With enough room for 8, this home is as ideal for a couple’s vacation as it is for a pair of traveling families. Guests will enjoy onsite amenities such as the large outdoor pool, relaxing hammock, and picnic area with charcoal grill. You’ll be able to pack up your beach bag and walk down to the shore, close enough to pop back to the home whenever needed whether to prepare a picnic lunch or take a break in the refreshing air conditioning. Of course, you’ll find ample water-themed activities here whether you’re into kayaking, surfing, deep sea fishing, or going for endless swims in the sparkling surf. Hop in the car or golf cart and go exploring for shopping, restaurants, and nightlife, all within easy reach. If nature and wilderness is more of your scene, the Port Aransas Nature Preserve, Leonabelle Turnbull Birding Center, and Wetland Park are all nearby. One thing is for sure, you’ll never run out of entertainment when you book your vacation at Tropic Like It’s Hot!

With a tranquil beach theme running from room to room, you’ll feel immediately at peace and immersed in the natural environment while relaxing indoors. But before you head on inside, make sure you take a good rinse off at the outdoor shower to shed yourself of those tricky remnants of sand. The living room features plush sofa and armchair setting as well as a smart TV when you want to chill out and stream a movie or two. The open floor plan carries you into the dining and kitchen areas where you’ll first find a formal dining room table with seating for 8. Continue on to the cheerful kitchen with colorful coral cabinetry, fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, Keurig coffee maker, and full suite of all the cookware and dining ware you need to achieve your culinary aspirations. The kitchen counter offers additional high-top seating for 4 to assist with meal prep or for enjoying a peaceful cup of morning coffee.

This home comfortably sleeps 8 guests between 3 private bedrooms, and a full size sofa sleeper in the living room.

Bedroom #1 includes a queen size bed, smart TV, and ensuite bathroom with a single vanity and shower/tub combo.

Bedroom #2 includes a twin over full bunkbed (bottom full bunkbed sleeps 2 kids) and a smart TV.

Bedroom #3 includes a queen size bed and smart TV.

The home also includes a half bathroom and an additional full bathroom with a single vanity and walk-in shower.

THINGS TO NOTE:
- Washer and dryer in unit.
- If you are bringing a pet, please be sure to select the total number of pets (limited to 2 pets of no more than 50lbs each) at the time of booking so the pet fee is included. The pet fee is $40 per night for up to 2 pets total. If you do not select this at the time of booking, please contact our Guest Services to ensure you have paid the pet fee before checking in. To avoid any additional charges, it’s important to notify us in advance if you’re bringing a pet. All pets must be kept on a leash when outside and cleaned up after at all times. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out!

- This home offers dedicated parking for up to 2 vehicles. Parking rules are strictly enforced. Parking passes are required for marked spaces and will be provided in the unit upon check-in. If you rent a golf cart, it will need to use one of the allotted spaces.
- No trailers, boats, or RVs in the parking lot. Trailers are permitted only when loading and unloading and must be removed and properly stored.
- Reservations for extra vehicles, RVs, and trailers can be made at On the Beach RV Park. Rates are $7 per day, or $70 per month. Contact information for On the Beach RV Park will be provided after booking.

This home and all furnishings are privately owned, and we kindly ask guests to treat the property with care and respect throughout their stay. Prior to check-in, a detailed video walkthrough and photographs are taken to document the condition of the home. Guests are responsible for any damage incurred during their stay, including additional cleaning fees if the property is not left in its original condition at check-out. This is a strictly non-smoking property, and any evidence of smoking may result in additional cleaning or remediation charges. Maximum occupancy limits are strictly enforced, and parties, events, loud noise, or unregistered guests are not permitted at any time; these regulations are monitored by the City, and violations may result in fines, immediate cancellation of the reservation, and removal from the property without refund. Illegal drugs, including marijuana in any form, are strictly prohibited, and any evidence of drug use will be reported to local authorities and the booking platform. Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM; as a small, family-owned local host with frequent back-to-back reservations, strict adherence to these times is required, though alternative arrangements may be considered with at least 24 hours’ advance notice and are not guaranteed. The primary guest making the reservation must be 25 years of age or older, at least one guest aged 25+ must remain on the property for the duration of the stay, and a valid government-issued photo ID may be required for verification; reservations that do not meet these requirements may be canceled without refund.
