The home was exactly what we needed. Nothing fancy. Very comfortable beds.It could use a little TLC on the exterior (weeding and door repaired/painted) to make a better first impression.

Lugar tranquilo. Ropa de cama limpia y blanca que a mí me importa mucho eso. Tiene cafetera es un plus importante. Me quedé para ir al Ark encounter y es a menos de 5 minutos.Tiene una cuesta para bajar al apartamento y luego tienes que subirla para ir al parqueo. A/C and Heater central. Necesitas rentar un carro porque no hay nada cerca y no estoy segura de que haya Uber. Los vecinos están lejos. Pero los de arriba se acuestan tarde y tienen niños. No le dije al anfitrión porque no me gusta molestar y entiendo que los niños brincan. Tiene 2 espacios para carros.Los cuartos, la cocina y la sala son espaciosos. Tiene lavadora y secadora adentro del apartamento. Tuve un problema para entrar pero el anfitrión contestó rápido y fue amable. Me quedaría otra vez.

My boyfriend and I stayed in Arkstone to have some private respite time while he was in town to see me and I wanted be close to The Ark Encounter experience so I could take him! Matt, is who I conversed with from the original booking a couple months ago to the rebooking that led to our stay last week! Upon entering Arkstone, it was cozy and welcoming! Little touches showed that heart went into the place and it was clean and accommodating. I had a few issues along the way with scheduling and our timing of arrival and checkout but it was all worked out with Matt’s help and overall our stay was great and we would return if we needed to stay in the area again! I recommend Arkstone Retreat!!! Great communication & stay!!!

Super cute, clean, and convenient location to The Ark and local restaurants (like the newly opened Mexican cuisine, Pepper’s)! I joked with Matt that the only thing we were missing was a full length mirror lol

We had a wonderful tonight’s day in Kentucky when we went to see the arc encounter. It was a lovely place to stay in perfect for the three of us. We had quick communication with the host and no problems. Highly recommend staying here.

The place itself was just as the pictures. Nice and clean comfortable customer service is wonderful. The only thing I would caution is that parking for no. 2 is in the parking area but to get to the entrance there is a sidewalk that goes down a hill and for those who are not steady on their feet there is no railing to hang on to. So maybe you might want to take that into consideration.

Clean apartment good location to the ark encounter. The bed in the back bedroom needs new mattress, uneven the bed frame may broken.the towel rack in the bathroom also needs to be replaced kept falling of the wall. Other than that it was a nice stay.

Housekeeping could have done better, but all in all it was fine. It was obvious that the cheapest materials and supplies were used. The dishwasher was broken when arrived. They did repair it quickly. The towel bar repeatedly fell off the wall and I could tell where another one had been glued onto the wall rather than secured properly. They had the bare minimum in dishes, but did not go above and beyond with anything. If I stayed here again, I would bring my own pillows (theirs were flimsy). It was a cheap place to stay and I got what I paid for. On a positive note, the water was good and hot, the internet was fast (very important) and the desk chair was very comfortable.

Great place. Beautiful views. The walkway to get to the front door is a little steep and the upstairs neighbor is at times a little loud but all in all a great, affordable stay.

The owners were very communicative. From the check in to checkout the information was very clear. The A/C unit went out during our stay but they got a technician out the next day and got it taken care of. They offered to bring fans if needed to keep us comfortable in the meantime.

Property as described. It was an ok stay for the price. We checked in ok and property management was quick to respond with any issues we had. We decided to stay here because of how close it was to the Ark Encounter because when you are done at the Ark, you are tired. When we got into town, we were hungry and there wasn’t anything open on a Sunday at 5pm so we drove to dollar General and picked up some snacks to eat. In the morning, you have to drive to get breakfast so keep that in mind. Beds were comfortable, we didn’t use the kitchen much except for coffee. If you are in town to see the Ark, this is as close as you can get. Don’t forget to check out the Creation museum which is 45 minutes north as well.

The location was great along with the ease of check in and check out! We also had a good experience with communication with the lender. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to give a good review due to the property smelling deeply of cigarette smoke. This caused us to stay only one of the two nights booked to avoid headaches from the smell embedded in the linens & throughout the property. We also had a family with many children staying in the property on the top level on the building that were very noisy. There seemed to be no sound barrier from top to bottom level and the noise was consistent throughout the night and late into the evening.

This cozy two-bedroom apartment provided the perfect setting for our getaway. The space was clean and had a warm and inviting atmosphere. The location was convenient for exploring the surrounding area, with easy access to local attractions (45 mins from Ohio easy state hopping). I highly recommend this charming apartment!

This facility was roomy and clean. The nice washer and dryer were a plus. There is a very steep walkway to access the entrance which was unexpected and a bit challenging with luggage. I had no major issues.

Stayed in March, was still chilly out..... property is in an area being revitalized......super close to everything.....was very clean......outside could use a little sprucing up......but overall was a nice place and was very close to everything. Would definitely stay again

The apartment was very clean, almost sterile - not a very warm atmosphere. A well-stocked kitchen as far as equipment, but not much else. 4 keurig cups for 2 people staying 2 nights. As for sleeping, there was nothing in the listing about one of the beds being cheap memory foam - very uncomfortable, sinking in immediately, making it difficult to roll over. Very loud residents upstairs with little to no sound insulation - we heard very step taken and 12:30 am returning to their apt. Long, steep ramp from parking to front door - thankfully not slippery when there was frost! When we had trouble getting the door open, they responded quickly via text - I'm confident they would have helped, but we finally realized that we had to pull back on the door before the lock disengaged. Had I read about the noise issue, I would not have booked the lower apartment.

Looked exactly like the photos on the listing! No surprises. Everything was clean. It’s in a small town but we felt very safe. The sidewalk to the entrance is very steep and would be difficult for wheelchairs/people with difficulty balancing or walking.

We had a lovely stay here and enjoyed being so close to the Ark museum which we went to three times. It was nice to come ‘home’ and not take long to get there and put our feet up in the comfy warm rooms. We were thankful for a washing machine and dryer too. Hosts were quick to make sure everything was ok and if we needed anything. Thankyou so much!
