenities and there's plenty of room for people to spread out. Lake view was mostly blocked by thick trees, but it gives a remote feel that's still nice.

We stayed 4 days/3 nights at the cabin. The overall experience was decent. My main issue was that upon arrival, after a 10 hour car trip, we found that there was an issue with both showers. The shower in the master bathroom would not drain and the showerhead in the Hall Bathroom shot straight up through the connection instead of down at you... I communicated this to them and the following day they did send someone out but they only addressed the master shower, not the hall shower. We basically only had 1 shower for everyone. They did not offer any type of discounts or even a late checkout. Also, the outside furniture upstairs was basically covered in mildew. It hadn't been cleaned in some time. Other than that, it was a pretty good visit!

This cabin was extremely beautiful and spacious! For especially how large my family was, the cabin was able to accommodate everyone’s comfort! The view from the porch of the lake was absolutely stunning! As well as the drive up to the cabin with the mountain view in the distance. With how many rooms, beds, and amenities this cabin provided, it was a very great find for the area!

Wonderful little cabin about 30 minutes from Pigeon Forge. My family truly enjoyed their stay. The kitchenware was functional but older. Regular essentials provided and clear communication. The hot tub and pool were nice and have beautiful views. Maintenance wise, one of the steps on the stairs has a soft spot, and there were ants in the upstairs window. My son asked to go back as soon as we returned home. We did move some of the decor during the stay as it wasn’t baby friendly with my toddler but it wasn’t a major issue.

House was super nice, very secluded up on a hill, hot tub on porch was very nice! Only flaw was the house has a wrap around porch and the back French doors had no blinds or curtain to cover. So if someone walked up to the door they could see right in at any time. Other than that, this place is perfect for a couple or a family looking for a getaway to the Mountains!

I visited this place with my friends. Everyone had a good time. Host was very responsive and very flexible check in. The cabin was as described in the post. But the kitchen utensils were very dirty, we had to clean them before use. The balconies and porch area were very dusty, outdoor furniture has bird poops on them and we were not able enjoy sitting outside with the view after paying a very high cleaning charges. Altogether, we liked staying in the cabin and had a good time. We barbecued and had a lot of fun and brought back memories with us.

This stay was amazing we enjoyed our getaway at this cabin! It’s very spacious and comfortably fits a group stay. The hot tub and looking out at the view from the deck was our favorite part. The cabin is close to other cabins but felt secluded because it’s on a hill, in which we liked a lot. Communication was great with the host and gave clear instructions on getting there and getting into the cabin. The cabin was very clean, only thing the hot tub could’ve used a little more cleaning. Other than that everything was just fine. Would definitely recommend!
