- Pets: This home is not pet friendly. If there is found evidence of an animal's presence during your stay or post check-out, guests will be charged an additional cleaning fee.
- Cleaning: Remove trash and load & run dishwasher upon check-out. Extra trash incurs a $150 fee.
- Utilities & Appliances: Normal utility usage included. Excessive use could incur additional fees. Use appliances as intended.
- Parking: Follow local parking rules. Fines for violations.
- Safety & Security: No illegal activities or hazardous materials. Properties may have surveillance.
- Maintenance: Report issues promptly. No refunds for mechanical failures.
- Payments & Deposits: Major credit card required. Security deposit may be used for damages.
- Lost & Found: $25 minimum shipping cost for lost items.

The house was very spacious, comfortable and clean. Easy walk to the beach, and nice pool area. Pool service was done on Saturday, which limited use for a couple of hours, but not a big deal. Check in process required upload of license and input of personal data outside of the VRBO app, which was not clearly disclosed until right before check in.

This house is awesome. Super close to beach and path system. Absolute zero complaints other than they don’t do early check ins. But that’s a minor detail compared to how great this property and location are in Hilton Head. Would absolutely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay! Our large family loved how close we were to the beach, the amount of space we had to spread out in the house, and enjoyed cooking and playing games together. The baby items in the house were also very helpful to have. A few things to note: the elevator did not work during our stay and it was a little difficult to keep up with dishes with the one drying towel provided. We also did not see any oven mitts. Finally, we loved the amount of beach gear available at the house, but struggled with the amount of space beach towels took up in our suitcases as those are not provided either. Overall, we would definitely stay again!

Great location, was ideal for a bachelor party. A stones throw from the beach and a 10 minute ride to anything from golf courses to restaurants to bars. House has plenty of space for a group of 15 and stacked with activities and features that make it the perfect location for anyone looking to take a weekend vacation to Hilton Head.

The house is beautiful and very convenient for the beach and the pool! However, be aware there is nothing “extra” in the house - salt and pepper, extra trash bags, etc. the beds are extremely comfortable and having 2 sets of laundry machines is a great bonus.

The Sandy Beach Retreat was perfect for our group of 18 people visiting the island for a celebration of life/funeral. The house is beautiful, tastefully decorated and only two short blocks from the Burke’s Beach entrance. There are two driveways/garages - each can hold two cars (you can also fit smaller cars in each garage if needed) for a total of 6 vehicles. The 3 outdoor areas by the pool were comfortable. One covered area included an outdoor TV. The deck on the front of the house , the additional deck off the back and the large living room were great so no one felt on top of each other. Elevator worked great! The host was quick to respond and fix a few items noted that needed attention. Things to Note: -Beach towels are not included in the linens supplied. -For longer stays, you will need to supply additional paper towels/toilet paper/dishwashing liquid & detergent/laundry detergent The kitchen was stocked with pans/utensils. 3 coffee makers/blender. No pot holders.

The house was beautiful & clean. The location was perfect. They had bikes, a basketball game, wagons, corn hole games, pool toys, it was plenty to do. We had some hickups with checking in but our overall stay was awesome. The host was very responsive. I will definitely stay again.

The house was spotless, which we very much appreciated. The elevator came in handy. The kids enjoyed swimming, even though the pool was not heated. The beach was within walking distance. The kids played a lot on the beach. The house was also well equipped with activities for the kids. The bunk beds that sleep 8 were a great asset, but having one bathroom for 12 people on the 4th floor was a bit tough. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking for our large group. We had a great stay and would no hesitate to return.

Had an awesome time. Very spacious. Room for four families to spread out with private space. The bikes, pool toys, air hockey, and basketball was just enough to keep the little ones occupied. Very responsive. Would definitely stay again.

What a perfect location and beautiful escape for families! The host was always responsive, friendly and proactive with communication. The home has plenty of space to feel at home but not cramped, activities to keep the family busy with a beautiful sparkling pool and such incredible easy access to the beach. Perfectly located for shops and restaurants without traffic noise or encumbrances. Highly recommend a visit for the perfect family getaway!

-mold on garage door -Freezer hard to close -Outlets in kitchen pop when you plug in appliances -Clogged drain upstairs shower -Floors not mopped -Pool was cloudy upon arrival and leaving -dryer cycle two times before clothes will dry-ac upstairs turns to eco at night so it’s warm
