We booked this stay as a peaceful retreat to celebrate our anniversary, and it was exactly the R&R we were hoping for. The property is absolutely beautiful! Quiet, serene, and thoughtfully designed with everything we needed. There were so many lovely spots to enjoy morning coffee and just reflect together. The location is perfect, and our host was kind and incredibly flexible when we needed to reschedule due to a family emergency. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!

This home is beautiful & we had a wonderful stay! The home was spotless, linens were very clean, beds were comfy and the host was very responsive. The only thing worth noting is the beds are below the common areas. While in the bedrooms foot steps were loud so if you’re a light sleeper the house layout may not be ideal.

This is a beautiful, zen like home. The gardens were just fabulous- we spent a majority of our time out in the covered back porch around all the plants and in the cool breeze. Great spot to have as a home base to explore the other towns nearby and to visit a different beach each day. Parking near the beaches was no problem and free and all the beaches are public which seems rare compared to the East coast. All the bedrooms are spread out to offer lots of privacy and with the bedrooms on the first floor it stayed cool while we slept. We opened windows during the day so the upstairs stayed cooler with the breeze. Management team was responsive to any request and was always responding within 10 minutes. Great stay!

Loved this place. Traveled with my young kids and they had a blast. Perfect place for privacy and easy to get to the beach and great food. Would stay here again.

What an incredible stay! This property in Encinitas completely exceeded our expectations. The home is spacious, beautifully maintained, and offers total privacy — perfect for a relaxing getaway. We had a wonderful stay! The host was incredibly thoughtful and accommodating—always quick to respond and genuinely helpful when any issues came up. The house itself was spacious, peaceful, and perfect for our big family and friends to relax and enjoy time together. The layout gave everyone plenty of room, and the vibe was calm and welcoming. The location in Encinitas was ideal—close to everything but still felt like a private retreat. Highly recommend this home and host for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

It was such a wonderful experience for me to stay at this house with my friends. The host is so kind and listened to our needs and welcome us. The house is gorgeous and so ZEN. it is very spacious and our retreat was such a great success! I have already booked this place for my next gathering. This is a hidden gem yet close to Leucadia fancy restaurants. I highly recommend this house for those who wants to stay with spacious zen house.

The house is well maintained and beautiful. Very serene surroundings and environment. The kitchen was well equipped with all the tools I needed to prepare a proper Christmas dinner for our family. I highly recommend this spot.

Home is spacious & very clean. Room to spread out & a big dining room for large meals. Beds are comfortable! All BDRs are downstairs & one requires navigation of a labyrinth to find. Slight smell of mildew in lower level (but not upper) that we conquered with a room spray. Beautiful outdoor space, including a funky upper deck (spiral staircase so not for the very young or old) with ocean views. Note: we first booked a different AirBnb but were offered this one when the other home was sold. AirBnB considers the move an upgrade but tbh it is probably not a home we would choose again. Host was great though! Our stay got off to a rough start because supplies were missing (no oven mitts or dish towels in the kitchen and the corkscrew was MIA). The oven was also broken. GWCO went above and beyond & delivered us supplies promptly. They also sent over games — I was very impressed by their follow-up. So while the home wasn't a great fit for us, I would happily book with GWCO again!

This Airbnb home was a truly amazing place to stay at -- especially suited to extended families or small groups of friends. The home has a very spacious common area and the bedrooms were also very good sized. The home is perfect for indoor-outdoor living, with plenty of natural lighting, and patios or balconies on all sides of the common space and off the bedrooms. The decor, furniture and fixtures are of superior taste and quality. The location is perfect for exploring the San Diego county beach communities, the city and beyond. I highly recommend this home!

This is a lovely place to stay. Great outdoor spaces, including a meditation garden with fountain and a balcony for two. Generously sized bedrooms with comfy beds, large living room area that was a great conversation spot, and very well-equipped kitchen. A lot more room than we needed for five adults, but the extra space was appreciated. Host was very responsive, gave us some good ideas for restaurants and beaches. The mile walk to the beach is accurate and a pleasant trip. Definitely a great Encinitas house and location.

Very private home. 10 minutes to Cardiff State beach. 5 minutes to The Taco Stand. Very clean. All bedrooms on first floor. Big open upstairs with nice kitchen. Nice deck area.

Very spacious with lovely patio areas. Comfortable beds and furnishings. Quiet neighborhood. More than enough room for our group of 7 adults. House is best suited for two sets of adults in the master suites with children in the bedrooms sharing the Jack and Jill bath. One of those bedrooms had no place to hang clothes in the closet, only shelves, and no bedside tables and lamps We also would have liked a few more towel racks in the bathrooms. WiFi didn’t reach the two back bedroom suites though fine in other rooms of the house. Dishwasher worked but isn’t properly secured under the counter.

Our family of 3 stayed for ECNL Playoffs and invited another player and her mother to stay with us. The house was much larger than we expected and had several pleasant patios. It was very quiet and had spaces for everyone to relax. The bedrooms are all downstairs but the entire first floor smelled of mildew. We weren't sure if the mildew smell emanated from the washing machine or something in the housekeeping closet. There were dehumidifying things around the first floor, so perhaps this is an ongoing issue in a house of a coastal town. The master bedroom memory foam mattress was too soft and sagged on one side. Upstairs seemed more updated and didn't smell of mildew, though not all the stove burners worked at the same time. We ended up ordering take out and going out to eat due to the stove. The contact person was responsive but there wasn't anything to be done during our 3 night stay. If the mildew odor issue was addressed, we would definitely stay again.

Was very pleasantly surprised with the neighborhood and the home, which is perfect for a family gathering of three generations like ours on the occasion of a promotion to HS of one of our grandchildren. The neighborhood vibe is so much like ours in a seaside community in Santa Cruz County. We loved the crow’s nest, oversized bedrooms, open kitchen, oversized living area and the privacy afforded by trees/shrubs bordering the property. Will return as often as we can. Customer service was impeccable. Thanks for a memorable stay!!!

We spent a fabulous week at this spacious and wonderful home! The house is just like it's advertised. The town of Encinitas is so cute and it's just a few shorts minutes to the beach. The house is well stocked, so it makes making meals at home so much easier. And they had beach accessories available as well. One big take away I hope they do, is the house is in desperate need of hooks in all the bathrooms. Since the house is so close to the beach, the rooms can feel damp, which doesn't help in drying towels after showering, so it was a bit frustrating when there was no place to hang anything - from hand towels to larger hooks for the larger bath towels. A cheap fix for a huge improvement. But, we would definitely rent this house again. We had the best time!
