An A-frame cabin hugged by trees on all sides, Chalet Vino is a picturesque escape into the beautiful nature of Southern California. From exposed wood beams to the raw stone fireplace and mountain inspired decor, this home is true to its Nordic roots. But luxurious details and high-end furnishings ensure your stay is nothing short of serene. More than just relaxing, this property also brings the fun with an outdoor hot tub and game room stocked with board games and pool table. Bring your favorite bottle of vino to enjoy when it is time to wind down.
In keeping with the tradition of A-frames, the home’s main level features vaulted ceilings with floor to ceiling windows on the rear side. The wood burning fireplace and smart tv are central to the room, framed on either side by sliding glass doors which open onto the back deck. Reaching out into the trees, the deck feels reminiscent of a tree house with comfortable seating, outdoor dining, natural gas firepit, and grill.

Back inside, the fully equipped kitchen has all the appliances and homeware needed for cozy meals and drinks at home. In addition to the outdoor dining space, and indoor table seats 6 guests for shared meals.

Bedroom #1 has a queen size bed and smart tv.

Bedroom #2 is a semi-private loft with a full size bed, queen size bed, smart tv, desk space and en-suite half-bathroom. Sliding glass doors open from the loft onto the upper balcony. 3 additional floor sleeping pads are available.

THINGS TO NOTE:
- To ensure compliance with local city and county regulations, every individual, regardless of age (including infants and children), is included in the total occupancy count. Reservations exceeding the maximum allowed occupancy for this property cannot be accepted.
-The home shares a full bathroom with shower/tub combo.
-Home is at 7,200ft altitude which provides the most snow of any place on the mountain
-Crab Flats is near by with 4x4/Jeeping activities.
- If you park on the street, you will be towed and fined
-Washer and dryer in unit.
-There are exterior security cameras
-Be sure to bring all your groceries as this home is in the mountains
-Please note that this home can accommodate up to 2 Dogs, with an additional Pet Fee of $35 per pet/per day. This fee is not included in your final booking price. If you are bringing Dogs, please contact our Customer Care Team after booking to pay the pet fee.

Green Valley is nestled in a region of the San Bernardino Forest known and loved for freshwater lakes, fresh mountain air, beautiful ski seasons, and off seasons filled with outdoor activities like hiking, mountain biking, and fishing. Green Valley Lake is an ideal location for travelers seeking a rustic experience with a true ‘cabin in the woods’ feel. This small community is a quiet retreat into nature with lake swimming, boat rentals, and beautiful hiking trails including a popular walk around the lake’s perimeter. Community play areas include sports courts, kids’ playground, picnic areas, and beach volleyball court. Situated between Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear, Green Valley also gives you access to the dining, shopping, and live entertainment of nearby villages.

This location is also ideal for its close proximity to nearby Snow Valley Mountain Resort with thrilling ski runs in the winter, and serviced mountain biking and the Scenic View Chair to enjoy during the offseason. The resort is just 15 minutes away with 13 lifts, 29 runs, and options for every experience level. Non-skiers can get their thrill with high-speed tubing down the slopes at nearby snowtubing locations.

