We loved our stay at the Cypress Cottage! The ocean views were absolutely stunning! The native landscape (succulents, cypress trees, etc.) were gorgeous. The location was breathtaking. Private residential community on a hillside with ocean views N to Santa Cruz & S to Monterey. Peaceful, tranquil environment. The interior of the house was vibrant & charming with huge windows showcasing the expansive ocean views. The beds & pillows were so very comfortable. The colorful, beautiful artwork displayed inside painted by the owner added significantly to the overall relaxing experience. The setting at night felt almost Magical. The cottage was exactly as described. We would easily recommend the Cypress College to anyone in need of a quiet escape. Loved it!

Location is on the edge of the the tourist crush. The unit is very comfortable and clean. The only drawback was, by contract, we weren’t able to invite two family members into the unit for a short visit since only the “occupants” are allowed inside. This felt a bit restrictive for people in their 60s and 70s. Otherwise we had a great time.
