Description

The private dock is an ideal spot to take a refreshing dip in the cooling waters, or sit back, relax, and drop in a fishing line in hopes of catching the evening’s dinner. A large deck providing plenty of outdoor seating options will put you at peace whether catching up on some reading or enjoying a meal or two al fresco. The home is also conveniently located just a few minutes from Mooresville city, where you’ll find an abundance of shopping, dining, and entertainment. With so much to do and see in this outdoor-centric area, you’ll be delighted to return to a quiet, relaxing space at the end of a long day, and Dragonfly Cove is that and so much more.

Each of the two homes on this property has its own living room with comfortable sofa seating and smart TVs, either space suitable for hosting a group game night or individual movie screenings. There’ll be no reason to argue over what to watch! Enjoy mealtime together in the main home with indoor and outdoor dining seating for a combined 12. Each home also includes its own kitchen, fully equipped with all standard appliances, dual drip and Keurig coffee makers, cookware, and dinnerware for both light hors d’oeuvres and large dinners. Of course, the area also offers plenty of options for trying takeout from one of the many delicious local restaurants. No matter your appetite, these kitchens can accommodate it all.

Feeling competitive? The converted garage contains an energetic game room with ping pong, foosball, smart TV, and sofa seating. Turn on the big game, pour an afternoon cocktail or two, and enjoy endless hours of fun battling it out with one another.

This home comfortably sleeps 10 guests between 4 private bedrooms and 2 queen size sofa sleepers. The main home contains 3 bedrooms and a sleeper sofa, and the detached home contains 1 bedroom and sleeper sofa.

Bedroom #1 includes a king size bed, smart TV, and ensuite bathroom with a shower/tub combo.

Bedroom #2 includes 1 full size bed and 1 twin size bed in a bunk format.

Bedroom #3 includes a queen size bed and a smart TV.

Bedroom #4 includes a king size bed, smart TV, and ensuite bathroom with a shower/tub combo.

The home also includes 1 additional full guest bathroom with a shower/tub combo as well as a half bathroom.

- Washer and dryer in each home.
- Driveway parking is available for up to 6 vehicles.

Located 20 miles north of Charlotte, Lake Norman is the perfect place for a quick trip or small getaway any time of the year. Beautiful home in a great location. The house was very clean, comfortable, and the neighborhood was peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay in Morrisville and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

This property was very clean and for the most part very well equipped. The location was excellent, close to downtown, but in a beautiful serene area away from town on the lake. The main house is very cozy with a fantastic deck overlooking the cove. We saw deer stroll through several times which was just beautiful. The secondary guest home was fantastic for my oldest brother and his wife. Even though they were in their 80’s it was perfect for them to have a beautiful quiet retreat that had everything they needed. The kitchen was extremely well equipped like the main house. The game room below the quest home was awesome! We really enjoyed playing ping pong, darts and foosball. The only suggestion I would make is that the management supply the home with more toilet paper and paper-towels which we expected for the cost of the rental. Because there was 6 adults in the main house and 2 in guest house we had to leave for toilet paper and paper towel run into town. The management company, Grand Welcome was very easy to communicate with and were very responsive if we had any questions. If you are looking for a cozy, quiet, clean and relaxing lake home this is a perfect spot!

We had a great stay! The house was exactly as described, very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our trip. The location was peaceful and made for a relaxing getaway. Communication with the host was easy, and they were responsive whenever we had a question. Even though there was an unexpected power outage during part of our stay, the host handled everything professionally and kept us informed. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

The communication was not good. There's multiple people responding and giving different information. If you are wanting to rent a boat do it on your own as they were all over the place. Check in was fine. But there was no soap/ someone filled the empty bottle with water to make it appear to be full of soap, only 1/2 a roll of toilet paper and 1 trash bag. So be prepared to spend money on the essentials. The game room the games are worn and not as nice as the photo made them to be. But in the trailer where the 3 bedrooms and 2 baths are there are board games which was fun. The dock is very steep so anyone with knee issues please be VERY carful. The kitchen did come with everything we needed to cook and the grill worked.

Our group really enjoyed the property for our annual guys lake trip. It is very rustic, and not everything is perfectly polished, but it adds to the scenery and nature environment. Loved having two separate spaces for sleeping/hanging out. The garage area was very useful. Great dock for enjoying the water. Hosts were welcoming and very easy to communicate with. This place accommodated my family of 13 including 2 kids. There’s actually 2 separate houses, the main house with all the bedrooms and the other smaller house with 1 bedroom, a kitchen, living room and the garage with games (we loved spending our time here playing pingpong, foosball and darts!) We had an overall good stay here. We were expecting a house, but this location was more like a trailer with a nice garage attached. Interesting set-up. Management was very corporate and the 4pm check in and 10am check out was a little too strict for my taste. Cleanliness was good, although we found a couple of things left over by the last guests. The place has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Price was extremely high, so we expected a nice house for that price.

If you want to visit the mountains without the travel, THIS is the place to stay!! You will feel like you’re in the woods of Asheville staying here. We had a great stay. The place was well stocked. Beautiful out door deck, and we had taken our pontoon boat and the dock was perfect. Grandkids also enjoyed fishing off the dock. We would stay there again.

Nice property, easy access to lake and very close to everything. Lots of room to spread out. Cute 2nd house great for multifamily or extra guests. We came down to watch our nieces graduate high school and figured this was the best place to stay. The grandparents had the quiet one bedroom house and the siblings and grandkids shared the detached three bedroom house. Everyone had plenty of space to stretch out and relax. The property was clean, beautiful and situated on a very quiet cul de sac. It had a game room in the garage which we all enjoyed tremendously. This house met all of our needs and would rent again! We chose this property because it worked perfectly for both my family and my sister’s family who decided to meet in the middle of our two locations for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. With two kitchens, there was ample cookware and appliances for the meal prep, while the kids entertained themselves in the playroom garage. The number of bedrooms and bathrooms were great to accommodate our two families of four each. However, I will mention that the water supply wasn’t sufficient for the demand, as we noticed a drop in pressure each time it was used at the same time. Even though we understood there were two houses on the property, it wasn’t clear which was the main house initially. This could be made a little clearer.

This property was fantastic, and Grand Welcome was responsive to questions. We shared this property with another family while in Mooresville for a lacrosse tournament. There were 4 adults and 5 kids, and the bedrooms and layout were perfect. I loved that there were two king suites, and plenty of beds and space for the kids. The game room area was great for hanging out after the game, and kids and adults had fun playing foosball, ping pong and darts. We brought a kayak and a paddle board and launching into Lake Norman from the private dock was easy and the lake was beautiful. The outdoor deck overlooking the lake had fantastic views and we enjoyed eating dinner outside. We had great weather and spent most of our time outdoors. The homes (also loved that there were two buildings on property) and kitchens were well-appointed with everything we needed, and plenty of extra pillows and blankets. We would definitely stay again in the future!
