Your Get Away in Ellijay - River Resort with Hot Tub!

Beautiful cabin with a quiet and peaceful surrounding. Didn't receive the check-in instructions and code until 4pm (our check-in time). Had a issue with the hot tub ( BAD rash on legs and feet immediately after getting out on the first day), informed host and they swore it was properly drained and cleaned before our arrival. We didn't get to enjoy the hot tub like we were hoping but made the best of it. The cabin was well stocked. Overall a beautiful cabin.

Beautifully situated within a community, requiring a 10 minute drive from the front gates. Charming layout. Beds comfortable, and nice hot tub and enjoyed making fires in fireplace. However, considering the amount we spent to enjoy this location, we were quite disappointed with the following issues: Barbecue was in poor condition, dirty surface and a bottom that was completely rotted out. Wi-Fi was not functioning, and it wasn't until 4 days after check in that we received assistance with this issue. Shower head in the master bathroom is loose and detaching from the wall. Wood burning fireplace had a mountain of soot indicating it had not been cleaned for an extended period. Furniture in that area is unclean! Ping pong table and pool table are in a bad state. Recliners are not functioning properly they are very difficult to close with a very abrupt opening. Television is rather small and is positioned very high relative to the seating area. Also arrived to dirty dishes and floors.

great for family, enough room to have privacy if needed. The entire family had a great time! Deer and Bears.. so exciting! Game room, hot tub and Elijay was wonderful

This cabin is fabulous. We loved seeing the wildlife. The deer would basically walk up to us. We would leave watermelon and cantaloupe rinds, and they would come right up and start eating. They almost started expecting it. This was the most beautiful place for our family just to have a little time to be still, and enjoy each other! The kids LOVED the hot tub, of course! We can’t wait to rent this property again!

The weekend was a wonderful experience! The view was fantastic. The cabin was spotless, spacious, comfortable and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Relaxing on either of the decks and in the hot tub was incredible. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessary utensils which made for easy meal prep.

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was at the end of a cul-de-sac and very private. We had everything we needed. You'll have to Google the location of the recreational center, as directions/map was not provided. Also, the Coosawatee River Resort area is quite the roller coaster maze! Be prepared for ups, downs, narrow streets, switchbacks, and lots of deer! The area was quite beautiful! Thanks!

Great place to stay if you are looking to get away and have some peace and quiet. Hosts were responsive. Hot tub was great. The cabin was clean. Only downsides were the game room (equipment in rough shape) and the only wood available under the covered porch was too damp to use.

We enjoyed our weekend trip with family to Ellijay. This house was the perfect fit for us. Plenty of beds and space to enjoy a nice weekend together. The Coosawattee River community is a beautiful place! Just wish the weather was prettier so we could have gotten outside a little more. We would definitely come back again.

The cabin has potential to be very nice but it needs some TLC. Someone should have come and inspected the cabin before we checked in as it did not appear to be all that clean. Bathrooms were ok but it just did not have the feeling it had been freshened up before we checked in. The kitchen is in desperate need of good cookware, toaster oven did not work, the refrigerator had not been cleaned and the freezer was dirty and ice was accumulating in a frost free appliance. The decks were full of spider webs with huge spiders in them. We had to call to ask for someone to come get them down so we could enjoy the outside. However the person who came out was the QC manager and he used a stick from the woods to get some of them down. They were everywhere. Around light fixtures, railings, chairs etc. he also sprayed some pest control spray. Unfortunately he wasn’t able to get to all of the webs. The screened in porch would have been nice to sit but the cushions were dirty, the furniture had spider webs all over it, the fireplace had not been swept-ashes were still in the grate and around the fireplace,the floor was full of leaves and dirt and the overhead light fixture was so dim because it was full of bugs and looked like it had not been cleaned for years. We didn’t use the hot tub because we were worried when the last time it was cleaned. The fire pit area was not cleaned and the chairs were filthy. The pictures on VRBO are awesome but the cabin does not live up to what you see.

This was an absolutely stunning property inside and out. We came for a birthday weekend for several family members, and were thrilled with our overall experience. The bedrooms had plenty of space and comfortable beds. The linens were fresh and smelled wonderful. Everyone loved the game room and spent hours together playing pool. The hot tub was well maintained and the perfect addition. There is a beautiful view from the deck and we loved spending time outside. We brought one dog and were excited to see pet bowls and toys available.The firepit area is perfect for a large group, and it was easy to pick up firewood at a nearby location. We noticed a small issue with a fridge leak that was immediately adressed by the owners/rental company. Their prompt communication was very much appreciated!The grill could probably be replaced, as the inside gas elements were worn and broken. Overall, it was still able to be used, it just took a bit longer to cook our food. If you're looking for a large place with plenty of space for family and friends, this is definitely the canin to rent! You can't beat the location, comfort, and communication of the company!

The place was AMAZING! Beautifully decorated, spacious, clean, and cozy! I would 100% stay here again and recommend it to others. We go to Ellijay every fall for obvious reasons! I will be keeping this booking in my records for our stays in the years to come! The downstairs area was absolutely perfect for little ones who need entertainment, as well as adults who enjoy playing pool, relaxing in the hot tub, or playing board games. The location of the property was very nice! Being the last house on the road gave tons of privacy and more nature to look upon. The leaves were changing beautifully and the massive windows made for a beautiful view. Definitely my favorite stay yet in Ellijay!

Brought our 3 kids and a friend each for some fun before school starts. This is our 3rd trip to the area but 1st stay in this house. Accommodations were exceptional, so special to have dog bowls for our pups. Plenty to do to please everyone. We will be back.

We stayed here for a family weekend and loved it! Close to apple orchards and perfect for a fall getaway. The lower level is perfect to entertain kids, and the view from the main level deck are gorgeous. We spent a lot of time in the screened in porch enjoying the fireplace. We were all amazed by how many deer we saw as well! We counted over 25 one morning - and several fawns. An overall lovely stay!

Over all the Cabin was on top of the Mountain and beautiful setting, In door and out. Outdoor fireplace was spectacular. Some problems arose with the Cooling & Heat on the Main Floor but these things happen and notto overshadow the overall experience of the Cabin and Location.
