Franny and Luke were very welcoming. The house itself was beautiful and my friends and I had a great time. The house was the perfect size for us to hangout in. While this is close to a beach and we went in the winter, it was nonetheless a very fun stay. We would love to come back in the summer to enjoy the warm weather!

The house is large, all king size beds, no arguing! Game room is great for the competition side of us. Walk to the beach and a small downtown. Private back yard is nice with a great fire pit. We will definitely book again. .

We had a wonderful week in this home with our family of 8 adults and 2 infants! We loved being able to walk into York and to the beach, and found the location very central - yet also loved the peaceful backyard. Franny was very responsive and helpful.

This home was a great place to stay if you're visiting the York area, with a lot of restaurants and beaches close by. My kids loved the game room in the garage, and we all enjoyed the two separate living room areas. I appreciated how well-stocked this home was with paper products and linens. Not a knock on the listing but worth noting that Ridge Road is very busy, so it can be a little loud. I'd recommend bringing a sound machine if you have small kiddos. Also on the kiddo note, there are several baby gates and a high chair, which was great. Overall a wonderful place to stay and we'd return in a heartbeat!

An exceptional stay at this beautiful house just 5 mins walk to shops, restaurants, and the beach. House is beautifully decorated and well appointed. Plenty of space for families to spread out. You could hear the ocean from the backyard fire pit. We hope to come back again next year!

Great rental with everything you need for a large party. We cooked a lot of our meals and the kitchen was properly equipped. Great outdoor area and plenty of space for a large group. Walking distance to beach and York. Great communication. Would love to return.

Franny was wonderful to work with, extremely responsive! This home is brand new and nicely appointed. Kitchen has everything you need. Our grandson’s loved the game room—-great air hockey and foosball tournaments. We created wonderful family memories ….camp fire stories, making smores, Amazing star gazing, sand castles at the beach, visiting the zoo, local restaurants, charming shops, old fashioned bowling, game arcade, brewery, gazebo at the beach with music, Nubble lighthouse, and tide pools! Best part, all within walking distance!! Our family, ages 4 to 70, had an exceptional time…..top notch! We plan to return.

Our stay here was excellent. It was only for a quick weekend trip and we're looking forward to hopefully returning for a longer stay next year. There were nine of us in all, 6 adults and 3 kids, and there was plenty of room for our group. The location is fantastic as it's only a few minute walk to the shops and beach. The house itself is great. We found ourselves wanting to spend more time hanging around the place and less time at the beach thanks to the game room, fire pit, etc. The hosts were also very good. The messages they sent were always clear and helpful. Definitely recommend this home and the hosts.

We all had a wonderful time at Ocean Ridge. We were a group of ten (ages 6 - 60) and we had plenty of space to relax and get comfortable. We had all we needed and the kitchen was very well equipped. We were impressed. The kids (and the adults) had so much fun in the game room and the back yard was well maintained and inviting. Everything was nice and clean. We were able to walk to the beach and the surrounding shops which was a great! The host was really pleasant and communicative. Very easy to work with. If another opportunity arises where we do a group trip to the coast of Maine we will likely choose this option again.

We had a great stay at Grand Welcome York! The house was in pristine condition and so well stocked unlike any other Airbnb I’ve stayed. The beds were very comfortable. We liked the layout of the kitchen with the mini fridge. The game room was so fun for our group. We enjoyed a few nites around the firepit and outdoor patio, loved the walkability to the beach and town especially the York Beach brewery we really enjoyed. Only negative is the road noise some and the construction next door and outdoor shower wasn’t working which is need if you have up to 12 guests staying in the house. Frannie was an awesome host and answered any questions we had and was super accommodating she even shipped a left behind item for me which I was so thankful for! Thanks again! Would def stay again!

This was the ideal Airbnb. It had everything we needed. It was a great location, walkable to city center and the beach. It was one of the cleanest we have stayed in. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room for all 8 of us. The kitchen was very well stocked as I did a lot of cooking. We were all very happy with this place and hope to come back.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely property in York Beach, Maine. Franny and Luke were exceptional hosts—communicative, kind, and responsive from start to finish, which made everything easy and stress-free. Franny was so accommodating when we realized we had left items behind and she did not hesitate to help out to arrange to get the items back to us. The home itself was gorgeous, tastefully decorated clean, neat, and peaceful—just the kind of place you want to come back to after a day out enjoying the beach. Great thought was put into accommodating the guests, such as sufficient kitchen wares, linens, beach chairs, games etc. The location was perfect, close to all the local beach activities, restaurants, and attractions, but still tucked away enough to feel relaxing and quiet.One of our favorite parts was the backyard fire pit. After a full day in the sun, it was the perfect spot to gather with family, unwind, and share stories under the stars. It really made the trip feel special.This was our 23rd year vacationing in York and one of the best places we have stayed! We’d definitely return and highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay in York Beach.
