Our cleaners sometimes travel up to one hour to service this home, so we kindly ask that you respect the 10:00 AM check-out time.
- AGE REQUIREMENT: The primary renter must be 25 years of age or older.
- QUIET NEIGHBORHOOD: In Tahoe, it is so quiet at night you can hear a pin drop. We can only host quieter groups who will abide by all county laws. Quiet hours are from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM and are strictly enforced. Noise that is considered “an unreasonable annoyance or nuisance to neighbor(s)” is prohibited after 10:00 PM. Outdoor lights must be turned off after 10:00 PM to enjoy the mountain stars and help minimize light pollution.

We genuinely value your input and appreciate constructive feedback that helps us improve.
- TRAVEL INSURANCE: We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance, as refunds are generally not provided for COVID, smoke, fires, weather, snowstorms, road closures, or similar circumstances.
- WINTER TRAVEL ADVISORY: Due to the potential for heavy snowfall, we recommend 4WD vehicles with snow tires, tire chains, and experience driving in snow. Tahoe roads can be icy, and power outages are possible. Please wear snow boots and use caution when walking on icy pathways.

- TOWELS: We provide one bath towel and one washcloth per occupant, plus one hand towel per bathroom.
- SECURITY: Most homes have exterior-only security cameras and noise decibel monitoring systems to ensure compliance with county ordinances. We take guest privacy very seriously—there are never indoor cameras. Many owners simply check cameras to monitor snow levels or wildlife activity (often bears).
- MOUNTAIN CRITTERS: It is not uncommon in Tahoe to encounter mountain mice, spiders, spider webs, ants, mosquitoes, etc. Our homes receive ongoing extermination service; however, despite our best efforts, small critters may occasionally make their way inside. If you notice anything, please let us know so we can address it promptly. Their presence does not indicate the home is unclean.
- BE BEAR AWARE: Tahoe is bear country. Please secure all food and lock vehicles. Do not leave garbage or food outside the home. Trash must be stored in the bear-proof container at all times.

Reviews
Communication was kind of confusing. Got text messages from two different numbers with instructions and codes. We were hoping for a little bit later check out on a Tuesday afternoon with no bookings coming up and they wanted to charge us quite a bit for what we were asking for, or pay for an extra night. Kind of ridiculous, but to be expected from a place managed by a company.
Thank you for your feedback—we truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. Late checkouts do carry a fee, as they involve coordinating schedule adjustments for our housekeeping team and ensuring everything continues to run smoothly for incoming guests. We understand the communication felt a bit unclear and will continue working on improving that. Thank you for your understanding, and you’re always welcome back—we’d be happy to host you again!Posted: 4/4/2026
