My family had a great stay at this property. Some of the highlights: beautiful location, ideal for peaceful walks at nature, ocean view from dining area, clean house, pleasant interior, convenient amenities including an EV charger. The host was friendly and responsive.

Lovely property, very spacious, with ocean view in the distance. The management company was very responsive and helpful. We really enjoyed our week in Sea Ranch and enjoyed hiking, cooking and swimming in the lovely Sea Ranch pools. This property is a bit dated and we missed not having a hot-tub, but overall we were very comfortable and had plenty of space as a family.

Very nice place to stay. Comfortable, nice beds. Easy walk to the bluffs and very close to Gualala which is convenient. Like all rentals, could use more kitchen stuff and dishes.

This an amazing community and the home was very good. You can walk to the bluff trail and watch the sunset. Short drive to several beaches (probably could walk it). I did walk to the Gualala Point Park where the river meets the Pacific. Highly recommend. The house was nice and peaceful. Did not give it 5 stars only because there was some furniture repairs that need to be done and master bedroom carpet needs to be cleaned. But would not dissuade me from renting again. I don’t give out 5 stars very much FWIW. In fact I hope to come back and rent the house sooner than later. You can see the sunset from the house over the Pacific as well. Kitchen was supplied well enough for me. Fireplace and heaters worked. The area is extremely peaceful and quiet. Tidal Pool Beach- definitely go.. Had lunch at the Lodge and would read a book on their outside chairs. So don’t skip that. Two grocery stores in Gualala have all that you need. Rental agency was very responsive. I can’t wait to come back

Nicely laid out house a short walk to the bluff trail. While there is no beach access very near by, the bluff trail is always a treat. The house has a nice selection of games and cook books, and the loft area was very fun for our daughter.

The home, as many built in the 60s or early 70s, requires maintenance. For instance, the original Moen kitchen faucet leaks and the Moen faucet in the primary bedroom required repair, which my husband addressed. For a unit that sleeps six people, it seems that there should be a minimum of (6) plates. There are bugs in the primary bathroom, including a spider in the upper corner of the shower that we named, “Henry.” The carpet is very dirty and stained in what was otherwise a very clean unit, except for the top of the backsplash in the kitchen. We also noted that the sliding door in the primary bedroom was not locked upon arrival. Otherwise, it is a lovely place.

We spent a lovely weekend here. The house is clean and uncluttered and has amazing light and views of the meadows and the ocean. It was so peaceful, the beds and linens were super comfortable, we slept wonderfully. The bathrooms and kitchen were spotless and had all the basic things we needed to be comfortable and have a great time. We noticed there was a heater in every bedroom, which we didn’t need because it was warm, but can come in handy in the winter. I noticed it didn’t have a hot tub, which some people want, but to us it didn’t matter because of the house’s great location, just a few steps from Del Mar which is the best recreation area in Sea Ranch, with a great, warm, beautiful outside pool and a sauna. And - it was also steps from the coastal trail, with great views (we saw many whales!), and the Salal creek, which is lovely and secluded. A wonderful spot all in all, very recommended!

House is clean and neat but needs quite a bit of maintenance. Window seals have failed so they are full of condensation. Zero outdoor ambiance, no cozy place to sit, fence too high to see ocean. Mattress in Primary bedroom squeaks although comfy. No drain board for hand washed dishes. Very sparse and sad house that needs some love. It was a low key weekend for us but wouldn’t be a great place for a celebration.

The house was clean, comfortable and great for a family of four, including two parents & two grown children. The house is simple by Sea Ranch standards, yet the details and furnishings are nice (this coming from us as architecture graduates). The kitchen was well stocked and we made meals at the property including breakfasts and dinners. Wi-fi worked well. The home could use a few more quilts or warm bedding (we could not find it). Great home. Close to walks.

This is a lovely Sea Ranch house - my family of 4 has stayed at a few and this was one of the best for us. It's warm and cozy and perfectly located in Sea Ranch. My kids enjoyed playing out on the spacious patio. It was well appointed with the essentials. We'd book it again!

We had the best time here. The house is incredible and just a short walk from a trail that walks along the bluff. The surrounding area is incredibly quiet and peaceful. We also really enjoyed being close to Gualala and the Regional Park nearby. It was truly the best!! Would recommend this home to anyone.

My friends and I had the most relaxing stay in this house! The vibe was everything we were hoping for. We enjoyed just looking out the window from the couch, picnicking in the grass right outside the house, walking on the path by the water, and getting coffee in nearby Gualala and sunset cocktails at the Sea Ranch Lodge. Would happily stay here again.

Sea Ranch is a gem of a location, and one my busy family of teens needed to reset from heavy school workloads. The booking was a perfect fit for the 5 of us and had a clean, mid-century modern vibe. Visited in March and got lucky with sunny to partly sunny weather, with occasional rain showers. Home was as described / pictured. Excellent views from dining area and master BR, even though home is located a short walk from the coast and bluffs. Power went out once, but listing makes clear this is a possibility in this remote area. Internet speed is better than expected, if working remotely. Lots of breathtaking outdoor access and wildlife (deer, herons, hawks) since it's Sea Ranch. Very much appreciated the available firewood, but was disappointed that the wood-burning stove air vents seemed to not be functioning, making it hard to start and get a fire going. Mostly used the electric fireplaces for heat, which worked fine. Probably becomes only an aesthetic issue in summer/fall.

Pros: Wonderful location, close to trails and beach. Bright, spacious home Mattresses are comfortable Decent price for location Great wood stove, with lots of wood provided Cons: -Space is chilly. Great wood stove but no central heat. I don't mind that, BUT the bedding is woefully underdone. All beds had very light comforters, appropriate for a warm summer night. No down comforter, no extra blankets aside from some thin, warn throws. I was freezing night one. Had to sleep in robe. The next night, I was able to take two comforters (very thin) from other beds, and was ok. If those beds had been in use, it would have been a big problem. Also, the throw blankets in living room are also worn and thin. Big issue for a chilly house. -photos really upsold the place. It's comfortable (if better bedding and throws provided) but also a bit dated. -10am check out is harsh.

Booked stays in Sea Ranch multiple times. This stay was one of our best. The home was tranquil and warm despite the cold weather. Plenty of natural light in the house and sun on the patio/deck. The location is perfect as well since it’s close to the water, trails, food, and the recreation center. I would love to book this property again next time I visit. The only real downside to the property is that the check in/out times were incredibly inconvenient. Check in of 4pm during winter means the sun is almost down by the time you are allowed inside the property. This meant that we had to sit in town for several hours waiting. And check out at 10am felt very rushed. I’m an early waker but gathering all our things, cleaning, taking out the trash, etc. made our exit feel less than rejuvenating. If check in/out times were more flexible, this place would be nothing but 5-stars.

Beautiful spot in the Sea Ranch! The home is located in a quiet neighborhood and was near very nice trails. A perfect spot for rest and relaxation along with access to nature. If you decide to book a few notes… - bring warm layers or a few extra blankets, as there is no central heating (though there are very effective space heaters) - there are a few harmless bugs that look like potato bugs - be ready to feel serene!
