Modern Cabin for 8, Near Slopes + Canyon Lodge!

Had a great stay in Monmouth! The place was clean, well-kept, and super comfortable. Super convenient—close to the shops and right near the lakes for fishing. Alex and Steve were awesome hosts. We’ll definitely be back!

The unit is pretty clean. Well stocked up on amenities. I read on reviews about the stairs and was okay but my 75 year old parents were not happy about it LOL Overall, it was a nice stay.

Overall, the unit itself was spacious and spotless. Location was great, though our unit didn’t really have a view. Parking was perfect.The major concern was, since the unit was on the third floor, not only was it laborious to climb the steep 20-step stairs from the ground to the 2f level, there were 3, 8-step stairs more to climb from the 2nd to the 3rd floor! One inside the unit, more stairs to the loft where most of the beds and 2nd bedroom were. Imagine hauling all those groceries, in addition to your bags, up those series of stairs. I would suggest specifying that this unit should be a huge NO for seniors. Climbing up and down those stairs was the biggest challenge that definitely affected our vacation. And please, make sure the sheets and pillow cases are washed before renting to the next group of guests.

Great place to stay! Canyon is so close. Close to village gondola and Austria Hof bar and restaurant (is it bad that I wrote bar first 🙄?) Kitchen is well stocked and having 2.5 bathrooms is a plus. Beds are comfortable, heaters work well, and hot water is good. It is on 3rd floor, which could be tough for some, but don’t have to hear footsteps above you. Would definitely stay here again.

a good stay but a cold stay. all thermostats would reset to 50 or 55 degrees every few hours which is brutally cold. When asked for help management couldn't provide a solution and suggested to "take it out of schedule mode" which we obviously would have done had it been possible... you needed a password. Luckily we did get the fireplace working eventually which helped a lot. Great place, great location, accurate description, and clean, just seemed to be unprepared for winter guests.

Hear ye, hear ye! Let it be known that our stay within these noble lodgings was nothing short of splendid! In the deep of winter, a fellowship of 8 did make their way unto these mountain halls and from beyond our first hour our hosts proved themselves lords and stwards of the highest order! Swift were their replies and ever watchful their care with no message left unanswered, nor need unmet. Alas in our departing of this great voyage, we did leave behind a cherished belonging which swept the fellowship with sorrow as news fell upon us. Yet hosts meriful and diligent took up the matter, seeking, securing and sending it safely back to us by trusted courier! By great fortune most rare, we arrived at the appointed time and at dawn the fellowship witnessed a world lay blanketed in fresh snow, a beautiful land of white, a blessing from the heavens themselves! The lodging our fellowship found stands in a place most favorable no more than a stone's throw from the great lifts (8 min walk)!

Everything was great !, we did have a hard time getting fire place figured out but eventually got going. Also one of the rooms appeared to not be touched there was some trash in it and it seemed as though the bed had not been changed just made . We saw hairs in it and some old stains that looked like blood. We changed the sheets ourselves and otherwise everything was great!Thanks

This unit was perfect for our skiing trip. It was extremely clean, very well stocked, and had plenty of blankets, pillows, kitchen essentials—everything a group might need. Being on the 3rd floor was a bonus, with no upstairs neighbors and high ceilings. The only downside for our group was that there are only two bedrooms; the additional “room” is a walkthrough loft area without a door. If privacy for all guests is important, that’s something to keep in mind. Otherwise, it was a great stay. Parking was easy, the garage space was a big plus, and the extra parking pass was very convenient. It’s right by Canyon Lodge, so you can walk there if you’d like. Overall I recommend this place to others and would stay again myself.

We had a fantastic stay! The location was perfect, especially for our snowboarders, making everything super convenient. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The beds were incredibly comfortable the bedding was so nice it actually inspired us to purchase a new bed for our home. Communication was excellent, with quick response time when we ran into a small hiccup. We highly recommend this place and would absolutely stay here again.

Very comfortable place to stay and great location! Very open concept and felt like a lot of room for the amount of stuff and people we had! The only downside was there was 4 flights of stairs to go up and down the property which was hard with the amount of stuff we had

Great place! Walkable to Canyon Lodge. All the amenities needed for our friends and family to have a great weekend gathering! Just a note: this is a third floor unit with no elevator...but still amazing.

