Description

The lodge-inspired decor with reclaimed old growth Redwood barrel staves throughout the home is sure to make you feel far away from the hustle and bustle of the city life and welcome you to the great outdoors of Tahoe.

The downstairs includes an open-concept living and dining area with a wood-burning stove and high end furnishings that provide plenty of comfortable seating and complement the sophisticated wildlife decor. The high vaulted ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows create a bright and airy atmosphere.

Off of the living and dining area you will find sliding glass doors that lead to the patio with bbq and hot tub. It's the perfect place for family or friend gatherings for all to enjoy! Making your way back to the front of the home, you will find a beautifully done and updated kitchen, a bonus living room with flat screen apple TV with Wii.

The primary bedroom includes a king bed, gas fireplace, and en suite bathroom. Bedrooms 2 and 3 have single Queen beds and the 4th bedroom has 2 queen beds.

Whether you're looking to be close to the slopes or minutes from the lake, this will be a vacation home you'll want to return to year after year!

Hot tub use is prohibited between the hours of 10 PM to 8 AM. When using the hot tub, remember there is a certain health risk associated with the facility. Use at your own risk. Do not stand on the hot tub covers. Hot tub covers are for insulation purposes and will not support a person. Covers do break and you may be charged for a replacement. Guest assumes all risks involved in and related to the use of the hot tub.
Smoking is never allowed inside or outside the property.
Parties or events of any kind are not allowed.
Pets are not allowed unless otherwise noted.
Do not move or rearrange the furniture.

I was so impressed with how spacious the place is! It doesn’t seem that big from the outside, but it really is. It comfortably accommodated seven adults and a baby, and there’s definitely room for more! The kitchen is well-equipped with great appliances, but it was missing one essential: cooking oil. The bathtub in the master bedroom was amazing! The hot tub is definitely a highlight of a good ski trip, and I love that we have our own. Location was great, the shuttle to Palisades stops right in from our door, so don't need to worry and waking up earlier to secure parking. I would return here!

This place was very comfortable and well stocked. The fireplaces kept is cozy during the snowstorm and the hot tub was awesome. The management sent many well informative emails about the house but when we asked specific questions, we were answered by a bot, which felt disappointing. All in all, it is a beautiful cabin but if you don’t like animal heads and skins scattered about, it’s not for you.

I’ve contacted this Host 4 times (2 times each regarding 2 separate issues), prior to writing a public review, with no resolution or update from them on either issue. Our stay was good but contact and follow-through from the Host was negative. The # of guests (10), bedrooms (4) and beds (5) shown on the listing are accurate. However “Where you’ll sleep” shows an image of a basement with 1 queen bed that does not exist. The result is that two people had to share a bed that was not anticipated. Despite my 2 inquiries and 2 requests to correct the listing it is still on there. Second issue: My mistake - I left my diamond earrings on the bathroom counter and wrote the Host the same day we checked out and offered to pay for return shipping if they were located. I was given a response that they would check with the ground crew. After 4 days with no follow up, I emailed them again and received the same response. Again, no follow up response.

The location and space of this house word great for our group! It was really close to the mountain and we were able to take the free shuttle to Palisades. The house was also a great layout and we loved how each bedroom had its own bathroom! Hot tub was also really nice. The taxidermy was a little much for us (especially the bears in one of the bedrooms) but otherwise was a nice house!
