That’s not the only way to enjoy the lake, however, as you could also rent kayaks, paddleboards, and other assorted water-themed amenities to make the most of your experiences swimming, fishing, or sightseeing.

With all this right at your fingertips, you may not even want to venture away from the home. Should the mood eventually strike you, downtown Buford is only 3 miles away offering shopping, dining, and entertainment. A little way further and you’ll be in the town of Sugar Hill where you can book a tasting at the local distillery, and from there you can continue on to the Mall of Georgia where you can shop to your heart’s content at over 200 local and national brand stores. Make your way north of the home to Lanier Islands where you’ll find even more dining options, a championship golf course, and the exciting Margaritaville waterpark.

Even while inside the home you’ll enjoy unlimited views of the lake. Your morning cup of coffee, brewed on the Keurig coffee maker, is best taken in the sunroom where you can enjoy the peaceful views of the lake as the day begins anew.

Bedroom #1 includes a queen size bed and access onto the lake-facing sunroom.

Bedroom #2 includes a twin-over-full bunkbed.

The home also includes a full guest bathroom with a single vanity and shower/tub combo.

THINGS TO NOTE:
• Washer and dryer in home.
• Driveway parking available for up to 4 vehicles.
• The boat slip is unavailable this year, but guests can moor their boats of less than 22 ft to the dock. Please let the property manager know if you plan to do this.
• This home is equipped with an outdoor security camera monitoring the dock, as well as a Ring doorbell on the front door.

The largest lake in Georgia, Lanier boasts 700 miles of shoreline spread over 38,000 acres of spectacular scenery. The water in Lake Lanier comes from Georgia’s Blue Ridge Mountains. The rain falls on the mountains, runs over beautiful waterfalls, and then makes its way down to Lake Lanier via the Chattahoochee and Chestatee Rivers. This expansive lake offers something for everyone, with over 45 parks lining its shores. Though the most popular activities include fishing, boating, and camping, based on the area’s abundant natural resources, Lake Lanier has recreational activities for the whole family. Lake Lanier also has golfing facilities as well as the world's best kayaking, water skiing and swimming.

In nearby Buford, Georgia, Historic Main Street comes alive as local artists display their eclectic wares at the historic Tannery Row Artist Colony right up the street from quaint upscale restaurants and decor shops. Buford is also home to the Buford Community Center, Town Park & Theatre which hosts free outdoor movies and concerts, and ticketed stage plays and concerts at an indoor state-of-the-art auditorium. Buford Community Center is also home to the Buford History Museum. The jewel of Buford, the historic Bona Allen Mansion, sits at the edge of Main Street and plays host to private events and weddings.
