Fish Tales Lake Days & Dock

As you enter, the warm wood-paneled kitchen welcomes you with plenty of room to prepare meals and gather, while the rich wood flooring and rustic details create a cozy lakehouse feel. A few steps beyond, the dining area offers a large table for 6, making it easy to enjoy family or group meals together. The living area invites you to settle into the comfortable couch and reclining chairs, stream your favorites on the smart TV, or take in the home's classic lake-inspired character.

Step outside to enjoy the home's inviting waterfront spaces. The covered lakeside patio provides a comfortable place to dine alfresco or relax in the shade, while the open grounds lead toward the water and a fire pit surrounded by Adirondack chairs. Just beyond, the dock invites you to spend the day swimming, fishing, or enjoying the lake, then fire up the grill for an easy outdoor meal.

This home comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests across 2 bedrooms.

Bedroom #1 features a queen-size bed, smart TV, and an ensuite full bathroom with a shower-tub combination.

Bedroom #2 features a queen-size bed, twin day bed, and twin trundle bed, along with a smart TV.

An additional shared full bathroom is located on the lower level and includes a walk-in shower. Please note that this bathroom is not accessible from inside the home. Guests must exit the home and use the lower outdoor patio entrance to access the bathroom.

THINGS TO NOTE:
• This home offers parking for up to 3 vehicles. One vehicle may park in the driveway in front of the property, and two may park in front of the garage across the street. Please do not encroach on neighboring parking areas or block the road.
• This home is a sister unit to the home next door. Larger parties are encouraged to book the combination unit, Lakeside Lodgings, which offers access to both properties.
• Please note, this home does not have a dish washer.
• Washer and dryer in basement and is not accessible from inside the home. Guests must exit the home and use the lower outdoor patio entrance to access the bathroom.
• Guests are welcome to use the dock; please note that the dock does not have electrical power.
• Private boat ramp for guest us is available on the property.
• Trailer parking is available at the top of the hill near the storage container and small shed. Overflow parking is available along both sides of the main building if needed.
• Buck Creek Store is a full service convenience store with non-ethanol gas, just up the road less than a mile.
• Property is located on a well maintained gravel road.

We understand that pets are part of your family, and we welcome well-behaved pets in our vacation rental! To ensure a pleasant stay for all guests, we kindly ask that you adhere to the following guidelines:

• We allow a maximum of 1 pet per stay — dogs only.
• Only dogs under 50 pounds are permitted; this policy is in place to help protect the property and ensure a safe, comfortable environment for all guests.
• Please note that an additional pet fee of $25 per pet, per day applies and is not included in your final booking cost; to arrange payment, please contact our Customer Care Team after booking.
• Pets must be well-behaved, house-trained, and under the control of their owners at all times; excessive barking, aggressive behavior, or disturbances to neighbors are not permitted.
• Pets may not be left unattended in the property unless secured in a crate or carrier.
• Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets both inside the rental and in surrounding areas; any damage caused by pets will be charged accordingly.
• Pets are not permitted on furniture, including beds and sofas — please bring your pet's bedding or crate for their comfort.
• Guests are responsible for complying with local leash laws and pet regulations; pets must be on a leash when outside the rental property.
• Failure to comply with this pet policy may result in additional cleaning fees, damage fees, or, in severe cases, termination of the rental agreement without refund.
• By bringing your pet to our vacation rental, you agree to adhere to these guidelines. We appreciate your cooperation in helping ensure a wonderful experience for all of our guests!

Laurie offers a laid-back Lake of the Ozarks escape with plenty of outdoor recreation nearby. Explore scenic trails, bluffs, caves, and historic castle ruins at Ha Ha Tonka State Park, about 30 minutes away, or visit Bridal Cave for an underground adventure. With beautiful landscapes and plenty to explore around the lake, every day offers a chance for adventure or relaxation.

At Fish Tales, there's plenty of room to slow down and enjoy time together. Share a meal in the warm, wood-paneled dining area, gather around the fire pit as evening settles in, or spend a quiet morning by the dock. With comfortable spaces indoors and easy access to the lake, it's an inviting place to disconnect from the everyday and settle into lake life.

- Must be 25 to book — we reserve the right to verify ID at check-in.
- No smoking.
- No fireworks.
- No parties — please be sure to respect the maximum occupancy of your property.
- Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM–8:00 AM — please be mindful of noise.
- We require all guests to adhere to local state laws requiring children under the age of 12 to be accompanied by an adult and wear a certified PFD near or in lake water.
