Great location, responsive hosts. Beautiful back garden. Comfortable beds. Quiet location. Plenty of available street parking. Walking distance to great coffee spots and lunch/dinner. Home feels a little dated overall-- bathrooms could use some TLC, towels old and mismatched. Shower drain plug broken upstairs. One whole room and a kitchen cabinet are locked (a little odd). There is a backyard neighbor above the garage- quiet but unexpected (maybe we missed it in the listing). Garage doors dated, open outwards (unexpected). Garage was too short for our car also (Kia Carnival). Not ideal for babies/elderly with uneven front steps, bottom stair of inner staircase not carpeted like the rest of the staircase (hard to see) and open steps in entry.

Kari and michael were very responsive regarding any request as well as when there were problems with the locking mechanism. Changing the battery worked several times though it failed again. They promised to install a new lock. They are very nice and helpful. The home is in a great area for us to visit family. Beautiful outdoor patio. Definitely would consider this home again

This home is quite large with a spacious office and stand-alone dining room in addition to normal living room and tv room spaces. The three bedrooms are all quite large as well. The backyard is a calm and lovely place. The decor and appliances are somewhat dated, but everything was fully functional. The neighborhood around the house was pleasant to walk around and a walk to the beach only took ~5-10 minutes.

Wonderful home with plenty of space. Host was very responsive. Had an issue with an inoperable microwave and they sent someone out quickly to check on it. Sadly it needed replacing and wasn’t replaced until the day before our departure. Neighborhood is super cute and felt really safe. Backyard was a gorgeous little oasis. The only downside, property states it’s pet free… myself and several in our party kept smelling pet odors.

This is a great rental, with a lot of space for larger groups. It was well stocked with all essentials for a week stay. The hosts are responsive and accomodating, we really appreciated noon late check out and an hour early check in. The location is great, 10 minutes walk to beach, and close to grocery stores and cafes. The neughborhood is beautiful and safe. We highly recommend this rental.

We absolutely loved our stay. The home is in an excellent location, walking distance to the beach and wonderful restaurants and shops. The backyard was a beautiful peaceful retreat. We felt like the house was even more spacious than the pictures give it credit for. The hosts were very responsive. We thought one day that the water heater wasn’t working. (It turned out that we just hadn’t waited long enough and we did not have any issues with this going forward). But the host came over to the house within an hour to help us. We genuinely only have positive things to say about our experience and would 100% stay here again if we make another trip down to Long Beach!

Listed 5 beds but one was a pull out couch in the office that was far from an actual bed. Just wish the comfort in the mattress was better. Ended up buying an air mattress that was much better quality than the pull out bed.

I'm not a huge fan of Sofa Beds myself, but they work in a pinch for large parties. Sorry it did not meet your expectation.

My friends and I had a wonderful time at the Grand Welcome Long Beach. The location was as described, in a safe and peaceful area and spacious enough for our group. That said, we do have some minor feedback. Firstly, the ac took almost a full day to kick in fully, resulting in a very hot first night stay. The house itself was quite dated with old carpets, stained sheets and mold in bathrooms. Also, the tv room had nothing but a dvd player and only one dvd of someone named “floris” 55th birthday (hbd flori lol). We wound up accidentally leaving a chrome cast so hopefully the next guest has more tv options than we had. Having access to a grill would have enhanced the backyard experience. While we enjoyed our time outside, we ultimately had to go buy citronella candles and bug spray because there were so many mosquitos. We would definitely stay here again but some minor enhancements would go a long way.

This home is very spacious and can accommodate a large family, which is what I was looking for — hard to find in this area. The backyard is very pleasant and enjoyable. The location is great, within walking distance to the ocean and many restaurants. But the home itself needs a lot of updating. The carpet is very dirty and needs replacing. The home smells musty as other reviews noted. The front door feels like it will break off because the handle is very wobbly. The bathrooms have severe lime buildup. If these things don’t bother you and you are fine with this for a few days then it’s ok. But for these reasons I couldn’t stay here again. Also it’s run by a large property management company and I found it difficult to communicate with them. For example I could not get access information about the home until two hours before check in time. When I asked for an early check it they told me it would be subject to a fee. I haven’t found this to be the case with any other VRBO owner and it was not cool. I talked to some lady who said she’d have to call the property manager and get an answer to my question, which was annoying. Felt like I was dealing with a hotel and that’s why I’m not staying at a hotel! Hope this review is helpful to future guests and the owner of the property as well.

Big place with lots of room. Needs updates and a carpet cleaner. Had to reach out because we couldn’t get hot water going but the manager came and turned up the dial on the water heater. Which happened very quickly I was impressed! Everything else was great. Awesome patio. Lots of things within walking distance.

I came for a weekend with my mom and sister for a Celebration of Life and this house was a perfect, relaxing home. A great location, bigger than the pics made it look. Lovely outdoor space.

This house was the perfect getaway for our group of couples. It offered plenty of open space to relax, large and comfortable beds in every room, multiple bathrooms so no one had to share, and a stunning backyard that we all loved. The beach was just a short walk away, with great restaurants nearby as well. Plus, it was an easy rideshare to Long Beach, the airport, and all the other amenities we enjoyed during our stay

This was a beautiful 2 story home in the Belmont heights area of Long Beach. It was quiet, spacious and offered off-street parking. The garden area was adorable.Now, on the downside; The smell throughout the house. I believe it was coming from the old and soiled carpeting on the second floor. It was terrible (the carpeting).The bathroom shower doors were built up with lime and mold. You could smell it when you stepped in the shower. The corners in the bathrooms were black with mold.

If you have a big party and are planning to visit Long Beach, this is the place to stay! The home is very spacious and the garage came in handy. The beach was only a 10 minute walk away, and while we had to drive most other places we wanted to visit, the home was in a convenient, central location.

Wonderful neighborhood! So close to restaurants, shopping, the beach! The house is spacious for our party of 9. Kitchen is well-equipped with everything you can think of. We had a 2-car garage that we never used because of ample parking on the street. Everything was perfect. Wish we could have stayed longer.
