Cabin w Hot Tub Theater Views Sleeps 22

My family & I enjoyed our spring break stay. We was there from April 10th - April 15th that’s a Thursday - Sunday.. We were excited when we seen the bears lol. Kids was amazed. Check in was at 4pm when we got there the cleaning crew was still there cleaning. After being on the road with toddlers & youth kids we was ready to get out & relax. Three of the beds there was very comfortable & I when I say comfortable I mean a little to firm too hard. You searched the whole cabin including closets for a broom. So how was we suppose to clean up after ourselves? Taking a shower everyday was HORRIBLE! The WATER was COLD! We tried letting it run but that didn’t work. Only one room had decent hot water but was only good for two ppl to shower before it got cold as well. (The room on your left on the kitchen floor has decent water) book this cabin be prepared for drive at lest 30mins to your attraction.. other than that we enjoyed our spring break weekend.. kids had a ball! The cabin was very beautiful! Way bigger than expected. Only two issues stood out - There were ladybugs everywhere on the first floor. My family who slept on the first floor couldn’t enjoy their sleep due to the bugs flying around their heads while in bed. Their tubs were also filled with ladybugs. The ladybugs took over the living room and kitchen, which was very annoying and also having to stop a 1 year old from picking them up. Also, we arrived to the cabin at night and it was difficult to find. It would have been nice and convenient to have LED address labels especially at night, since there’s no service and hard to contact. However, when I was able to get ahold of someone with the company (finally got service), they were nice and very helpful. Other than those two issues, my family will love to visit again

We had such an amazing time, loved how private and quiet was the place, we even saw a black bear. We definitely enjoy our stay at Grand Smokey Mountains. The host responded quickly to any question that I had. The house was clean overall. I would recommend this place.

My family and I had a good time this past weekend staying at Grad Smokey cabin but also had some unfortunate events. Also, some experience issues with the stay that were not a total loss of hindering us from our stay but We expected better in some aspects. The cleanliness. (dead lady bugs everywhere, hair in shower, not seemed to be vacuumed had to vacuum myself because we have small children) We hoped it to be better in some amenities that the cabin offered(remotes not working correctly, tvs not working, shower broken) The biggest one was consideration with my family and I leaving due to a serve snow storm. We asked for a later check out due to drive way being inaccessible and us having to walk & carry small children and all of our belongings up they’re very steep driveway during check in. We just asked to have a few more hours so we could get all of our things and children down the mountain safely walking through ice and snow and it was unacceptable.

We’re glad you and your family enjoyed your stay but apologize for the issues you experienced. Cleanliness is important to us, and we’ll address the concerns with our cleaning team. We’re also reviewing the issues with the remotes, TVs, and shower to prevent future problems. Regarding the snowstorm, we understand the difficulty of navigating the steep driveway. Unfortunately, we couldn’t accommodate a late checkout due to another guest arriving immediately after your stay. The house was spacious and we enjoyed all of the different gathering areas. Some of the furnishings were a little more dated than they appeared in the pictures. The couches in the main living room were in bad shape and very uncomfortable. One was basically sitting on the floor and needs to be replaced. The seating on the lower level and theater was much better. All of the kids wanted to spend their time in the game and movie rooms. The 100" TV was great for watching movies or football games. Being a pet friendly cabin, it would be nice to have at least a little outdoor space that was not gravel. The wrap around decks and covered space was nice. The hill to climb to reach the house was fairly steep and would be difficult if the roads were icy. The bottom floor stays much cooler than the rest of the house and the provided space heaters were necessary to stay comfortable.

We had an amazing experience at this cabin. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a weekend in the mountains with family and friends. The cabin is very comfortable, impeccably equipped with everything you need to feel at home, and the location is absolutely beautiful. The host was very kind and always quick to respond to any questions we had. We would definitely come back and highly recommend it!

Needs directions for how to use different things in house. There were no directions for lighting, fans, theater room etc. other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay

We had a great time staying in this house. We were a group of seniors from the university of toledo making the most of our spring break. The house is in a great location and everything was within a good driving distance. I would definitely stay in this house again.

Beautiful large cabin in ideal location 30 mins from both Dollywood and Gatlinburg. Dollar General and dining within 10 minutes. Some moderately steep curves on drive up but very little traffic coming other way. Outstanding.

The stay was wonderful. But only had a few issues with hot water in one of the showers and cold water in the tubes. In the restroom on the top floor and also another issue with the last bedroom restroom where the shower head didn’t work.

Other than some dust issues in the kitchen and lack of hot pads and kitchen towels, the cabin was great. Secluded with lots of things to do if the weather is bad. But close enough to drive to hiking trails or town for shopping, eating, miniature golf or a myriad of other things to do.

Because of flight delays we didn’t end up getting to the house until 4:00am. When we woke up next morning I tried to take a bath but our hot water handle was broken. I messaged directly and they had me send a picture and said they would get someone out to fix it but no one ever came and we stayed until Saturday. So we weren’t able to use our tub. Lots of other little inconveniences like broken blinds, no weather stripping on bottom of living door really noticed when a large storm blew through Tuesday night. No dish towels to dry dishes but overall the house was large and housed our large group well. Plenty of cups dishes and utensils. Since no one was renting directly after our stay they offered us a discount for an extra night which we took advantage of so we could sleep in because we didn’t have to fly out until 6:00pm Saturday. Everyone had a bed and slept great. I just think the house is probably older and needs a little TLC but overall the little things would not deter us from renting again. AND yes there is bear activity one tried to get into all of our cars. My husband scared it away.

House is great, but the facility managment portion was a series of disasters. We arrived to filthy house (clumps of dust and dirt on the floors, sand and animal hair in carpets, garbage inside the house, on the floors, under the tables/beds/chairs/couches, used toilets with urine and feces,garbage thrown all over outside ...). The property manager never checked the house before we checked in. They said that there 'was contractors' working there the DAY OF our check in and the 'contractors left a mess". There was nothing to clean the house with (we were told there was vacuums and brooms that we never found). There was also a leak from the ceiling that broke two ceiling tiles and left the hallway flooded. The rental company said that they would reimburse 'half of the cleaning fee', which never happened and it is not equal to the level of mess we checked into. The property owners should be made aware of the neglect to their property and how poorly it is being managed.
