Lakeside Lodgings 2 Home Stay

Lakeside Lodgings combines two separate lake houses, Waters Edge and Fish Tales, giving larger groups room to spread out while staying together. Across both homes, you'll find two fully equipped kitchens and dining areas, along with comfortable living spaces where everyone can gather, relax, or enjoy the lake views. Waters Edge features panoramic water views and a second sitting nook off the living room, while Fish Tales adds its warm, wood-paneled lakehouse character and additional comfortable gathering space.

Step outside to enjoy multiple ways to experience the waterfront. Waters Edge offers an elevated wooden deck with lake views, while Fish Tales provides a covered patio for shaded outdoor time. Each home has its own fire pit area for evenings by the water, and guests can enjoy access to the waterfront docks for swimming, fishing, and boating. Together, the outdoor spaces give your group plenty of room to gather, dine, and enjoy the lake at your own pace.

Combined, these two homes sleep up to 12 guests:

Waters Edge comfortably sleeps 6 guests across 2 bedrooms. Bedroom #1 features a king-size bed and smart TV. Bedroom #2 features a full-over-queen bunk bed and flat-screen TV with cable.

The shared full bathroom includes a walk-in shower and single vanity.

Fish Tales comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests across 2 bedrooms. Bedroom #1 features a queen-size bed, smart TV, and an ensuite full bathroom with a shower-tub combination. Bedroom #2 features a queen-size bed, twin day bed, and twin trundle bed, along with a smart TV.

An additional shared full bathroom is located on the lower level and includes a walk-in shower. Please note that this bathroom is not accessible from inside the home. Guests must exit the home and use the lower outdoor patio entrance to access the bathroom.

THINGS TO NOTE:
• This home offers parking for up to 5 vehicles. One vehicle may park in the driveway in front of Fish Tales, two may park in front of the garage across the street from Fish Tales, and 2 vehicles may park in the gravel spaces near the road by the mailbox at Waters Edge. Please be mindful not to encroach on the parking areas of the neighboring homes on either side, and ensure that vehicles can still pass safely along the road.
• Lakeside Lodgings is comprised of two completely separate homes, Waters Edge and Fish Tales, which can be booked individually.
• Please note, both homes do not have a dish washer.
• Washer and dryer are available in Fish Tales; laundry facilities are not available in Waters Edge. Washer and dryer are not accessible from inside the home. Guests must exit the home and use the lower outdoor patio entrance to access the bathroom.
• Guests are welcome to use the docks; please note that the docks do not have electrical power.
• Private boat ramp for guest us is available on the property.
• Trailer parking is available at the top of the hill near the storage container and small shed. Overflow parking is available along both sides of the main building if needed.
• Buck Creek Store is a full service convenience store with non-ethanol gas, just up the road less than a mile.
• Property is located on a well maintained gravel road.

We understand that pets are part of your family, and we welcome well-behaved pets in our vacation rental! To ensure a pleasant stay for all guests, we kindly ask that you adhere to the following guidelines:

• We allow a maximum of 2 pets per stay — dogs only.
• Only dogs under 50 pounds are permitted; this policy is in place to help protect the property and ensure a safe, comfortable environment for all guests.
• Please note that an additional pet fee of $25 per pet, per day applies and is not included in your final booking cost; to arrange payment, please contact our Customer Care Team after booking.
• Pets must be well-behaved, house-trained, and under the control of their owners at all times; excessive barking, aggressive behavior, or disturbances to neighbors are not permitted.
• Pets may not be left unattended in the property unless secured in a crate or carrier.
• Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets both inside the rental and in surrounding areas; any damage caused by pets will be charged accordingly.
• Pets are not permitted on furniture, including beds and sofas — please bring your pet's bedding or crate for their comfort.
• Guests are responsible for complying with local leash laws and pet regulations; pets must be on a leash when outside the rental property.
• Failure to comply with this pet policy may result in additional cleaning fees, damage fees, or, in severe cases, termination of the rental agreement without refund.
• By bringing your pet to our vacation rental, you agree to adhere to these guidelines. We appreciate your cooperation in helping ensure a wonderful experience for all of our guests!

Laurie offers a laid-back Lake of the Ozarks escape with plenty of outdoor recreation nearby. Explore scenic trails, bluffs, caves, and historic castle ruins at Ha Ha Tonka State Park, about 30 minutes away, or visit Bridal Cave for an underground adventure. With beautiful landscapes and plenty to explore around the lake, every day offers a chance for adventure or relaxation.

At Lakeside Lodgings, larger groups can enjoy the best of both homes while staying together comfortably. Share meals, gather around either fire pit as evening settles in, or spend time along the waterfront. With separate spaces to relax and plenty of room for everyone, the compound makes it easy to reconnect and enjoy lake time together.

- Must be 25 to book — we reserve the right to verify ID at check-in.
- No smoking.
- No fireworks.
- No parties — please be sure to respect the maximum occupancy of your property.
- Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM–8:00 AM — please be mindful of noise.
- We require all guests to adhere to local state laws requiring children under the age of 12 to be accompanied by an adult and wear a certified PFD near or in lake water.
