Within 5 minutes, you can be at the lake where you can hike or bike the shores, rent a boat, kayak, or canoe for a day out on the water, or cast a line out with the hopes of catching the evening’s dinner. In the winter, this area is an immensely popular destination for skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing, offering several resorts to choose from for any skill level. In fact, you’re within a 10-minute walking distance from the home to Snow Summit, fulfilling all of your desired snow-themed desires. For a more leisurely pace through the powder, the area also includes several cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails. If city life is more your thing, Big Bear Lake has a variety of restaurants and shops to dine and browse where you can leave the car behind and wander around for hours.
Stepping indoors, the home’s gorgeous interior instantly welcomes you in, perfectly blending the rustic elements of nature with elegant décor and furnishings. The living room includes a plush leather sofa and armchair with a large, mounted smart TV ready to stream all your favorite shows. In the colder months, throw a few logs on the wood fireplace to spark up the perfect ambiance for watching a movie with loved ones while bundled up under a cozy blanket. The chef’s kitchen showcases high-end stainless steel appliances, Viking refrigerator, Miele dishwasher, Thermador 6-burner stove and oven that you won’t even mind spending time preparing meals in, with ample counterspace and cabinetry ready to assist in all your prep and planning. Gather together around the chic dining room table with room for 12, bathed in natural light by the abundance of windows offering picturesque views of the property. A den just off of the master bedroom is quiet place to get away and catch up on a good book with sofa and armchair seating along with a toasty gas fireplace. When you’re ready to kick things up a notch, head to the game room where a full-sized pool table, tabletop arcade game, and electric dart board provide hours of competitive fun.
If you simply cannot get enough of the outdoors, you’re in luck as the spacious deck provides the opportunity for al fresco dining, relaxing in the shade, or enjoying the peaceful morning hours with your fresh cup of coffee. A bubbling hot tub on the patio is the perfect place to soak all your cares away while enjoying a cool beverage under the stars.
This home comfortably sleeps 12 guests between 4 private bedrooms and a full sleeper sofa in the den.
Bedroom #1 includes a queen size bed, smart TV, patio access, and ensuite bathroom with a dual vanity, soaking tub, and glass walk-in shower.
Bedroom #2 includes a king size bed, gas fireplace, work desk with chair, and ensuite bathroom with a dual vanity, soaking tub, and glass walk-in shower.
Bedroom #3 includes a triple twin bunked, a triple full bunkbed, and ensuite bathroom with a single vanity and shower/tub combo.
Bedroom #4 includes a queen size bed and deck access.
The home also includes 2 additional full guest bathrooms - the first with a single vanity and shower/tub combo, and the second with a single vanity, walk-in shower, and sauna.
THINGS TO NOTE:
- To ensure compliance with local city and county regulations, every individual, regardless of age (including infants and children), is included in the total occupancy count. Reservations exceeding the maximum allowed occupancy for this property cannot be accepted.
- Washer and dryer in home.
- Parking available for up to 4 vehicles – 2 in the garage and 2 in the driveway. The garage also offers a complimentary EV charger. Street parking is strictly prohibited.

For a quiet retreat away from urban hustle and bustle, it doesn't get any better than Big Bear. Immersed in nature, this little village provides all the best of lake life in the mountains of the San Bernardino National Forest. The recreational activities in this area, such as hiking, biking, skiing, and fishing, maintain Mother Nature as the premier attraction, although shopping, dining, and live entertainment can be enjoyed in The Village.
This location is also ideal for its close proximity to nearby Big Bear Mountain Resort with thrilling ski runs in the winter and serviced mountain biking, the Scenic Sky Chair, and 9 holes of golf to enjoy during the offseason. The resort is just minutes away with 26 lifts, 55 runs, and options for every experience level. Non-skiers can get their thrill with high-speed tubing down the slopes. Big Bear’s 3 snowtubing locations (Alpine Slide, Big Bear Snow Play, and Grizzly Ridge Tube Park) are equipped with moving walkways which carry you to the top of the tubing runs. These fun-filled locations feature year-round options as well with summer tubing, mountain coaster ride, ropes course, waterslides, and more.