Early check-in and late checkout are based on availability and require approval, and may be subject to an additional fee of up to $60.00 depending on the number of additional hours requested.   1. HOUSE RULES: IMPORTANT - must read before booking!
  2. - ARRIVAL TIME: 4:00 PM
  3. - DEPARTURE TIME: 10:00 AM
  4. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with San Bernardino County’s Good Neighbor Guide (https://www.sbcounty.gov/uploads/lus/codeenforcement/51395-Brochure-for-Short-Term-Rentals-For-Visitors.pdf) and the property management’s rules before finalizing your reservation.
  5. San Bernardino County Code Enforcement and the Property Management can evict unruly guests who blatantly disregard any rules or regulations without a refund. The minimum fine for violating the stated rules is $1000 per violation, $2000 for the second, and $5000 for the third violation. All guests at the time of booking acknowledge and agree to follow all house rules, neighborhood rules, and city laws and ordinances.
  6. - OCCUPANCY: Do not exceed maximum occupancy at any time during your stay. Children are counted in total occupancy. You may not have additional guests during the day. You must be 21 years old or older to book this property.
  7. - PARKING: Street and yard parking is NOT allowed, please park in the driveway (or garage) or you will be fined $1000 for the first citation and $2000 for each subsequent violation. Your vehicle may be towed at your own expense. Caltrans requires all vehicles to carry chains during the winter months. 4WD and AWD are preferred and may be needed to access the driveway during the winter months.
  8. - NO EVENTS OR PARTIES ALLOWED.
  9. - NO SMOKING, NO VAPING, NO ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES
  10. - NO UNAUTHORIZED PET: (If this home is dog friendly): This home can accommodate up to 2 licensed dogs. Please notify us ahead of time if you plan to bring your furry friend to make the payment. Our pet fee is $35 per night, per dog and MUST be paid prior to arrival. They must be licensed, leashed outdoors, stay off the furniture, and never be left unattended. We supply bags for you to pick up your dog’s waste. Please bring your pet’s bedding for their own comfort. You are responsible for all pet-related damage. (If not dog friendly): Unauthorized pets will result in a fine and immediate eviction.
  11. - NOISE CURFEW: This home is in a quiet, residential neighborhood. Please respect our neighbors. The noise curfew is strictly enforced between 10 pm to 8 am, this includes spa usage. Amplified music is not permitted to be heard beyond the property line 24/7.
  12. - TRAVEL INSURANCE: Please purchase travel insurance, as we do NOT refund for COVID, sicknesses, inclement weather, road closures, evacuations, power outages, bugs, pollen, etc. Again, there are NO refunds unless you purchase travel insurance.
  13. - WINTER INFO: During the winter months, Caltrans requires all vehicles to carry chains, including 4WD and AWD vehicles. You may need 4WD, AWD, or chains to access the driveway. The driveway will be clear of snow for your arrival to the best of our ability and street parking is NOT allowed. There are shovels to use for your departure should it snow during your stay. Firewood is not provided. Power outages can occur and are a risk when visiting the mountains. We do not offer refunds for power outages or lack of access due to snow.
  14. - AIR CONDITIONING: Most mountain homes do NOT have air conditioning. Please inquire before you book if it’s important to you.
  15. - HIGH FIRE RISK: San Bernardino Mountains is a high-risk area. Fireworks, wood fire pits, improper disposal of cigarette butts, charcoal BBQs are prohibited. You will be fined and/or prosecuted. Please take this seriously.
  16. - WILDLIFE/MOUNTAIN LIFE: Bears, deer, donkeys, mountain lions, racoons, squirrels, mice, rats, spiders, bats, flies, moths, ants, and other wildlife frequent this area so make sure to lock up the property and your vehicle. We utilize pest control services to control indoor pests as much as possible, but they exist in the mountains! We will NOT refund for wildlife in or near the home. Please keep doors closed to keep them from coming inside.
  17. - DAMAGE WAIVER: Your booking includes an Accidental Damage Waiver which covers you for anything seen as accidental. You will be charged for anything seen as neglectful or intentional. It is best to report all damage to us when it occurs so we may correct it for the next guest. Please be respectful of our home and we understand that accidents do happen.
  18. - SECURITY/CAMERAS: This home has a security system, exterior cameras and a noise decibel monitoring system to ensure your safety. There may be exterior recordings. There are absolutely no interior cameras.
  19. - GUEST SATISFACTION: Grand Welcome inspects every property prior to your arrival. If you have any issues, please contact us so we can handle them when you are here to ensure your stay exceeds your expectations. We will make every reasonable effort to efficiently make the repair. If we are alerted to issues after checking out, you will not be refunded so it is important to report them right away.

  21. - BE RESPONSIBLE: This cabin is privately owned. Lovely quiet cabin, close to sledding

Overall, this cabin was a great place for our family (2 adults, 2 pre-teen age kids, and 2 dogs). There was a ton of snow, and cabin was down the street (walking distance) to a great sledding area. It was very quiet and peaceful. Beds were comfortable.Cabin was one of the most well-stocked houses we've stayed in. There were TONS of board games, pool table, and sleds available when we were there. Kitchen is well stocked with pots/pans/utensils, and even sharp knives. When we were there, there were a lot of extras, too. There was confusion about pet fee, and when I discussed with manager, they were very responsive & addressed our concerns. Future renters should know that the pet fee is per pet, per night (this is not clear on listing). Be sure you communicate with the manager re: the price for all pets before you reserve (they are very responsive and friendly). Overall, a great stay for our family and we'd highly recommend.

Beautiful cabin!!

Quiet and calm

This property was stellar in every way. There were so many beautiful and thoughtful details dispersed throughout. We really loved every minute that we spent in it. It was off the beaten path, which was perfect for us but might be a bit much for others. Overall, we would love to come back again.

Exceeded expectations! Such a warm, comfortable, friendly spot off of the beaten path. Sledding 2 blocks away, no noise except for the ducks, and fun inside and out. Highly recommended!
