Located in Pickens County, Da Bears Den makes a convenient base for exploring Jasper and the surrounding North Georgia Mountains. Downtown Jasper has locally owned shops, restaurants, and community events, while the area is also known for its marble heritage. Visit the Georgia Marble Museum at the Pickens County Visitor Center to learn about the region's marble industry. For an outdoor outing, head to Burnt Mountain Overlook for mountain views or visit Amicalola Falls State Park to explore its trails and waterfall. Nearby Talking Rock is worth a visit for its historic character and antique shops, and local wineries offer a chance to sample wines from the region. From hiking and sightseeing to browsing small-town shops and learning about local history, there are plenty of ways to explore the Jasper area.
