Newport Pier Retreat | Walk to Beach & Dining

This home was a great fit for our family considering we were on vacation. We traveled with our three small children and they were able to access all the rooms in the home (they do have stairs but that wasn’t an issue for us). We were in walking distance of the beach and local shops. We recommend the donut shop that’s on the beach. Kids loved walking there in the morning. The home was perfect. Very clean. Very spacious. Loved the washer and dryer onsite.

Absolutely beautiful home we stayed in for a vacation, From first booking the team especially Katrina was so helpful , nothing was too much We had an amazing time lots to do places to eat everything was at hand definitely be back again thanks so much x

This place was great.. right in the heart of Balboa Peninsula, with tons of restaurants, great access to the beach. it was a nice place, and the host was responsive and helpful. Would stay here again :)

The location and size/layout of this unit were great (although if you have any mobility issues I wouldn't recommend) and worth what we paid. It was a few hundred dollars less expensive than the average of other places around us. It did have some areas of cleanliness issues, housekeeping not being fully completed, common items (like paper towels) not being stocked and the home in general definitely needing some touch up tlc which was mentioned in several other reviews. It very much needs a refresh on paint in several areas, drawers/cupboards have seen better days, etc. The beds were comfy as were the sofas and beds/bedrooms were plentiful for a larger group or family. And you could somewhat see the ocean from the top balcony. Communication was ok but texts/responses came from at least 3 different phone numbers so I think some messages were overlooked. Overall it was a decent stay and I may stay again just knowing with the affordability of the unit I'm getting what I paid for.

The house was great! There was a small issue with not knowing a gate code, but they responded pretty quickly to fix the issue. The area was beautiful, a hidden gem if you ask me. I loved that they provided detergent pods, I usually bring my own but forgot this time. The beds were extremely comfortable. I loved being able to walk wherever we wanted to go. They even had coolers, beach chairs and umbrellas to borrow!

The place is great due to its location and i loved how spacious it was but for this amount of money I'd expect the floors to be clean, the walls not scratched from the beds being pushed into the wall, it's just unaesthetic, and there was water leaking around all bathroom faucets (i could not put my things on the counter when washing because they all got wet). Other than that the beds are comfortable and the place is nice. I'd probably return :).

although some small areas had damage like small door handle holes in walls, bedframe marks in some of the bedrooms, some windows missing screens and one window not being able to close, the house has an amazing layout and is able to accommodate 8 guests in beds and 2 more in a pullout couch downstairs. and it was perfect for me and my family. I will note also that spiders were fairly common during my stay and the master bathroom shower was not draining properly while the water was running. other than these very small things I loved the parking and location and will definitely stay here again.

5 stars!! I highly recommend this beautiful Airbnb! It was everything described in the description and more! We absolutely loved the three level living with the kitchen up on the third floor with gorgeous views. We were pleasantly surprised that we could see the ocean! The place was spotless and we enjoyed our lovely views! The Airbnb was convenient to everything and only a couple minutes walk to the ocean! We can’t wait to go back here again! We go to Newport Beach a couple times a year and this was our favorite place ever! Five stars all the way! Thank you for an amazing time in your beautiful home:)!!!

Wow what an amazing stay!! This Airbnb was stunning, exactly as pictured and everything was super clean. Comfy furniture, plenty of linens and a well stocked kitchen that had everything we needed to cook meals. The accommodations had everything you could think of for a fun time at the beach and the location was perfect, just steps away to the beach and ocean. We enjoyed our stay so much we decided to extend another day and hope to return soon.

I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb in Newport! The location was absolutely perfect—just a short walk to everything, including great restaurants, shops, and the beach. The house itself was beautiful, clean, and well-maintained, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. One thing to note is that the home is three stories, which wasn’t an issue for us but might be something to consider for those who prefer fewer stairs. That said, the layout made it feel spacious, and each floor had its own charm. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. I’d definitely book again!

We stayed for a week and a half and felt right at home. There are a ton of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a place in Newport Beach.

Really enjoyed this place. I like to be by the Pier so it was super walkable. Place was better than the pictures showed. Awesome having two balconies. Worth noting is it's 3 stories and the kitchen is on the third floor. Wasn't a problem for us but was actually nice being higher up for the kitchen and living room so you could see the ocean. Great place all around, definitely plan on coming back.

Really nice, centrally located spot. Beds for plenty of people, a nice living room, serviceable kitchen. Loved the patio, which had nice sunset views. Only real downsides are a little small (we had 7 people though), and not incredibly well decorated (feels like an Airbnb, but it is, so…). Would recommend.

Location could not be beat & beds very comfortable. Minor housekeeping - didn’t look like master sink was cleaned, baseboards could use a coat of paint - scratched and dirty. No ice and light bulbs out. All in all a great stay.

We had a great experience. Plenty of space. Sometimes when a listing says “sleeps 8”, it is really 5 or 6. Sometimes pictures lie. Not in this case. It was as advertised. We definitely recommend this property.

Ample room for family of five. Lots of stairs. Inconvenient that there isn’t a bathroom located in the living area. Area is walkable and has plenty of dining options. It’s a little noisy, trash pickup, sirens and loud people coming home from a night out. We enjoy our 5 night stay.

This place is great - easy access to the beach and restaurants, easy parking, great amenities (washer/dryer, dishwasher, etc.). The only annoyances are:1. It's a little hard to find. Google takes you to the street-front, but you have to come around the side to find the garage2. It's vertical. If you struggle with stairs, it's a bad fit3. The icemaker in the fridge doesn't work. It's not a huge deal, but it's annoying. Great spot!

The check-in process was super clear and easy!! The property could use some updates and 3 levels of living is intense but I would absolutely stay again because of the hospitality of the hosts and the space afforded!
