Description

Explore the outdoors right out the door-relax on the large rooftop deck or take in the woodland views in the spacious yard. If you want to venture a little bit farther on your outdoor adventures, McKinney Estates in Tahoma is the perfect spot. This property backs up to hiking trails and beautiful the Chambers Beach is just a 15-minute walk away. Fine dining and delicious pizza is less than a 5 minute drive.

McKinney Estates features a cozy living room arranged with seating around a fireplace and flat-screen 55" Smart TV. This area is perfect for spending quality time with friends and family. On a chilly night light a fire in the fireplace and settle in for a movie. A DVD player and WIFI are provided for your entertainment.

A fully equipped kitchen is perfect for homemade meals. Seating is available at the built-in breakfast bar alongside the dining table with 8 seats. A BBQ is available outside on the lower deck for summer day grill. A patio table and chairs are clad nearby - perfect for dining alfresco or enjoying a cold beverage while taking in the lush forest view Tahoma has to offer.

Due to COVID, there are changes in ski resort availabilities. Please make sure to check the ski resorts’ policies on reservations and tickets if you plan on hitting the slopes. We cannot provide refunds based on reservation inabilities at the ski resorts.

Please note that requests for late checkout must be received no later than 10:00 AM local time on the day prior to your departure. Early check-in and late checkout are based on availability and require approval, and may be subject to an additional fee of up to $60.00 depending on the number of additional hours requested. Our cleaners travel from great lengths and have tight schedules and therefore will arrive right at 10am. Failure to abide our check-out policy may result in fees.

The number of overnight occupants shall not exceed two persons per permitted bedroom. Children six years of age or older are counted towards the occupancy limits.

Parties or events of any kind are not allowed.

Perfect for our family. We love Tahoma. We biked to Sunnyside, Meek Bay, Tahoe city, and all around the neighborhood. We walked to Sunnyside Beach. The Tahoma market is down the street. Westshore is the best shore. Home was spacious and looks just like the photos. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location & decent size for our young adult family & friends (total 6 of us). However, the third bedroom has tiny twin beds & a little small for our 25-30 year olds. Not a major issue just be aware if you’re all adults.Easily walkable to Chambers & bikeable all over. Everyone loved it! Lots of hikes close by & backs to open space. Description accurate. Could use a bit of an upgrade on some kitchen items & maybe provide tin foil or wrap/bags for leftover food & bbqing. Grill was great tho & easy to use. Just make sure you download your check in codes before you get to the property as there is no service to retrieve until you access wifi code. Also a bit of a dead spot for phone calls. So not a great location if you have to work. Management company was quick to respond. Pricing was decent…

This was a wonderful house. The pictures match the house. The back yard is right at the forest, neighborhood was quiet, easy access to the Rubicon and 3 miles from Meeks Bay. Price was fair for the area, I would stay again!

The house is very spacious and has a nice upper deck. We had trouble getting in because the code they sent us was incorrect, and there is absolutely zero service at this location. It is a very outdated house with carpet, but the fireplace was a nice touch. It is also a little far from everything (including resturants). To get to South Lake Tahoe it was 45ish minutes but if you like to ski or snowboard then Palisades was 25-30 minutes which was nice!

It was a amazing to place to stay with family during the holidays. No need to go anywhere far to play in snow as there is a backyard. Instructions were given and they were easy to follow.

Everything was fine, the backyard with a view of the forest. The house has a cozy interior. All equipment is in working condition. But: 1) very uncomfortable mattresses, my husband and I rolled into the middle of the bed, it was difficult to get enough sleep 2) the towels do not look quite fresh, even if they are washed. Otherwise, the house is wonderful. We really enjoyed our vacation in Tahoma.
