Description

As you arrive, drop your bags inside and immediately head out to the deck. This will easily become your favorite gathering spot, featuring comfortable seating and panoramic views of the lake and mountains. Then wander down to the private dock to sneak a peek at your post for exceptional fishing or relishing tranquil moments on the water.

Back inside, you’ll find a modern rustic interior where comfort meets nature. The open-concept living room welcomes you with a cozy couch facing both a smart TV and wide lake views—perfect for relaxing after a day on the water. The kitchen flows seamlessly from here, offering dark cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, and counter seating for four, while a dining table for six sits nearby for shared meals with a view.

Just a few steps away, a dedicated office provides a quiet workspace with inspiring vistas, complete with a desk and armchair for the ultimate comfort. And when the sun sets but you’re not quite ready to be done for the day, the spacious game room downstairs delivers plenty of fun with a foosball table, smart TV, and an oversized couch ideal for movie nights or lounging together.

This home comfortably sleeps 6 guests between 3 private bedrooms.

Bedroom #1 includes a king size bed, a smart TV, and an ensuite bathroom with a dual vanity and a walk-in shower.

Bedroom #2 includes a queen size bed, a smart TV, and an ensuite bathroom with a single vanity and a walk-in shower.

Bedroom #3 includes a full size bed.

This home also includes a half bathroom.

In addition to its historical attractions, Eureka is also a great destination for tourists who are interested in the outdoors. The town is located near a number of lakes, including Lake Koocanusa. From the moment we arrived, this property felt like home. It was welcoming, comfortable, immaculate and the hosts were always communicating with us when needed. They had all the amenities available .The area surrounding us was beautiful, quiet and peaceful. Our mornings began on the deck with a cup of coffee and ended on the deck with a glass of wine by the fire. We could not have asked for a better week! Thank you!

From the moment we got there we felt at home and could relax. We bought groceries and used the kitchen and BBQ and could enjoy the view when we had our meals. The deck was our favourite spot with the chairs and fire. We brought our paddleboards and got to enjoy the lake out back, Sophie lake, and Koocanusa. We biked to Koocanusa and went swimming and floating. This was such a fantastic location and we didn't have any neighbors are entire stay which was an extra perk. The view of the mountains and the water was super relaxing. We loved the gigantic windows! We felt very well looked after as the host was very responsive. The place was a great size and we definitely want to come back with some friends to enjoy it with. 10/10. Thank you for having us! See you again!

We stayed here with another family - 4 adults and 3 children for one week. The location was perfect for our daily needs. The lake was fun to fish and kayak in, and just down the road Sophie lake had a great beach and shade for the kids to swim in the afternoon. The town of eureka wasn’t too far away but didn’t offer too much in addition to a grocery store for our family. Overall we enjoyed our stay and loved exploring the area. A few things of note that we communicated with the owner: 1) while a baby crib was available there was nothing else. Getting a highchair or foldable bath tub, even a few toys or books would have gone a long way. 2) the propane in the bbq was absent and we were instructed to move the tank from the fire table back and forth which quickly ran out. 3) while it’s a country house we were not prepared for mice. Despite traps being put out, there were mice daily on the deck- huge bummer and imo could have been avoided if the area was inspected closer before we arrived.

Very nice property on a small lake, beautiful views of the mountains in the distance. Close to lake Koocanusa, we rented a boat for the day and had a great time.

The property was top notch, the pictures do not do the property justice. It had everything you could think of and would require for the stay. It was beautifully furnished/renovated. The property is the definition of a perfect lake front house. The team was very responsive and provided great tips for the area which made our trip even more enjoyable. We would have extended our stay if we could have! We are already planning our next stay with them!

Although I was a little nervous to book a house without any ratings, this did not disappoint and exceeded our expectations! The house is easy to find, peaceful but only 10 minutes from town. This property is exactly as pictured. Lovely parking space, quiet street and breathtaking views. The house is pristine and well stocked with kitchen items! They had top of the line stove, fridge, blender, coffee machines, any gadget you’re needing, they have. It does seem that this house is newly renovated and they have done a beautiful job. The beds are SO comfortable, the bedding is wonderful quality offering layers in case you’re a hot/cool sleeper. Plenty of towels supplied and they have full size bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash to use which was very convenient since we flew in. The hosts were very responsive and answered any questions I had quickly and efficiently. I would stay here again without hesitation!