Rental was very clean and comfortable. Location was very close to the village, parking was convenient. Plenty of space to hang out in, and full kitchen and big dining table. Will definitely look for this place again the next time we head to Mammoth. If anyone in your group has a problem with stairs this might not be the one for you, it was on top of several flights of stairs.

I was initially hesitant about booking this place due to some reviews I read, but I’m really glad I went ahead with it! The home was not only beautiful but also spotless. I really appreciated that the kitchen was fully stocked with appliances. The amenities offered were fantastic, especially when we wanted to unwind after our outdoor adventures. Finding the unit turned out to be much easier than some reviews suggested. Google Maps guided us straight to the building, and the unit numbers were clearly displayed outside along with the garage doors. Each level of the complex had maps available, making it simple to locate every unit. Check-in was smoother than I expected, and although there were a few flights of stairs, we managed just fine—my 7-month-pregnant sister had no trouble. I can see, however, that it might be challenging for those carrying winter gear or for elderly guests. Additionally, the host was very responsive, reaching out a few days before our stay and during.

The location was closed to the village and lakes. The only thing that should have been disclosed was how many stairs they are to get to the place it’s in the third level and it’s only stairs, no elevators. It was really hard for my mother in law who is in her late 70 to go up and down the stairs. Would not recommend with small kids or elderly persons. And the unit inside is two level rooms upstairs except one downstairs and the fan was broken.

Location was good. Close to village, very hot inside. No AC. Upper floor is very hot. There are fans. Some fans didn’t work and when contacted the response was they are not guaranteed. So basically you’re outta luck. So that was frustrating. Very hard to find. Parking is horrible. Lock didn’t work when we arrived.

The place and location were super convenient, host was also very responsive. Amenities need to be update although. There were no “pool” striped towels, pools only in operation during the summer, and it was a hassle to find/pay for the laundry. The thermostat was also pretty tricky due to there being so many of them all over the place. Other than that, the host was very responsive & would help to the best of their ability if something were to have come up. Location is perfect for winter skiing & the home itself was clean.

Nice property, very clean and great location. Management was not as good. Instructions when arriving were unclear and the host seemed to not know much about the property making them not helpful. Parking for multiple cars was tough. Ski lockers were not accessible on our visit (maybe a temporary thing, but inconvenient nonetheless).

We enjoyed our stay! The place was perfect for our family of 5. Master bedroom on main level with kitchen and upstairs bedroom and a loft with 3 more beds! Location was definitely walkable to Canyon Lodge. It’s about a 5 min walk if you are a little creative with the path you choose. Not a ski-in/ski-out property but we didn’t feel the need to drive or fight for parking. This unit is on the top floor with 3 flights of stairs. The ski locker was nowhere to be found so perhaps the instructions and combo for that was meant for another property. We carried our snowboards up and down the stairs every day. Great little workout! Would have left 5 stars but there were no extra towels for jacuzzi and they would not accommodate us for even a 1 hour late checkout. Cleaners arrived promptly at 10am. Made it impossible to get on the slopes our last day. Overall it was a great place and would book again!

We had a great time staying here - loved how close it was to Canyon Lodge! Beds were comfortable and the place looked like the photos. We did have an issue with the main door to the ski/board locker room getting locked so we couldn't get to the locker - but we were able to get the Ski & Racquet Club front desk to help unlock it. I took off a star because it was missing basics like salt and pepper, and there were no extra kitchen trash bags to take out our trash on the last day (we realized this as we were going through the check out list).

Fantastic stay! The location is unbeatable, just a short walk to the mountain, making skiing super convenient. The unit was much more spacious than expected, providing plenty of room and privacy for our group of five. A few things to note: The unit is on the top floor with no elevator, so be prepared for a climb, especially with luggage or ski gear. Finding the unit was tricky since the buildings are labeled by letters while the address is a number, and the garage numbers are inside the garages, making parking a bit confusing. The listing mentions overflow parking, but it's very limited, if those spots are taken, parking elsewhere can be a hassle. Despite these minor issues, the unit itself was great, comfortable, spacious, and in an ideal location. We had an amazing time and would definitely stay again. A few listing updates on navigation, parking, and stairs would help future guests
