Everything in the space is designed, arranged and provided so that you, your family, can just show up and play, relax, and enjoy the beach, making memories for years to come. The ocean is only 2 blocks away, and right on the beach is a legendary local favorite café and bar, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, beer and wine.

The owner’s vision for beach bum is to reach out to working families of all types and provide a unique, comfortable, casual, and fun environment.

If you don’t want to eat out – stay in and cook in the fully equipped kitchen with crockpot, blender, silverware, pots, pans, coffee maker, microwave and large appliances.

Looking from the kitchen and into the main room, you’ll find a cozy living room with sofa and recliner seating and a mounted smart TV for streaming all your favorite shows and movies. You’ll also find games, DVD, and stuffed animals for keeping the littles entertained plus cards, toys, and a chalk wall for the whole family to draw, write, and be creative. A table with bench seating for 4 is available for dining in with an additional 2 barstools at the kitchen counter.

This home comfortably sleeps a total of 5 guests between 1 private bedroom and option for an additional guest on the Serta Sofa Bed twin in the living room. The bedroom includes 2 comfortable full size beds with memory foam mattresses ensuring a great night’s sleep. The beachy bathroom includes a single vanity and shower/tub combo.

Beach Bum also provides you with the essential gear for the perfect day at the beach: beach toys, chairs, boogie boards, wagon, cooler, noodles, and blankets. Mustang Isle offers an outdoor fish cleaning station to help you prepare your daily catch, with grills and shaded picnic tables for enjoying a fresh meal al fresco. Make sure you rinse off in the outdoor shower before heading inside!

There’s no pool onsite – but not to worry – the Port Aransas Community Pool is less than 2 miles away, off Clark Parkway, offering a water park for kids, lap swimming, slides, and it is heated to 85 degrees starting in the fall and up until early spring. The community park also offers pickleball courts, an expansive skatepark, large playscape, plus hiking and bird watching trails. A schedule for aerobic classes, lap swimming, and community events is posted for you in the kitchen.

THINGS TO NOTE:
- Condo is located on the 2nd floor. There is an exterior flight of stairs from the ground level.
- Parking available for up to 2 standard size vehicles in the parking lot and golf carts count as one of the 2 vehicles allowed.
-Communal, credit card enabled laundry on site.
-No pets.

This unit and all the contents are someone else’s property. It is vital that all guests respect and take care of all aspects of the property. We complete a video walkthrough and take photos of all corners of the property to document the state of the property before check-in. Guests will be responsible for all damages that may occur during the stay and this can include extra cleaning depending upon how the property is left at check-out.

Strict age requirements! The age requirement for our properties is 25+ to book and at least one member of the party that is onsite throughout the entire stay must be 25 years of age or older. We require verified identities through the booking channels for the guest who makes the reservation and who is on the property.
No smoking! There is a strict no smoking policy at this property. Any evidence of smoking could result in extra cleaning fees.

Strict occupancy requirements! No parties or additional guests are allowed beyond the occupancy requirement. This is monitored and enforced by the City. Parties and loud noises of any kind are not allowed. Violation of this house rule could result in fines and revoking reservations and removal during the stay and prior to check-out.

No drugs! There is a strict no drug policy, including marijuana in any form. We report any evidence of drugs to the local police and report this evidence to the booking channel.

Check-in & check-out times: As a small, family-owned and local operator/host, we require strict adherence to our 4PM check-in time and 10AM check-out time. Alternative scheduling may be available with at least 24 hours advance notice, but this is not guaranteed. With many back-to-back check-outs and check-ins, we need our guests’ help to maintain our schedules to ensure that the unit is ready for the next guest.
