Lakeside Retreat

Enjoy luxury living on beautiful Lake LBJ located just 1 hour north of Austin. Lake LBJ is known for its constant lake water levels which never fluctuate unlike other lakes in the Central Texas area. Lakeside Retreat is a WATERFRONT condo located in the gorgeous Horseshoe Bay Resort (HSB) complex It is the perfect vacation destination where you can completely unwind, relax and enjoy time on the water. If you are attending a wedding or a conference at the resort, then this condo is in the perfect location and provides more room than the HSB hotel.
When you aren’t on the water, enjoy sweeping 180 degree East-facing views of the lake from your private 300 sq ft balcony The balcony includes comfortable outdoor sofas and club chairs, large smart TV, a gas firepit, dining table, and a gas grill. There’s no better place to watch the changing colors of the sky at sunset than here while enjoying dinner on the grill and your favorite sports game on TV. Or wake up early and watch the sunrise over the lake while enjoying your morning coffee. During the holidays and summer time keep an eye out for fireworks which can often be seen from the lighthouse in front of the condo. You will have a front row view of the magnificent fireworks display. Enjoy fishing just off the boat dock.

Inside the unit, every detail has been considered for maximum relaxation, comfort and convenience. Plush deep couches fill the living area where you can enjoy movies on the big screen or a family game night. There are multiple board games stocked and available for your use. The gourmet, modern kitchen is a delight to use with high-end GE Café appliances including a double oven, induction stove top, a Sonic ice machine, coffee maker and a blender. The kitchen and bar is fully stocked to entertain with plenty of bar and serving ware as well ample counter space. The 5 barstools at the kitchen counter make for easy and relaxed breakfasts, while formal meals can be hosted at the dining table for 6.

This home sleeps 8 guests between 3 private bedrooms.

Bedroom #1 is the primary suite with a king size bed, smart TV, lake views and balcony access. The ensuite bathroom has a soaking tub, walk-in shower, linen closet, dual sinks, full length mirror and scale.

Bedroom #2 has a king size bed, large reach-in closet and a smart TV. It shares a bathroom with bedroom # 3.

Bedroom #3 has 4 twin size beds (2 bunk beds), a vanity space, a reach-in closet and an ensuite bathroom with a shower / tub combo. It shares the bathroom with bedroom #2.

THINGS TO NOTE:
-Washer and dryer are located inside the unit.
-1 reserved, covered parking space is available in the underground parking garage of the building. Additional guest parking is available at the yacht club parking lot (a 1 minute walk).
-Free High Speed WIFI.
-The Condo Building has an elevator, however, it is maintained by the Condo Association and outages are beyond our control. Please note that this unit is on the 4th floor and may require walking up sets of stairs in the event of elevator outage.
-Complimentary boat/jet ski water parking at the docks in front of the condo (first come basis). Nearby Public Boat Launch.
-Only small pets are allowed (less than 25lbs) - If you are bringing a small pet, the pet fee is not included in this total price. An additional pet fee of $35 per day will be applied after booking is complete. A maximum of 2 small pets can be brought to the unit. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact us.
-Filtered water is available from the refrigerator. If you prefer bottled water, a 5 gallon hot/cold water dispenser is available for your use. Instead of bringing cases of water bottles, feel free to bring a 5 gallon water bottle for your use while there.
-The Pool at The Waters Condo is currently closed due to construction within the area. The pool will be out of order till further notice. Swimming in the lake off the dock is allowed at your own risk.
-Ongoing construction in the area may cause noise during the daytime hours.

There are docks available for complimentary use in front of the condo for day or overnight boat parking on the water. So bring your boat or jet skis and keep them close and within view from your private balcony. If you want to go boating or jet skiing, but don’t have one, then rent one from one of the many boat rental companies around.

There are numerous restaurants and a grocery store within a 5 minute drive of the HSBR complex. There is fabulous shopping 10 minutes away in Marble Falls. Be sure to make reservations at the waterfront Bayview Restaurant for fabulous steak and seafood options.

There is a garbage bin located behind closed, double doors on the ground floor across from the elevator bank.

If you want to venture out further, the thriving cities of Marble Falls (10 minutes), Austin (1 hour) and San Antonio (1.75 hours) are easy day trip destinations where you can explore these unique urban centers. There are 67 wineries and breweries located in the Central Texas area that make for great day trip destinations as well.

This home will be stocked with a starter set of consumables such as soaps and paper products. Guests are advised to either bring or purchase additional after arrival.
