Alpen Adventures has an awesome location for exploring all the best of Lake Arrowhead, but there’s fun to be had right at home too! An enclosed trampoline offers hours of outdoor play for young travelers, while the indoor game room boasts a poker table, large sectional couch, and smart tv. Whether it’s movie night or poker night, this cozy room promises an awesome time! Back upstairs, the fully equipped kitchen has all the appliances, cookware, and space you’ll need to whip up delicious meals at home. Gather to share quality time and yummy food at the dining table set for 8.

- Bedroom #2 has a king size bed, sliding glass doors opening onto the home’s lower deck, and an ensuite bathroom with shower/tub combo.
- Bedroom #3 has 2 sets of twin size bunk beds and sliding glass doors opening onto the home’s lower deck.
THINGS TO NOTE:
- To ensure compliance with local city and county regulations, every individual, regardless of age (including infants and children), is included in the total occupancy count. Reservations exceeding the maximum allowed occupancy for this property cannot be accepted.
- The home has 2 additional full bathrooms.
- Please note that this home can accommodate up to 2 Dogs, with an additional Pet Fee of $35 per pet/per day. This fee is not included in your final booking price. If you are bringing Dogs, please contact our Customer Care Team after booking to pay the pet fee.
- Washer and dryer in unit.
- Parking space for 2 vehicles is available in the driveway, no street parking. The owners have their personal boat parked in the driveway.
- A queen size sleeper sofa is provided in the game room.
- EV charger in front of the house.
- There is one exterior motion sensing camera located on the right corner of the house that faces the entrance door to the home. This camera does not continuously record.

The recreational activities in this area, such as hiking, biking, skiing, and fishing, maintain Mother Nature as the premier attraction, although unique shopping and dining can be enjoyed in Lake Arrowhead Village.
This location is also ideal for its close proximity to nearby mountain resorts with thrilling ski runs in the winter and serviced mountain biking and scenic hiking in the summer. Snow Valley Mountain Resort is just 35 minutes away with trails for every level and the only chairlift sledding area in Southern California. 15 minutes away, enjoy the fun and entertainment at Skypark Santa’s Village. Around the holidays, this property transforms into a nostalgic Old-World Christmas in the woods with shopping, dining, and outdoor activities like ice skating. Santa can be found here year-round, even in the summer when professionally designed bike trails and zip lines are a main attraction.

Please note that requests for late checkout must be received no later than 10:00 AM local time on the day prior to your departure. Early check-in and late checkout are based on availability and require approval, and may be subject to an additional fee of up to $60.00 depending on the number of additional hours requested. Please feel free to contact us if you are interested in arranging. For stays of 28 days or more a mid-stay clean is mandatory and will cost $189.

- HOUSE RULES: IMPORTANT - must read before booking!
- - ARRIVAL TIME: 4:00 PM
- - DEPARTURE TIME: 10:00 AM
- Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with San Bernardino County’s Being a Good Neighbor Policy. San Bernardino County Code Enforcement and Property Management can evict unruly guests who blatantly disregard the following rules without a refund. The minimum fine for violating the stated rules is $1000. All guests at the time of booking acknowledge and agree to follow all house rules, neighborhood rules, and city laws and ordinances.
- - OCCUPANCY: Do not exceed maximum occupancy at any time during your stay. Children are counted in total occupancy. You may not have additional guests during the day. You must be 21 years old or older to book this property.
- - PARKING: Street and yard parking is not allowed, please park in the driveway (or garage). or you will be fined $1000 - $5000. Your vehicle may be towed at your own expense. 4WD, AWD, and chains are required for travel during the winter months. You will need them to access the property during the winter months.
- - NO EVENTS OR PARTIES ALLOWED
- - NO SMOKING, NO VAPING, NO ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES
- - NO UNAUTHORIZED PET: This home can accommodate up to 2 licensed dogs. Please notify us ahead of time if you plan to bring your furry friend. We charge $35 per night, per dog and you MUST pay the pet fee prior to arrival. They must be licensed, leashed outdoors, stay off the furniture, and never be left unattended. We supply bags for you to pick up your dog’s waste. You are responsible for all pet-related damage. Unauthorized pets will result in a fine and immediate eviction.
- - NOISE CURFEW: This home is in a quiet, residential neighborhood. Please respect the neighbors' privacy. The noise curfew is strictly enforced between 10 pm to 7 am, this includes spa usage. Amplified music is not permitted to be heard beyond the property line 24/7.
- - TRAVEL INSURANCE: You should purchase travel insurance, as we do not refund for COVID, inclement weather, road closures, evacuations, power outages, bugs, pollen, etc.
- - WINTER INFO: During the winter months, Caltrans requires all vehicles to carry chains, including 4WD and AWD vehicles. You will need 4WD, AWD, or chains to access the property and parking areas. The driveway will be clear of snow for your arrival to the best of our ability. There are shovels to use for your departure should it snow during your stay. Firewood is not provided. Power outages can occur and are a risk when visiting Big Bear.
- - AIR CONDITIONING: Most mountain homes do NOT have air conditioning. Please inquire before you book if it’s important to you.
- - HIGH FIRE RISK: San Bernardino Mountains is a high-risk area. Fireworks, wood fire pits, improper disposal of cigarette butts, charcoal BBQs are strictly prohibited. You will be fined and/or prosecuted.
- - WILDLIFE/MOUNTAIN LIFE: Bears, deer, donkeys, racoons, squirrels, mice, spiders, bats, flies, moths, ants, and other wildlife frequent this area so make sure to lock up the property and your vehicle. We utilize pest control services to control indoor pests as much as possible, but they exist in the mountains! We will not refund for wildlife in or near the home. Please keep doors closed to keep them from coming inside.
- - DAMAGE WAIVER: Your booking includes an Accidental Damage Waiver which covers you for anything seen as accidental. You will be charged for anything seen as neglectful or intentional. It’s best to report all damage to us when it occurs and be respectful of our home.
- - SECURITY/CAMERAS: This home has a security system, exterior cameras and/or noise decibel monitoring systems to ensure your safety. There are no interior cameras.
- - GUEST SATISFACTION: Grand Welcome inspects the property prior to your arrival. If you have any issues, please contact us so we can handle them when you are here to ensure your stay exceeds your expectations. We will make every reasonable effort to efficiently make the repair. If we are alerted to issues after checking out, you may not be refunded so it’s important to report them right away.

- - BE RESPONSIBLE: This cabin is privately owned. The homeowner and property manager are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illness that occur; damage to, or theft or loss of personal items (if found, shipping is at your expense, minimum of $50); wild or domestic animals in the area; and acts of nature.
