We had the best time! Very clean and very well stocked! If you are staying with small children I would recommend a baby gate for the stairs.

Wonderful!
We stayed two weeks in the home and did not want to leave. It was so relaxing—from the comfy beds to enjoying a cup of coffee on one of the porches while watching the deer, or spending family time in the game room downstairs. This place has everything you need for the perfect vacation!

Had a great Thanksgiving Holiday. Very clean and met all of our needs. The constant flow of deer through the property was a great treat for the kids.

The home itself is adorable and very comfortable. BUT .. the neighbor of this property is not friendly. The first night we arrived we sat on the porch talking and laughing and were a little loud. I was going to apologize to her the next morning but before I could, she came outside at 6am yelling at my in laws about it. I didn’t fault her and we just let it go. Our last night around 9:15pm my son and nephew were taking out the trash and were having trouble opening the bear cage around the trashcan. They started laughing and she yells “Calm It Down”. I did exchange some words with her and she threatened to call the neighborhood security on me even though the noise ordinance does not start until 10pm. I would not book this home again just because of her.

Hi Ashley, Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We appreciate you taking the time to leave this review, as it helps us understand how to improve the overall guest experience. We’re glad to hear the home itself was comfortable and enjoyable for your stay. However, we’re truly sorry about the interactions you experienced with the neighbor. That’s not the welcoming environment we want for our guests. We will be notifying the neighborhood association about this situation to ensure future guests are treated respectfully and that any concerns are handled appropriately and within the community guidelines. Your feedback is important to us, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. If you decide to return to the area, we would love the chance to host you again at one of our other properties where you can enjoy a more peaceful and uninterrupted stay.

The home is beautiful and exactly as pictured. Quiet and comfortable, with everything we needed on hand. The wildlife (deer) are exceptionally friendly and you will see herds of them every day, which we very much enjoyed. Our only issue was the check in process. Primarily, which gate to enter; as a bridge being out meant you couldn’t reach the property from one of the gates. Our door code didn’t work, but the emergency one they gave us did… and we had smooth sailing after that. Communication was good and timely for most of our needs. I would recommend this property to you easily. Be aware there are curvy roads throughout the resort, as you go back and forth to town.

What a great place! Deer in the yard every morning and evening with several choices of porches or deck. Beds were comfortable and the game room was just right for the kids. The winding road to get there took some getting used to, but the resort is beautiful! The hosts have thought of what it takes to keep their guests happy and we were!

Clean, well maintained cabin. It had the most comfortable beds ever! The host and customer service reps were able to help with issues we had with the front door. They checked in on us often. We want to stay there again when we visit family.

We truly enjoyed our visit at Pines & Tines. The cabin was very spacious. Comfy beds! My boys especially enjoyed the game room. They felt like they had their own "hangout space". We noticed "extras" throughout the home that are not always typical in an AirBnb (multi-port chargers, emergency supplies, extra propane tank, blankets, hand soap/shampoos/conditioners). The kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans, containers, plenty of dinnerware, blender, crockpot. We typically cook our own meals and had everything we needed. There is an Aldi, Walmart, and Dollar tree located about a 15 min drive into town for anything you may need. We recommend the city pass and spending a few days in Atlanta. It's about 1 1/2 hour drive. Amicalola Falls State Park was beautiful. Plan ahead if you wish to zip line and make reservations early. We loved Bear Creek Trail. Even saw a bear! Resort was very clean and staff very nice. Keep your reservation number handy-you will need it at the gate. Enjoy Ellijay!

Hi Benjamin, Thank you so much for the thoughtful and detailed review of your stay at Pines & Tines! We’re so glad to hear that you and your family enjoyed the spacious cabin, the comfy beds, and especially the game room , sounds like your boys had a blast in their own “hangout space.” 😊 We appreciate your taking time to provide this review, and the feedback helps other guests when making decisions for their upcoming stays. It's great to know that you noticed and made use of the little “extras” we’ve added to make our guests feel more at home. Thank you as well for the helpful tips and recommendations for future guests, from shopping options in town to nearby attractions like Amicalola Falls and Bear Creek Trail! We would love to host you again for the Autumn 🍂 Festivals and the beautiful changing of the leaves in Ellijay.