For stays of 28 days or more a mid-stay clean is mandatory and the fee is $245.

- HOUSE RULES: IMPORTANT - must read before booking!
- - ARRIVAL TIME: 4:00 PM
- - DEPARTURE TIME: 10:00 AM
- Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the City of Big Bear Lake’s Good Neighbor Policy and the property management’s rules before finalizing your reservation. The City of Big Bear Lake and Property Management can evict unruly guests who blatantly disregard the following rules without a refund. The minimum fine for violating the stated rules is $500 per violation and $1000 for the second and each additional violation. All guests at the time of booking acknowledge and agree to follow all house rules, neighborhood rules, and city laws and ordinances.
- - CHECK IN: The City of Big Bear Lake requires in-person check-in with a valid ID and a signed agreement of the Good Neighbor Policy from the person who made the reservation. This is not optional, and you can incur a minimum $500 fine from the City of Big Bear Lake if you ignore this step. Thank you for keeping us compliant with the rules. You will receive your access information at the time of check-in.
- - OCCUPANCY: Do not exceed maximum occupancy at any time during your stay. Children are counted in total occupancy. You may not have additional guests during the day. You must be 25 years old or older to book this property.
- - PARKING: Street and yard parking is NOT allowed, please park in the driveway (or garage). or you will be fined $500 for the first citation and $1000 for each subsequent violation. Your vehicle may be towed at your own expense. 4WD, AWD, and chains are required for travel during the winter months. You will need them to access the property during the winter months.
- - NO EVENTS OR PARTIES ALLOWED
- - NO SMOKING, NO VAPING, NO ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES
- - NO UNAUTHORIZED PET: Unauthorized pets will result in a fine and immediate eviction.
- - NOISE CURFEW: This home is in a quiet, residential neighborhood. Please respect the neighbors' privacy. The noise curfew is strictly enforced between 10 pm to 7 am, this includes spa usage. Amplified music is not permitted to be heard beyond the property line 24/7.
- - TRAVEL INSURANCE: We strongly advise you to purchase travel insurance, as we do NOT refund for COVID, inclement weather, road closures, evacuations, power outages, bugs, pollen, etc.
- - WINTER INFO: During the winter months, Caltrans requires all vehicles to carry chains, including 4WD and AWD vehicles. You will need 4WD, AWD, or chains to access the property and parking areas. The driveway will be clear of snow for your arrival to the best of our ability. There are shovels to use for your departure should it snow during your stay. Firewood is not provided. Power outages can occur and are a risk when visiting Big Bear.
- - AIR CONDITIONING: Most mountain homes do NOT have air conditioning. Please inquire before you book if it’s important to you.
- - HIGH FIRE RISK: San Bernardino Mountains is a high-risk area. Fireworks, wood fire pits, improper disposal of cigarette butts, charcoal BBQs are prohibited. You will be fined and/or prosecuted.
- - WILDLIFE/MOUNTAIN LIFE: Bears, deer, donkeys, racoons, squirrels, mice, spiders, bats, flies, moths, ants, and other wildlife frequent this area so make sure to lock up the property and your vehicle. We utilize pest control services to control indoor pests as much as possible, but they exist in the mountains! We will not refund for wildlife in or near the home. Please keep doors closed to keep them from coming inside.
- - DAMAGE WAIVER: Your booking includes an Accidental Damage Waiver which covers you for anything seen as accidental. You will be charged for anything seen as neglectful or intentional. It is best to report all damage to us when it occurs so we may correct it for the next guest. Please be respectful of our home.
- - SECURITY/CAMERAS: This home has a security system, exterior cameras and/or noise decibel monitoring systems to ensure your safety. There are no interior cameras.
- - GUEST SATISFACTION: Grand Welcome inspects the property prior to your arrival. If you have any issues, please contact us so we can handle them when you are here to ensure your stay exceeds your expectations. We will make every reasonable effort to efficiently make the repair. If we are alerted to issues after checking out, you will not be refunded so it is important to report them right away.
